Description

Flavor generating goods
The present invention relates to a flavor-generating article.
Conventionally, flavor-generating articles for sucking flavors and the like without burning the material are known (for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2). Such a flavor-generating article has a flavor source containing tobacco containing a volatile component, and can be directly heated from the inside of the flavor source by inserting a heater or the like inside the flavor source.

The so-called internal heating type heating device that heats the flavor source from the inside with a heater such as a heating blade, a heating pin, or a susceptor can directly heat the flavor source to a high temperature. However, in order to heat to a high temperature up to the outer periphery of the flavor source, heat can be dissipated from the outer periphery of the flavor source in contact with the device, so that it is considered that the heating efficiency is not very good. In order to efficiently heat the flavor source with such an internal heating type heating device and deliver the aerosol source contained in the flavor source to the mouthpiece side, the orientation and density of the tobacco raw material inside the flavor source is a heater. Must be properly maintained with the insert inserted. However, in order to achieve this, if the filling amount of the tobacco raw material before the heater is inserted is reduced, the hardness of the flavor source cannot be maintained, so that rolling failure or tipping during the production of the flavor-generating article occurs. There is a risk of doing it. On the other hand, if the filling amount is increased in order to prevent poor rolling or tipping off, it becomes difficult for the heater to be inserted into the flavor source when the flavor generating article is inserted into the heating device.
An object of the present invention is to improve the hardness of a portion of a flavor-generating article containing a flavor source without increasing the filling amount.
According to the first form, a flavor-generating article is provided. This flavor-generating article has a first portion and a second portion longitudinally adjacent to the first portion. The first portion has a flavor source containing tobacco, an inner rolling paper around which the flavor source is wrapped, and an outer rolling paper around which the outer circumference of the inner rolling paper is wrapped. The inner rolling paper is thicker than the outer rolling paper and has a plurality of grooves along the longitudinal direction at least on either the inner surface or the outer surface thereof. At least one of the plurality of grooves has a dam portion provided inside the groove.
According to the first form, since the flavor source is wrapped with the inner roll paper that is thicker than the outer roll paper, the strength of the first portion can be improved without increasing the filling amount of the flavor source. In other words, the strength of the first portion is generally improved as the volume filling rate is increased, but the strength of the first portion can be improved by the inner rolling paper. Therefore, the range of filling amount of the flavor source is widened, and the degree of freedom in design can be improved. Specifically, the filling amount of the flavor source can be changed according to the desired taste. Further, the inner rolling paper has a plurality of grooves on at least one of the inner surface and the outer surface thereof. If this groove is, for example, half-cut or debossed, it will be easier to bend the inner roll along the groove when the inner roll winds the flavor source. As a result, the inner rolling paper can be made of a material having a certain degree of rigidity, for example, thick paper, and the strength of the first portion can be improved. Further, when the groove is formed on the inner surface of the inner rolling paper, even if a force is applied in the direction of crushing the first portion (diameter direction), the plurality of half cuts or debosses are deformed so as to be crushed, and the half cuts or debosses are defined. Since the inner surfaces of the inner rolling papers come into contact with each other and repel each other, the shape of the first portion can be easily maintained. Further, by arranging the dam portion in the groove, the groove is less likely to be crushed, and the strength of the first portion can be improved. Further, according to the first embodiment, the amount of air passing through the groove can be reduced by the dam portion. As a result, when the user sucks the flavor-generating article, the amount of air passing through the inside of the flavor source can be increased, and the delivery amount of the flavor and / or aerosol generated from the flavor source can be increased. Therefore, according to the first embodiment, since the strength of the first portion can be improved without increasing the filling amount of the flavor source, the density of the flavor source can be easily inserted into the heater for internal heating. While adjusting the degree, it is possible to achieve the strength of the first portion so that the first portion and the second portion can be easily wound with, for example, chipping paper.
The gist of the second form is that, in the first form, each of the plurality of grooves has at least one dam portion.
According to the second form, the strength of the first portion can be further improved, and the amount of air passing through each of the plurality of grooves can be reduced. As a result, when the user sucks the flavor-generating article, the amount of air passing through the inside of the flavor source can be further increased, and the delivery amount of the flavor and / or aerosol generated from the flavor source can be increased.
The third aspect is the gist of the second aspect, that the dam portion of each of the plurality of grooves is arranged at a different position in the longitudinal direction from the dam portion provided in the adjacent groove. ..
According to the third form, since each of the dam portions is distributed and arranged in the longitudinal direction, the strength of the first portion in a wider range can be improved.
In the second form or the third form, the fourth form is the dam portion closest to the second portion in the longitudinal direction and the dam portion closest to the second portion in the longitudinal direction among the dam portions of each of the plurality of grooves. The gist is that the distance in the longitudinal direction from the dam portion far from the two portions is 50% or more and 90% or less of the length in the longitudinal direction of the flavor source.
According to the fourth form, since each of the dam portions is distributed and arranged in the longitudinal direction, the strength of the first portion in a wider range can be improved. If the distance is less than 50% of the longitudinal length of the flavor source, the strength of the first portion in the longitudinal direction will be biased. When the above distance exceeds 90% of the length in the longitudinal direction of the flavor source, the rod, which is the raw material of the flavor generating article, is cut at the position including the dam portion and the dam portion is crushed, so that the function of the dam portion ( There is a risk of impairing the reduction of air and the improvement of the strength of the first part). However, even if the dam portion is cut at the time of cutting the rod, the function of the dam portion is not impaired as long as the shape of the dam portion is maintained and remains in the groove.
In the fifth form, in any one of the first to fourth forms, the plurality of grooves include a plurality of first grooves along the longitudinal direction on the inner surface of the inner rolling paper, and the dam portion is the plurality of. The gist is that it includes the first dam part provided inside the first groove of the above.
According to the fifth embodiment, since a plurality of first grooves are provided on the inner surface of the inner rolling paper, the gap inside the inner rolling paper is reduced by the cigarette entering the first groove, and the strength of the first portion is improved. Can be done. Further, according to the fifth embodiment, by arranging the first dam portion in the first groove, the first groove is less likely to be crushed, and the strength of the first portion can be improved. Further, according to the fifth embodiment, the amount of air passing through the first groove can be reduced by the first dam portion. As a result, when the user sucks the flavor generating article, the amount of air passing near the center of the flavor source can be increased, and the delivery amount of the flavor and / or aerosol generated from the flavor source can be increased.
The sixth form is characterized in that, in the fifth form, the width of the plurality of first grooves in a state where the inner rolling paper is wrapped with the flavor source is 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less.
According to the sixth form, tobacco can easily enter the first groove. If the width of the first groove is less than 0.5 mm, it becomes difficult for tobacco to enter. Further, if the width of the first groove is more than 2.0 mm, the width of the first groove is too large, and the strength of the first portion may be lower than in the case where the width of the first groove is in the above range. be.
The gist of the seventh form is that in the fifth form or the sixth form, the depth of the plurality of first grooves is 0.1 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less.
According to the seventh form, tobacco can easily enter the first groove. If the depth of the first groove is less than 0.1 mm, it becomes difficult for tobacco to enter. Further, when the width of the first groove is more than 2.0 mm, the depth of the first groove is too large, and the strength of the first portion is lowered as compared with the case where the depth of the first groove is in the above range. There is a fear.
The gist of the eighth form is that, in any one of the fifth to seventh forms, the flavor source includes the strand-shaped tobacco arranged in the longitudinal direction.
According to the eighth form, since the tobacco is in the form of a strand arranged in the longitudinal direction, the tobacco easily enters the first groove, and the tobacco enters the first groove, so that the gap inside the inner rolling paper is reduced, and the second The strength of one part can be further improved. In the present specification, the "longitudinal direction" includes a direction having an inclination of 20 ° or less with respect to the longitudinal direction of the first portion.
The gist of the ninth form is that, in the eighth form, the width of the strand-shaped tobacco in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction is 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less.
According to the ninth form, the strand-shaped tobacco can easily enter the first groove having an appropriate width and depth.
The gist of the tenth form is that, in the eighth form or the ninth form, the thickness of the strand-shaped tobacco in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction is 0.1 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less.
According to the tenth form, the strand-shaped tobacco can easily enter the first groove having an appropriate width and depth.
In the eleventh form, in any one of the first to tenth forms, the plurality of grooves include a plurality of second grooves along the longitudinal direction on the outer surface of the inner rolling paper, and the dam portion is the plurality of. The flavor generating article includes a second dam portion provided inside the second groove of the above, and the flavor generating article has a gap corresponding to the second groove between the outer surface of the inner rolling paper and the inner surface of the outer rolling paper. Is the gist.
According to the eleventh form, since there is a gap between the outer surface of the inner wrapping paper and the inner surface of the outer wrapping paper, it is possible to suppress the heat of the flavor source from being transferred to the outside when the flavor-generating article is heated from the inside. Can be done. As a result, the flavor-generating article is efficiently heated, so that the amount of electric power for heating the flavor source can be suppressed, or the time for heating the flavor source to a predetermined temperature can be shortened. Further, the heat transfer to the device that heats the flavor-generating article is reduced, and the temperature rise of the device is suppressed. Further, when the second groove is, for example, a half cut or a deboss, when the inner roll paper winds the flavor source, the inner roll paper is easily bent along the half cut or the deboss. As a result, the inner rolling paper can be made of a material having a certain degree of rigidity, for example, thick paper, and the strength of the first portion can be improved. Further, by arranging the second dam portion in the second groove, the second groove is less likely to be crushed, and the strength of the first portion can be improved. Further, according to the eleventh embodiment, the amount of air passing through the second groove can be reduced by the second dam portion. As a result, when the user sucks the flavor-generating article, the amount of air passing through the inside of the flavor source can be increased, and the delivery amount of the flavor and / or aerosol generated from the flavor source can be increased.
In the twelfth form, in the eleventh form, the second portion has a hollow member arranged on the side adjacent to the first portion, and the plurality of grooves of the inner rolling paper are in the longitudinal direction of the inner rolling paper. The hollow member has a hollow channel and a packed layer defining the hollow channel, and the packed layer of the hollow member is close to the ends of the plurality of grooves. Or, the gist is that they are arranged so as to close the ends of the plurality of grooves.
According to the twelfth form, the packed layer of the hollow member is arranged close to or closed at the end of the groove, so that the amount of air passing through the groove can be reduced. As a result, when the user sucks the flavor-generating article, the amount of air passing through the inside of the flavor source can be increased, and the delivery amount of the flavor and / or aerosol generated from the flavor source can be increased.
The thirteenth form is any of the first to twelfth forms, and the gist is that the inner rolling paper has a corrugated cross-sectional shape in a cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction.
According to the thirteenth form, since the inner rolling paper is corrugated paper, the strength of the first portion in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction can be improved. In this case, when the flavor source is wrapped with corrugated paper, the recess located on the inner surface corresponds to the first groove, and the recess located on the outer surface corresponds to the second groove.
The gist of the 14th form is that, in any one of the 1st to 13th forms, the basis weight of the inner rolling paper is 40 g / m 2 or more and 150 g / m 2 or less.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the drawings described below, the same or corresponding components are designated by the same reference numerals and duplicated description will be omitted. In the present specification, the "longitudinal direction" refers to the longitudinal direction of the flavor-generating article, in other words, the insertion direction of the flavor-generating article into the heating device. Further, in the present specification, the "short direction" means a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction.
FIG. 1 is a schematic side sectional view of a heating system including a flavor generating article according to the present embodiment. The heating system 10 according to the present embodiment includes a flavor generating article 100 and a heating device 20. The heating device 20 is preferably a portable device or a handheld device. As shown in FIG. 1, the heating device 20 includes a battery 22, a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) 24, a housing 30, and a heating unit 40. The flavor generating article 100 has a smokeable substance 102 containing a flavor source heated by the heating device 20. The detailed configuration of the flavor generating article 100 will be described later.
The heating device 20 is configured to atomize the smokeable substance 102 contained in the flavor generating article 100. The smokeable substance 102 constitutes, for example, a part of a columnar flavor generating article 100 extending along the longitudinal direction. The flavor generating article 100 may be, for example, a tobacco stick in which the smokeable substance 102 contains tobacco. The battery 22 stores the electric power used in the heating device 20. For example, the battery 22 is a lithium ion battery. The battery 22 may be rechargeable by an external power source.
The PCB 24 is composed of a CPU, a memory, and the like, and controls the operation of the heating device 20. For example, the PCB 24 starts heating the smokeable substance 102 in response to a user operation on an input device such as a push button or a slide switch (not shown), and ends heating of the smokeable substance 102 after a certain period of time. When the number of puffing operations by the user exceeds a certain value, the PCB 24 may end the heating of the smokeable substance 102 even before a certain time has elapsed from the start of heating the smokeable substance 102. For example, the puffing motion is detected by a sensor (not shown).
Alternatively, the PCB 24 may start heating the smokeable substance 102 according to the start of the puff operation, and may end the heating of the smokeable substance 102 according to the end of the puff operation. The PCB 24 may end the heating of the smokeable substance 102 even before the end of the puff operation when a certain time has elapsed from the start of the puff operation. In this embodiment, the PCB 24 is arranged between the battery 22 and the heating unit 40.
In the illustrated example, the heating device 20 is configured to receive the stick-shaped flavor generating article 100. Further, as shown in the figure, the battery 22, the PCB 24, and the heating unit 40 may be arranged in a direction in which the flavor generating article 100 is inserted into the heating device 20. The housing 30 is a housing that houses the battery 22, the PCB 24, and the heating unit 40. The housing 30 has an air inlet 30a for supplying air to the heating unit 40, and an insertion end portion 32 having an opening 34 for accommodating a chamber described later.
The heating unit 40 has a heating unit 42 and a chamber 50. The heating unit 42 has a shape that can be inserted into the smokeable substance 102, and is configured to heat the smokeable substance 102 from the inside. Specifically, the heating portion 42 has a blade portion 42a inserted into the smokeable substance 102 and a holder portion 42b for fixing the heating portion 42 to the housing 30. The blade portion 42a is a portion that comes into contact with the smokeable substance 102 in a state where the flavor generating article 100 is positioned at a desired position in the chamber 50. The blade portion 42a can have, for example, a resin substrate and a heating track formed on the surface thereof. A lead wire 43 for supplying electric power from the battery 22 to the blade portion 42a is connected to the blade portion 42a. The heating unit 42 may have a susceptor that is induced and heated by an induction coil. In that case, the susceptor is inserted into the smokeable substance 102 and induced and heated by an induction coil (not shown) to heat the smokeable substance 102.
FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the chamber 50 shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the chamber 50 has an opening 51 for receiving the flavor generating article 100. The chamber 50 has a side wall 52 surrounding the smokeable substance 102 and a bottom wall 54 to which the ends of the smokeable substance 102 abut. The bottom wall 54 has an opening 54a for supplying air to the end of the smokeable substance 102. The air flowing in from the air inlet 30a of the housing 30 due to the suction of the flavor generating article 100 of the user reaches the smokeable substance 102 through the opening 54a of the chamber 50 and is supplied into the user's mouth together with the aerosol or flavor generated from the smokeable substance 102. Will be done.
Further, the heating device 20 may be provided with a first void S1 between the housing 30 and the outer peripheral surface of the side wall 52 of the chamber 50. As a result, it is possible to suppress or reduce the heat transfer of the blade portion 42a and the heated smokeable substance 102 to the housing 30 through the first void S1. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the temperature rise on the surface of the housing 30 and reduce the heat being taken from the smokeable substance 102 by the chamber 50. In particular, since heat can be reduced from being taken away from the outer peripheral side of the smokeable substance 102, the aerosol can be more sufficiently generated from the smokeable substance 102 even in the latter half of the smoking operation. Further, since the heat transfer to the chamber 50 can be suppressed or reduced, the heat transfer to the inside of the heating device 20 through the chamber 50 can also be reduced.
The illustrated chamber 50 may be configured to be movable with respect to the housing 30 along the insertion direction of the flavor generating article 100. Specifically, the side wall 52 of the chamber 50 may not be fixed to the housing 30 and may be configured to be slidable with respect to the opening 34 of the housing 30. Although not shown, the heating device 20 is provided with an operating means such as a lever that moves the chamber 50 along the insertion direction of the flavor generating article 100, so that the chamber 50 to which the operating means is connected is moved in the inserting direction of the flavor generating article 100. be able to. As a result, after the flavor generating article 100 is used, the smokeable substance 102 is placed in the chamber 50, and the chamber 50 is moved toward the insertion end 32, so that the smokeable substance 102 such as tobacco is flavored. The smokeable substance 102 can be removed from the blade portion 42a while suppressing or reducing spillage from the generated article 100.
Next, the cross-sectional shape of the chamber 50 will be described. 3A to 3C are cross-sectional views showing an example of the cross-sectional shape of the chamber 50 in the arrow 3-3 shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 3A, the side wall 52 of the chamber 50 has a holding portion 56a that is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the smokeable substance 102 to hold the smokeable substance 102, and a separating portion 56b that is separated from the smokeable substance 102. .. The holding portions 56a and the separating portions 56b are alternately arranged along the circumferential direction of the chamber 50. The holding portion 56a and the separating portion 56b are connected by a flat wall surface, and the cross section of the chamber 50 is formed in a star shape.
In the example shown in FIG. 3B, the chamber 50 has a substantially circular cross section, and a plurality of substantially plate-shaped holding members 58 are formed on the inner surface of the side wall 52 of the chamber 50. The plurality of holding members 58 may be formed on the inner surface of the side wall 52 of the chamber 50 at equal intervals along the circumferential direction. The holding member 58 has one end connected to the side wall 52 and the other end in contact with the smokeable substance 102 to hold the smokeable substance 102.
According to the example of the chamber 50 shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, a second void S2 is provided between the inner peripheral surface of the side wall 52 of the chamber 50 and the smokeable substance 102 of the flavor generating article 100 housed in the chamber 50. Be done. By providing the second void S2, an air heat insulating layer is formed around the smokeable substance 102, and the heat generated from the blade portion 42a of the heating portion 42 is transferred to the chamber 50 and the housing 30 through the second void S2. Can be suppressed or reduced. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the temperature rise on the surface of the housing 30 and reduce the heat being taken from the smokeable substance 102 by the chamber 50. In particular, since heat can be reduced from being taken away from the outer peripheral side of the smokeable substance 102, the aerosol or flavor can be more sufficiently generated from the smokeable substance 102 even in the latter half of the smoking operation.
In the example shown in FIG. 3C, the side wall 52 of the chamber 50 has an inner side wall 52a and an outer wall 52b having a substantially circular cross section. The space defined by the inner side wall 52a and the outer wall 52b is sealed, and the space may be filled with, for example, a sodium-based heat insulating material 57. The inner diameter of the inner side wall 52a is substantially the same as the inner diameter of the smokeable substance 102, and substantially the entire inner surface of the inner side wall 52a functions as a holding surface for holding the smokeable substance 102.
The cross-sectional shape of the side wall 52 of the chamber 50 is not limited to the shape shown in FIGS. 3A to 3C, and may be any shape.
Next, the configuration of the flavor generating article 100 according to the present embodiment will be described. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the flavor generating article 100. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the flavor generating article 100 includes a flavor source 111, an inner wrapping paper 120 for wrapping the flavor source 111, and a first wrapping paper 112 (of the outer wrapping paper) for wrapping the outer periphery of the inner wrapping paper 120. (Corresponding to an example), a base material portion 100A containing (corresponding to an example of the first portion), and a mouthpiece portion 100B (corresponding to an example of the second portion) forming an end portion opposite to the base material portion 100A. ) And has. The mouthpiece 100B is arranged adjacent to the base material 100A in the longitudinal direction. The inner rolling paper 120 is preferably a nonflammable material at 200 ° C. Further, the thermal conductivity of the inner rolling paper 120 is preferably 0.3 w / (m · K) or less. In this case, the heat of the flavor source 111 is less likely to be transmitted to the outside of the flavor generating article 100, and the flavor source 111 can be efficiently heated by the heating unit 42. The thermal conductivity of the inner wrapping paper 120 can be measured by, for example, a rapid thermal conductivity meter QTM-500 manufactured by Kyoto Electronics Industry Co., Ltd.
The smokeable substance 102 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 contains a flavor source 111, and may further contain an aerosol source to improve the taste. The base material portion 100A and the mouthpiece portion 100B are connected by a second wrapping paper 113 different from the first wrapping paper 112. However, the second wrapping paper 113 may be omitted, and the base material portion 100A and the mouthpiece portion 100B may be connected by using the first wrapping paper 112.
The mouthpiece 100B in FIG. 4 has a hollow segment 116 (corresponding to an example of a hollow member), a filter portion 115, and a paper tube portion 114 arranged between the hollow segment 116 and the filter portion 115. .. That is, the hollow segment 116 is arranged at the end portion of the mouthpiece portion 100B adjacent to the base material portion 100A. The hollow segment 116 has, for example, one or more hollow channels 116a and a packed bed 116b defining the hollow channels 116a. Since the packed layer 116b has a high packing density of fibers, air, flavor, or aerosol hardly flows through the hollow channel 116a and hardly flows in the packed layer 116b at the time of suction. In the flavor generating article 100, when it is desired to reduce the decrease due to the filtration of the aerosol component in the filter portion 115, shortening the length of the filter portion 115 and replacing it with the hollow segment 116 increases the delivery amount of the flavor or aerosol. Is effective for. Further, a paper filter may be arranged on the flavor generating article 100, or a hollow segment 116, an acetate filter, or some of paper filters may be combined.
The mouthpiece 100B in FIG. 4 is composed of three segments, but in the present embodiment, the mouthpiece 100B may be composed of one or two segments, or four or more. It may be composed of segments. For example, the hollow segment 116 may be omitted, and the paper tube portion 114 and the filter portion 115 may be arranged adjacent to each other to form the mouthpiece portion 100B. Further, the paper tube portion 114 may be filled with a cooling member such as a phase-changing material such as polylactic acid.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the length of the flavor generating article 100 in the longitudinal direction is preferably 40 mm to 90 mm, more preferably 50 mm to 75 mm, and even more preferably 50 mm to 60 mm. The circumference of the flavor generating article 100 is preferably 15 mm to 25 mm, more preferably 17 mm to 24 mm, and even more preferably 20 mm to 23 mm. Further, the length of the base material portion 100A in the flavor generating article 100 is preferably 10 mm to 20 mm, the length of the first wrapping paper 112 is preferably 10 mm to 20 mm, the length of the hollow segment 116 is preferably 5 mm to 10 mm, and the paper. The length of the tube portion 114 is preferably 10 mm to 40 mm, and the length of the filter portion 115 is preferably 5 mm to 20 mm, but the lengths of these individual segments are appropriately changed according to manufacturing suitability, required quality, and the like. can. Further, as shown in the drawing, a member downstream of the flavor source 111 may be integrally connected to the flavor source 111 with a second wrapping paper 113, or these downstream members may be provided separately and the first wrapping paper may be provided. It may be integrally connected with the flavor source 111.

The type of aerosol source is not particularly limited, and extracts from various natural products and / or their constituents can be selected depending on the intended use. The aerosol source is preferably a polyhydric alcohol and can be, for example, glycerin, propylene glycol, triacetin, 1,3-butanediol, and mixtures thereof. The content of the aerosol source in the flavor source 111 is not particularly limited, and is usually 5% by weight or more, preferably 10% by weight or more, from the viewpoint of sufficiently generating an aerosol and imparting a good flavor and taste. Yes, and usually 50% by weight or less, preferably 20% by weight or less.

Of the strand-shaped tobacco contained in the flavor source 111, 50% by weight or more of the strand-shaped tobacco is preferably arranged in the longitudinal direction. Strand-shaped tobacco can be formed, for example, by pulverizing dried tobacco leaves so that the average particle size is about 20 μm to 200 μm, homogenizing the dried tobacco leaves, processing the sheet, and cutting the dried tobacco leaves into strands. In addition, in this specification, a "strand-like" means a string-like or a strip-like having a width equal to or larger than the thickness of a sheet-like tobacco leaf. The material of tobacco is not particularly limited, and known materials such as lamina and middle bone can be used. The water content of the flavor source 111 is, for example, 8% by weight to 18% by weight, preferably 10% by weight to 16% by weight. With such a water content, the occurrence of winding stains is suppressed, and the winding suitability of the base material portion 100A at the time of manufacturing is improved. For example, dried tobacco leaves may be chopped to a width of 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm. Further, the flavor source 111 may contain one kind or two or more kinds of fragrances. The type of the fragrance is not particularly limited, but menthol is preferable from the viewpoint of imparting a good taste.
In the present embodiment, the first wrapping paper 112 and the second wrapping paper 113 of the flavor generating article 100 can be made from a base paper having a basis weight of, for example, 20 gsm to 65 gsm, preferably 25 gsm to 45 gsm. The thickness of the first wrapping paper 112 and the second wrapping paper 113 is not particularly limited, but is 10 μm to 100 μm, preferably 20 μm to 75 μm, from the viewpoint of rigidity, breathability, and ease of adjustment during papermaking. , More preferably 30 μm to 50 μm.
In the present embodiment, the first wrapping paper 112 and the second wrapping paper 113 of the flavor generating article 100 may contain a filler. The content of the filler may be 10% by weight to 60% by weight, preferably 15% by weight to 45% by weight, based on the total weight of the first wrapping paper 112 and the second wrapping paper 113. In the present embodiment, the filler is preferably 15% by weight to 45% by weight with respect to a preferable range of basis weight (25 gsm to 45 gsm). As the filler, for example, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, kaolin and the like can be used. The paper containing such a filler exhibits a preferable white-based bright color from the viewpoint of appearance used as a rolling paper for the flavor-generating article 100, and can permanently maintain whiteness. By containing a large amount of such a filler, for example, the ISO whiteness of the wrapping paper can be increased to 83% or more. Further, from the practical viewpoint of using as a wrapping paper for the flavor generating article 100, the first wrapping paper 112 and the second wrapping paper 113 preferably have a tensile strength of 8N / 15 mm or more. This tensile strength can be increased by reducing the content of the filler. Specifically, the tensile strength can be increased by reducing the content of the filler from the upper limit of the content of the filler shown in the range of each basis weight exemplified above.
The flavor generating article 100 of the present embodiment includes an inner rolling paper 120 in order to improve the hardness of the base material portion 100A without increasing the filling amount. FIG. 5 is an exploded perspective view of the base material portion 100A. FIG. 6A is a perspective view of the inner rolling paper 120. FIG. 6B is a side view of the inner rolling paper 120 as viewed from the longitudinal direction. FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view of the base material portion 100A orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the inner rolling paper 120 around which the flavor source 111 is wound has a plurality of first grooves 120a along the longitudinal direction on the inner surface thereof. The plurality of first grooves 120a may be partially formed in the longitudinal direction of the inner rolling paper 120, but it is preferable that the first grooves 120a extend from one end to the other end in the longitudinal direction of the inner rolling paper 120. Further, the inner wrapping paper 120 is thicker than the first wrapping paper 112. In the present specification, the "inner surface of the inner wrapping paper 120" and the "outer surface of the inner wrapping paper 120" are the surface corresponding to the inner surface and the outer surface of the inner wrapping paper 120 when the flavor source 111 is wound, respectively. Means.
The plurality of first grooves 120a in the illustrated example may be half-cut or debossed. The half-cut or debossing can be formed by making a cut in the surface of the inner rolling paper 120, cutting a part of the surface, or compressing the surface. Further, the half-cut or debossing may be formed by laser processing. That is, the half-cut or deboss can also be said to be a cutting line or an indentation line formed on the surface of the inner rolling paper 120. As shown in FIG. 7, in the flavor generating article 100 of the present embodiment, at least a part of the tobacco constituting the flavor source 111 enters the first groove 120a of the inner rolling paper 120.
According to the flavor generating article 100 shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, since the flavor source 111 is wound with the inner rolling paper 120 thicker than the first wrapping paper 112, the base material portion does not increase the filling amount of the flavor source 111. The strength of 100A can be improved. In other words, the strength of the base material portion 100A is generally improved as the volume filling factor is increased, but the strength of the base material portion 100A can be improved by the inner rolling paper 120. Therefore, the range of filling amount of the flavor source 111 is widened, and the degree of freedom in design can be improved. Specifically, the filling amount of the flavor source 111 can be changed according to the desired taste. Further, since the inner rolling paper 120 has a plurality of first grooves 120a which are half-cut or debossed on the inner surface thereof, when the inner rolling paper 120 winds the flavor source 111, the inner rolling paper 120 is formed along the first groove 120a. It becomes easy to bend. As a result, the inner rolling paper 120 can be made of a material having a certain degree of rigidity, for example, thick paper, and the strength of the base material portion 100A can be improved. The basis weight of the inner rolling paper 120 is preferably 40 g / m 2 or more and 150 g / m 2 or less. Further, even if a force is applied in the crushing direction (diameter direction) of the base material portion 100A, the plurality of half cuts or debosses are deformed so as to be crushed, and the inner surfaces of the inner rolling paper 120 defining the half cuts or debosses come into contact with each other. Since they repel each other, the shape of the base material portion 100A can be easily maintained. Further, when the cigarette enters the first groove 120a, the gap inside the inner rolling paper 120 is reduced, and the strength of the base material portion 100A can be improved. When the tobacco constituting the flavor source 111 is in the form of a strand, the tobacco easily enters the first groove 120a, further reduces the gap inside the inner rolling paper 120, and further improves the strength of the base material portion 100A. be able to.
Further, in the flavor generating article 100 shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, at least one of the plurality of first grooves 120a has a first dam portion 130 provided inside the first groove 120a. The first dam portion 130 can be formed of, for example, any material that is difficult or impermeable to air, and can be formed, for example, by curing an adhesive. Further, the plurality of first grooves 120a of the inner rolling paper 120 may be formed by thermoforming, and the first dam portion 130 corresponds to the first groove 120a and the first dam portion 130 when the first groove 120a is thermoformed. It can be formed by thermoforming the inner rolling paper 120 with a mold. The first dam portion 130 is located inside the first groove 120a so as to suppress the air flow in the first groove 120a.
As shown in FIG. 6A, the first dam portion 130 has an upper surface 130a and a side surface 130b. In the illustrated example, the first dam portion 130 is formed so that the angle formed by the upper surface 130a and the side surface 130b is substantially a right angle, but the first dam portion 130 is not limited to this, and the corner portion formed by the upper surface 130a and the side surface 130b is not limited to this. It may be rounded so that it can be chamfered. The first dam portion 130 may have a height smaller than the depth of the first groove 120a, but as shown in FIG. 6B, the first dam portion 130 has at least the same depth as the first groove 120a. It is preferable that it has a height and is configured to completely fill a part of the first groove 120a in the longitudinal direction. More specifically, as shown in FIG. 11B, the first dam portion 130 is preferably formed so as to connect the vertices of adjacent mountains defining the first groove 120a. As a result, the air passing through the first groove 120a can be blocked.
According to the flavor generating article 100 shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the amount of air passing through the first groove 120a can be reduced by the first dam portion 130. As a result, it becomes difficult for air to pass through the first groove 120a, so that when the user sucks the flavor generating article 100, the amount of air passing near the center of the flavor source 111 can be increased, and the flavor source 111 can be used. The amount of flavor and / or aerosol delivery produced can be increased. Further, by arranging the first dam portion 130 in the first groove 120a, the first groove 120a is less likely to be crushed, and the strength of the base material portion 100A can be improved.
Therefore, according to the flavor generating article 100 of the present embodiment, the strength of the base material portion 100A can be improved without increasing the filling amount of the flavor source 111. Therefore, while adjusting the density of the flavor source 111 to such that the blade portion 42a for internal heating can be easily inserted, the base material portion 100A and the mouthpiece portion 100B are combined with the second wrapping paper 113 (chipping paper). It is possible to achieve the strength of the base material portion 100A that can be easily rolled.
In the flavor generating article 100 shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, it is preferable that each of the plurality of first grooves 120a has at least one first dam portion 130. As a result, the strength of the base material portion 100A can be further improved, and the amount of air passing through each of the plurality of first grooves 120a can be reduced. As a result, when the user sucks the flavor generating article 100, the amount of air passing near the center of the flavor source 111 can be further increased, and the delivery amount of the flavor and / or aerosol generated from the flavor source 111 is increased. be able to. In this case, it is preferable that the first dam portion 130 of each of the plurality of first grooves 120a is arranged at a position different in the longitudinal direction from the first dam portion 130 provided in the adjacent first groove 120a. As a result, each of the first dam portions 130 is dispersed and arranged in the longitudinal direction, so that the strength of the base material portion 100A in a wider range can be improved.
Further, among the first dam portions 130 of each of the plurality of first grooves 120a, the first dam portion 130 closest to the mouthpiece 100B in the longitudinal direction and the first dam portion 130 farthest from the mouthpiece 100B in the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal distance L1 (see FIG. 6A) is preferably 50% or more and 90% or less of the longitudinal length of the flavor source 111. If the distance L1 is less than 50% of the length of the flavor source 111 in the longitudinal direction, the strength of the base material portion 100A in the longitudinal direction may be biased. When the distance L1 is more than 90% of the length in the longitudinal direction of the flavor source, the rod which is the raw material of the flavor generating article 100 is cut at the position including the first dam portion 130, and the first dam portion 130 is crushed. As a result, the function of the first dam portion 130 (reduction of air and improvement of the strength of the base material portion 100A) may be impaired. However, even if the first dam portion 130 is cut at the time of cutting the rod, the function of the first dam portion 130 is not impaired as long as the shape of the first dam portion 130 remains in the first groove 120a. ..
FIG. 8 is a perspective view of the inner rolling paper 120 according to another example. FIG. 9 is a side view of the inner rolling paper 120 shown in FIG. 8 as viewed from the longitudinal direction. FIG. 10 is a cross-sectional view orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the base material portion 100A according to another example. As shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, the inner rolling paper 120 around which the flavor source 111 is wound has, in addition to the plurality of first grooves 120a, a plurality of second grooves 120b along the longitudinal direction on the outer surface thereof. The "outer surface of the inner rolling paper 120" means the outer surface when the inner rolling paper 120 is wrapped with the flavor source 111.
The illustrated inner rolling paper 120 is obtained by processing the sheet material forming the inner rolling paper 120 into a corrugated shape, specifically, a triangular wavy shape. Therefore, the first groove 120a and the second groove 120b of the illustrated inner wrapping paper correspond to the concave portions on the inner surface and the concave portions on the outer surface of the inner wrapping paper 120 formed in a corrugated shape, respectively. The inner rolling paper 120 shown in FIG. 8 can be manufactured by passing, for example, acetate paper or the like through an embossing roller (corrugated roller) to form a triangular wavy mold.
As shown in FIG. 10, in the flavor generating article 100 of the present embodiment, at least a part of the tobacco constituting the flavor source 111 enters the first groove 120a of the inner rolling paper 120. Further, as shown in FIG. 10, in the flavor generating article 100, since the inner wrapping paper 120 has a plurality of second grooves 120b, a plurality of pieces of the inner wrapping paper 120 are provided between the outer surface of the inner wrapping paper 120 and the inner surface of the first wrapping paper 112. It has a gap S3 corresponding to the second groove 120b.
According to the example shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, since the gap S3 is provided between the outer surface of the inner wrapping paper 120 and the inner surface of the first wrapping paper 112, the flavor source 111 is heated when the flavor generating article 100 is heated from the inside. It is possible to suppress the transfer of heat to the outside. As a result, since the flavor generating article 100 is efficiently heated, the amount of electric power for heating the flavor source 111 can be suppressed, or the time for heating the flavor source 111 to a predetermined temperature can be shortened. Further, the heat transfer to the heating device 20 that heats the flavor generating article 100 is reduced, and the temperature rise of the heating device 20 is suppressed. Further, by forming the void S3, the inner rolling paper 120 can be deformed when the blade portion 42a is inserted into the flavor source 111, and the blade portion 42a can be easily inserted into the flavor source 111. The plurality of second grooves 120b may be partially formed in the longitudinal direction of the inner rolling paper 120, but it is preferable that the second grooves 120b extend from one end to the other end in the longitudinal direction of the inner rolling paper 120. As a result, the volume of the void S3 corresponding to the second groove 120b can be increased, and the heat insulating effect of the void S3 corresponding to the second groove 120b can be improved.
Further, since the inner rolling paper 120 is a corrugated sheet (corrugated paper), the strength of the base material portion 100A in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction can be improved.
It should be noted that a plurality of second grooves 120b can be formed by forming a half cut or a deboss on the outer surface of the inner rolling paper 120 shown in FIGS. 5 to 7. Further, a plurality of second grooves 120b may be formed by forming a half cut or a deboss only on the outer surface of the inner rolling paper 120. Also in these cases, since the gap S3 is formed between the outer surface of the inner rolling paper 120 and the inner surface of the first rolling paper 112, the heat of the flavor source 111 is external when the flavor generating article 100 is heated from the inside. It is possible to suppress the transmission to. Further, when the inner rolling paper 120 winds the flavor source 111, it becomes easier to bend the inner rolling paper 120 along a half cut or a deboss. As a result, the inner rolling paper 120 can be made of a material having a certain degree of rigidity, for example, thick paper, and the strength of the base material portion 100A can be improved.
Further, in the flavor generating article 100 shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, at least one of the plurality of second grooves 120b has a second dam portion 140 provided inside the second groove 120b. The second dam portion 140 can be formed by denting a wavy convex portion from the inner surface of the inner rolling paper 120 toward the outer surface. Further, the second dam portion 140 may be formed of, for example, any material that is difficult for air to permeate or does not allow air to permeate, and may be formed, for example, by curing an adhesive. Further, the plurality of first grooves 120a and second grooves 120b of the inner rolling paper 120 can be formed by thermoforming, and the second dam portion 140 is first when the first groove 120a and the second groove 120b are thermoformed. It can be formed by thermoforming the inner rolling paper 120 with a mold corresponding to the groove 120a, the second groove 120b, and the second dam portion 140. The second dam portion 140 is located inside the second groove 120b so as to suppress the air flow in the second groove 120b.
As shown in FIG. 8, the second dam portion 140 has an upper surface 140a and a side surface 140b. In the illustrated example, the second dam portion 140 is formed so that the angle formed by the upper surface 140a and the side surface 140b is substantially right angle, but the second dam portion 140 is not limited to this, and the corner portion formed by the upper surface 140a and the side surface 140b is not limited to this. It may be rounded so that it can be chamfered. The second dam portion 140 may have a height smaller than the depth of the second groove 120b, but as shown in FIG. 9, the second dam portion 140 has at least the same depth as the second groove 120b. It is preferable that it has a height and is configured to completely fill a part of the second groove 120b. More specifically, as shown in FIG. 9, the second dam portion 140 is preferably formed so as to connect the vertices of adjacent mountains defining the second groove 120b. As a result, the air passing through the second groove 120b can be blocked.
According to the flavor generating article 100 shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, the amount of air passing through the second groove 120b can be reduced by the second dam portion 140. As a result, it becomes difficult for air to pass through the second groove 120b, so that when the user sucks the flavor generating article 100, the amount of air passing near the center of the flavor source 111 can be increased, and the flavor source 111 can be used. The amount of flavor and / or aerosol delivery produced can be increased. Further, by arranging the second dam portion 140 in the second groove 120b, the second groove 120b is less likely to be crushed, and the strength of the base material portion 100A can be improved.
In the flavor generating article 100 shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, it is preferable that each of the plurality of second grooves 120b has at least one second dam portion 140. As a result, the strength of the base material portion 100A can be further improved, and the amount of air passing through each of the plurality of second grooves 120b can be reduced. As a result, when the user sucks the flavor generating article 100, the amount of air passing through the inside of the flavor source 111 can be further increased, and the delivery amount of the flavor and / or aerosol generated from the flavor source 111 can be increased. Can be done. In this case, it is preferable that the second dam portion 140 of each of the plurality of second grooves 120b is arranged at a position different in the longitudinal direction from the second dam portion 140 provided in the adjacent second groove 120b. As a result, each of the second dam portions 140 is dispersed and arranged in the longitudinal direction, so that the strength of the base material portion 100A in a wider range can be improved.
Further, among the second dam portions 140 of each of the plurality of second grooves 120b, the second dam portion 140 closest to the mouthpiece 100B in the longitudinal direction and the second dam portion 140 farthest from the mouthpiece 100B in the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal distance L2 (see FIG. 8) is preferably 50% or more and 90% or less of the longitudinal length of the flavor source 111. If the distance L2 is less than 50% of the length of the flavor source 111 in the longitudinal direction, the strength of the base material portion 100A in the longitudinal direction may be biased. When the distance L2 is more than 90% of the length in the longitudinal direction of the flavor source, the rod which is the raw material of the flavor generating article 100 is cut at the position including the second dam portion 140, and the second dam portion 140 is crushed. As a result, the function of the second dam portion 140 (reduction of air and improvement of the strength of the base material portion 100A) may be impaired. However, even if the second dam portion 140 is cut at the time of rod cutting, the function of the second dam portion 140 is not impaired as long as the shape of the second dam portion 140 remains in the second groove 120b. ..
In the example shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, since the gap S3 exists between the inner wrapping paper 120 and the first wrapping paper 112, when the second groove 120b extends from one end to the other end of the inner wrapping paper 120 in the longitudinal direction. The ventilation resistance of the void S3 may be smaller than the ventilation resistance of the air passing through the inside of the inner rolling paper 120, that is, the flavor source 111. In this case, when the user sucks the flavor generating article 100, a large amount of air may pass through the void S3, and the flavor or aerosol generated from the flavor source 111 may not be efficiently delivered to the user's mouth. Therefore, in the examples shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, the packed bed 116b of the hollow segment 116 shown in FIG. 4 is close to the end of the second groove 120b or closes the end of the second groove 120b. May be placed in. As a result, the amount of air passing through the second groove 120b can be reduced. As a result, when the user sucks the flavor generating article 100, the amount of air passing through the inside of the flavor source 111 can be increased, and the amount of delivery of the flavor and / or aerosol generated from the flavor source 111 can be increased. can.
FIG. 11A is a perspective view of the inner rolling paper 120 according to still another example. 11B is a side view of the inner rolling paper 120 shown in FIG. 11A as viewed from the longitudinal direction. The inner rolling paper 120 shown in FIGS. 11A and 11B is obtained by processing the sheet material forming the inner rolling paper 120 into a corrugated shape, specifically, a substantially sinusoidal shape. Therefore, the first groove 120a and the second groove 120b of the inner wrapping paper 120 shown correspond to the concave portions on the inner surface and the concave portions on the outer surface of the inner wrapping paper 120 formed in a corrugated shape, respectively. As shown in FIGS. 11A and 11B, as the inner rolling paper 120 of the present embodiment, not only the triangular corrugated paper shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 but also a substantially sinusoidal corrugated paper can be adopted. The shape of the wave is not limited to this, and any wave shape can be adopted. The inner rolling paper 120 shown in FIG. 10 can be manufactured by passing, for example, acetate paper or the like through an embossing roller (corrugated roller) to form a substantially sinusoidal mold.
In the illustrated example, the inner rolling paper 120 has a first dam portion 130 and a second dam portion 140 in the first groove 120a and the second groove 120b, respectively. The first dam portion 130 can be formed by denting a wavy convex portion from the outer surface of the inner rolling paper 120 toward the inner surface. Similarly, the second dam portion 140 can be formed by denting a wavy convex portion from the inner surface of the inner rolling paper 120 toward the outer surface. Further, the first dam portion 130 and the second dam portion 140 can be formed of, for example, any material that is difficult for air to permeate or does not allow air to permeate, and may be formed, for example, by curing an adhesive. Further, the plurality of first grooves 120a and second grooves 120b of the inner rolling paper 120 can be formed by thermoforming, and the first dam portion 130 and the second dam portion 140 are thermoformed of the first groove 120a and the second groove 120b. At this time, it can be formed by thermoforming the inner rolling paper 120 with a mold corresponding to the first groove 120a, the second groove 120b, the first dam portion 130, and the second dam portion 140.
As shown in FIGS. 11A and 11B, the inner wrapping paper 120 may have a substantially sinusoidal cross-sectional shape as a cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. When the inner rolling paper 120 has the first groove 120a and the second groove, it may have the first dam portion 130 and the second dam portion 140, and the first dam portion 130 or the second dam portion 140. You may have only one of them.
In the inner rolling paper 120 described above, the width of the first groove 120a is preferably 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less. This allows the tobacco to easily enter the first groove 120a when the tobacco is in the form of strands arranged in the longitudinal direction. If the width of the first groove 120a is less than 0.5 mm, it becomes difficult for strand-shaped tobacco to enter. As a result, the filling amount of the flavor source 111 may not be sufficiently reduced, or it may be difficult to sufficiently secure the strength of the base material portion 100A. Further, when the width of the first groove 120a is more than 2.0 mm, the width of the first groove 120a is too large, and the strength of the base material portion 100A is higher than that in the case where the width of the first groove 120a is in the above range. There is a risk of deterioration. The width of the second groove 120b may be the same as the width of the first groove 120a.
Further, in the inner rolling paper 120 described above, the depth of the first groove 120a is preferably 0.1 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less. This allows the tobacco to easily enter the first groove 120a when the tobacco is in the form of strands arranged in the longitudinal direction. If the depth of the first groove 120a is less than 0.1 mm, it becomes difficult for strand-shaped tobacco to enter. As a result, the filling amount of the flavor source 111 may not be sufficiently reduced, or it may be difficult to sufficiently secure the strength of the base material portion 100A. Further, when the width of the first groove 120a is more than 2.0 mm, the depth of the first groove 120a is too large, and the depth of the first groove 120a of the base material portion 100A is higher than that in the above range. The strength may decrease. The depth of the second groove 120b may be the same as the depth of the first groove 120a.
In the flavor source 111 described above, the width in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the strand-shaped tobacco is preferably 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less. This allows the strand-shaped tobacco to easily enter the first groove 120a having an appropriate width and depth.
Further, in the flavor source 111 described above, the thickness in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the strand-shaped tobacco is preferably 0.1 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less. This allows the strand-shaped tobacco to easily enter the first groove 120a having an appropriate width and depth.
In the flavor generating article 100 described above, when the flavor source 111 is wrapped with the inner rolling paper 120, it is preferable that one end and the other end of the inner rolling paper 120 do not overlap. In other words, it is preferable that the inner rolling paper 120 winds the flavor source 111 so that one end and the other end of the inner rolling paper 120 are substantially in contact with each other or have a slight gap between the one end and the other end. As a result, it is possible to prevent the cross-sectional shape of the base material portion 100A from being distorted due to the overlap between one end and the other end of the inner rolling paper 120. When the first wrapping paper 112 winds the outer circumference of the inner wrapping paper 120, one end and the other end of the first wrapping paper 112 overlap each other, and the one end and the other end are adhered with an adhesive or the like. obtain.
