Description

A TIRE SHREDDING MACHINE
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to at least one tire shredding machine particularly for use in recycling of used vehicle tires and which has at least one first shredding part provided on at least one body and which can separate a tire into parts, and at least one second shredding part which can provide dividing of the parts, which are output from said first shredding part, into smaller parts.
PRIOR ART
An automobile tire or shortly a tire is a rubber coating which completely encircles automobile wheel and which can be inflated and which engages around an inner cylinder. A tire becomes worn after specific usage duration and has to be replaced with a new one. Tires where thread depth has decreased to lower than 1.6 mm become useless due to their physical characteristics and due to loss of safety. When tires become worn, they compromise driving safety and therefore, they must be replaced. These tires, which become useless, can be recycled or recovered.
Tires which become useless are sent to material recovery or energy recycling plants and they are recovered for the environment and for country economy. An important portion of the tires which become useless is used in material recycling plants. Tones of waste tires are broken in grinding machines and they are separated into rubber and steel parts. Steel wires are separated from rubber on bands which have magnetic characteristic. Shredded materials are transformed into granule form which has a size from micron level to specific sizes. These products are evaluated as raw material in industry and in activities related to environment. Rubber material which is in granule form can be turned into a form which is suitable for usage in areas which shall not directly affect human health.
During transforming of tires into granule form, tires are passed through machines having various cutters. There are pluralities of machines in the art which can realize this process. The application with number US4684071 known in the literature is one of them. The invention particularly relates to a machine for use in shredding of tires of vehicles. In the machine, there are mutual cylindrical cutters. And pluralities of such cutters are provided on the machine. Each cutter group can reduce the tire to a different size. Thanks to this, tire can be reduced until predetermined sizes. However, in said machine, cutting cannot be realized except the predetermined sizes. A granule can be obtained only at a predetermined size. Moreover, another deficiency of the present art is that the flow of tire parts on the cutter cannot be adjusted.
As a result, because of the abovementioned problems, an improvement is required in the related technical field.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a tire shredding machine, for eliminating the abovementioned disadvantages and for bringing new advantages to the related technical field.
An object of the present invention is to provide a tire shredding machine where different sized tire parts can be obtained.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a tire shredding machine where the tire can be distributed on cutters.
In order to realize the abovementioned objects and the objects which are to be deducted from the detailed description below, the present invention is at least one tire shredding machine particularly for use in recycling of used vehicle tires and which has at least one first shredding part provided on at least one body and which can separate a tire into parts, and at least one second shredding part which can provide dividing of the parts, which are output from said first shredding part, into smaller parts. Accordingly, the improvement of the present invention is that said body comprises at least one opening between the first shredding part and the second shredding part, and at least one cover associated with said opening; and said cover is configured to be actuated between a closed position, where the tire parts are allowed to flow to the second shredding part, and at least one open position where the tire parts can be discharged through the opening. Thus, while the tire is shredded, different sized tire parts can be obtained by means of a single tire shredding machine.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, the cover is rotatable in at least one rotation axis and is configured to interrupt tire part flow to the second shredding part in said open position. Thus, while the cover provides discharge of the tire parts through the opening by being turned in the rotation axis, it can completely interrupt the flow to the second shredding part at the same time.
In another possible embodiment of the present invention, at least one distribution element is provided between the first shredding part and the second shredding part. Thus, the tire parts are distributed by preventing pouring of the parts through a single location in the second shredding part.
In another possible embodiment of the present invention, said distribution element is connected to at least one third drive element for providing rotation of the distribution element. Thus, the distribution element is actuated and provides carrying of the tire parts which said distribution element contacts.
In another possible embodiment of the present invention, at least one guide is provided for providing flow of the tire parts to the distribution element. Thus, the tire parts poured from the first shredding part directly contact the distribution element.

In Figure 5, a representative lateral cross-sectional view of the open position of the subject matter tire shredding machine is given. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, the subject matter is explained with references to examples without forming any restrictive effect only in order to make the subject more understandable.
In Figures 1 , 2 and 3, one each representative perspective views of the subject matter tire shredding machine (1) are given. Accordingly, said tire shredding machine (1) is configured to provide shredding of the tire. In the invention, said tire is particularly a rubber coating which completely encircles the wheel of vehicle and which can be inflated or which engages around an inner cylinder which can be inflated. The tire shredding machine (1 ) preferably provides shredding of the scrap tire and recycling thereof in different processes.
The tire shredding machine (1 ) has at least one body (10). There is at least one inlet side
(11) essentially at the part of said body (10) which faces the upper side and there is at least one outlet side (12) at the part of said body (10) which faces the lower side. The tire parts are left from the inlet side (11 ) through the body (10). Tire parts advance towards the outlet side
(12) as a result of the effect of gravity. The tire parts are configured to be shredded by the tire shredding machine (1 ) during this advancing. Afterwards, the tire parts can be carried by means of a conveyor which can be positioned at the outlet side (12).
The tire shredding machine (1) has at least one first shredding part (20) and at least one second shredding part (30) for shredding the tire. Said first shredding part (20) and said second shredding part (30) are positioned so as to be adjacent to each other one above the other. The raw tire parts are at least partially shredded in the first shredding part (20) and afterwards, said tire parts are shredded into smaller parts by the second shredding part (30).
On said first shredding part (20), at least one first cutting group (21 ) is positioned for shredding the tire and at least one first drive element (22) is positioned for actuating the first cutting group (21). The first cutting group (21 ) essentially has cylindrical-shaped cutting blades positioned mutually. These cutting blades have sharp ends and provide deformation of the tire parts entering in between. There is a structure, which is similar to the structure on the first shredding part (20), on the second shredding part (30). On the second shredding part (30), there is at least one second cutting group (31) for shredding the tire, and at least one second drive element (32) is positioned for actuating said second cutting group (31). The second cutting group (31 ) essentially has cylindrical-shaped cutting blades positioned mutually. These cutting blades have sharp ends and they provide deformation of the tire parts entering in between. Thanks to this, the tire parts can be deformed in a two-stepped manner in the tire shredding machine (1). Moreover, there can be threads on the second cutting group (31) for providing more sharpness. Tires can be shredded into smaller parts by means of these threads and can be turned into powder form.
At least one distribution element (40) is positioned between the first shredding part (20) and the second shredding part (30). Said distribution element (40) provides the tire parts, poured from the first shredding part (20), to be distributed onto the second cutting group (31 ) provided at the second shredding part (30). In order to realize this, the distribution element (40) is essentially made in helical structure. The distribution element (40) is configured to be rotated in two directions around its own by at least one third drive element (42). By means of this, the tire parts poured from the first shredding part (20) are provided to pour onto the second cutting group (31) in a distributed manner and not from a single location. Again by means of this, the second cutting group (31) is prevented from being becoming blunt through a single location thereof in time, and the usage lifetime of the second cutting group (31) is extended. At least one guide (41 ) is used for providing pouring of the tire parts, poured from the first shredding part (20), directly onto the distribution element (40). Said guide (41 ) is essentially provided on the body (10) in the form of inclined surface. The distribution element (40) is provided on the side of the inclination which faces the ground, and the tire parts which hit the guide (41 ) directly contact the distribution element (40).
On the body (10), at least one opening (13) is positioned between the first shredding part (20) and the second shredding part (30). Said opening (13) essentially provides the tire parts, processed in the first shredding part (20), to be discharged from the body (10) without advancing to the second shredding part (30). In order to realize this, there is at least one cover (50) associated with the opening (13). Said cover (50) is essentially configured to open and close the opening. The cover (50) is configured to be actuated between a closed position (II), where the tire parts are allowed to flow to the second shredding part (30), and at least one open position (III) where the tire parts can be discharged through the opening (13).
Moreover, there is at least one ventilation element (43) on the body (10). Said ventilation element (43) is particularly positioned between the first shredding part (20) and the second shredding part (30) on the body (10) and provides discharge of the dust, which may exist around the tire parts, from the body (10). In order to realize this, the ventilation element (43) can be configured to blow air or suction air or both blow air and suction air. Moreover, this ventilation element also provides control of the system temperature. In Figure 4, a representative lateral cross-sectional view of the closed position (II) of the subject matter tire shredding machine (1) is given. Accordingly, in the closed position (II), the cover (50) closes the opening (13) and provides the tire parts to flow from the first shredding part (20) to the second shredding part (30). In other words, in the tire shredding machine (1), the tire is subjected to two-stepped shredding process. Thanks to this, tire parts with reduced size can be obtained. In this process, the diameter of the tire parts can be reduced to 1-3 millimeters.
In Figure 5, a representative lateral cross-sectional view of the open position (III) of the subject matter tire shredding machine (1) is given. Accordingly, in the open position (III), the cover (50) is positioned in a manner allowing removal of the tire parts through the opening (13). In order to provide this, the cover (50) is connected in at least partially rotatable manner in at least one rotation axis (I) on the body (10). The cover (50) can be positioned in said rotation axis (I) by means of an element which is similar to a hinge. The cover (50) can rotate in the rotation axis (I) and can be rested to the opposite side of the body (10) from one side. Thanks to this, passage of the tire parts to the second shredding part (30) is prevented, and the tire parts are guided towards the opening (13). In this process, when the diameter of the tire parts is reduced to 30-60 millimeters, the tire parts can be discharged without further reducing the size thereof.
Together with all these embodiments, while two-stepped tire shredding can be realized in the tire shredding machine (1) when desired, single-stepped tire shredding can be realized when desired. Thanks to this, in case different sized tire parts have to be obtained, the need for multiple tire shredding machines (1 ) is eliminated and these processes can be realized by means of a single tire shredding machine (1 ). Besides, by means of the distribution element (40) provided in the tire shredding machine (1), the tire parts are distributed in predetermined manner in the second shredding part (30), and power saving and long lifetime are provided.
The protection scope of the present invention is set forth in the annexed claims and cannot be restricted to the illustrative disclosures given above, under the detailed description. It is because a person skilled in the relevant art can obviously produce similar embodiments under the light of the foregoing disclosures, without departing from the main principles of the present invention.
