 本発明は、表示制御装置、表示制御方法および表示制御プログラムに関する。
 従来、既存システムのアプリケーションに手を加えずに、操作画面上に拡張UI(User Interface)を表示して、アプリケーションのユーザが必要とする情報を表示するUI拡張技術が知られている。例えば、UI拡張表示を行う業務シーンと、業務シーンごとの表示ルールを定義することにより、業務シーンの変化に応じて適切にUI拡張表示を更新する技術が知られている(特許文献1参照)。

 しかしながら、従来のアノテーション技術では、個々のユーザの状況に適したアノテーションを表示することが困難であった。例えば、ユーザのスキルレベルや業務内容等の状況が多岐にわたるため、業務シーンごとの画一的な表示ルールでは、個々のユーザの状況に適したアノテーションを表示することが困難であった。
 本発明は、上記に鑑みてなされたものであって、個々のユーザの状況に適したアノテーション表示を行うことを目的とする。
 上述した課題を解決し、目的を達成するために、本発明に係る表示制御装置は、所定のアプリケーションを構成するGUI部品のUI拡張部品のユーザの使用頻度と、該UI拡張部品の動作の対象GUI部品である連携部品の該ユーザの使用頻度とを取得する取得部と、前記UI拡張部品の使用頻度と、前記連携部品の使用頻度を用いて算出した該UI拡張部品の活用頻度とに基づいて、前記ユーザに対して該UI拡張部品の表示を行うか否かを判定する判定部と、を有することを特徴とする。

[表示制御装置の構成]
 図1は、表示制御装置10の概略構成を例示する模式図である。図2に例示するように、本実施形態の表示制御装置10は、ワークステーションやパソコン等の汎用コンピュータで実現され、入力部11、出力部12、通信制御部13、記憶部14、および制御部15を備える。

 本実施形態において、記憶部14には、例えば、後述する表示制御処理の対象のUI拡張部品に関する情報が記録されている。UI拡張部品に関する情報とは、例えば、UI拡張部品をどのようにアノテーション表示として表示するかに関する情報や、UI拡張部品に対応するGUI部品を特定する情報や、UI拡張部品の動作設定や、動作対象のGUI部品である連携部品を特定する情報等である。
 ここで、連携部品とは、UI拡張部品の動作の対象GUI部品である。つまり、連携部品とは、例えば、チェックボックスや選択入力等の入力を受け付けるUI拡張部品に対して、入力があれば所定のGUI部品への入力を行うという動作設定が行われている場合における、入力対象のGUI部品のことである。あるいは、連携部品とは、UI拡張部品に対して、複数の所定のGUI部品への入力を一括して行うという動作設定が行われている場合における、入力対象の複数のGUI部品のことである。このように、連携部品への制御を行うように、UI拡張部品に対して予め動作設定が行われている。
 図2は、UI拡張部品を説明するための図である。図2に示す例では、太枠で囲んで示すUI拡張部品が画面上のGUI部品に重畳して表示されている。ユーザは、チェックボックスや選択入力等のUI拡張部品を用いて、GUI部品に対する入力を容易に行うことが可能となる。例えば、図2に示す例では、「担当者情報投入」を押下することにより、担当者情報の各行の情報が一括して入力される。
 一方、ユーザは、UI拡張部品を用いずに、直接連携部品に入力することも可能である。例えば、図2に示す例では、担当者情報の各行の情報をユーザが直接入力することが可能である。
 図1の説明に戻る。制御部15は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)等で実現され、メモリに記憶された処理プログラムを実行し、図1に示すように、取得部15a、判定部15bおよび表示制御部15cとして機能する。なお、これらの機能部は、それぞれ、あるいは一部が異なるハードウェアに実装されてもよい。例えば、取得部15aは、判定部15bおよび表示制御部15cとは異なるハードウェアに実装されてもよい。また、制御部15は、他の機能部を有してもよい。
 取得部15aは、所定のアプリケーションを構成するGUI部品のUI拡張部品のユーザの使用頻度と、該UI拡張部品の動作の対象GUI部品である連携部品の該ユーザの使用頻度とを取得する。具体的には、取得部15aは、ユーザが操作する端末から、あるいは、ユーザの操作ログを管理する管理装置から、ユーザによる過去の所定のアプリケーションを構成するGUI部品のUI拡張部品の使用頻度と、該UI拡張部品の連携部品の使用頻度とを取得する。
 例えば、取得部15aは、UI拡張部品に対して押下等の入力があった回数を使用回数として、所定の時間における使用頻度を取得する。UI拡張部品の使用頻度は、例えば、所定の時間における該UI拡張部品の使用回数である。または、UI拡張部品の使用頻度は、全UI拡張部品の使用回数が所定回数である場合における、該UI拡張部品の使用回数の割合でもよい。
 また、取得部15aは、連携部品に対して直接入力があった回数を使用回数として、所定の時間における使用頻度を取得する。連携部品の使用頻度は、例えば、所定の期間における該連携部品の使用回数である。または、連携部品の使用頻度は、全連携部品の使用回数が所定回数である場合における、該連携部品の使用回数の割合でもよい。
 取得部15aは、例えば、直近の24時間等の所定の期間をモニタリング時間Tとして、アプリケーションを操作するユーザごとに、モニタリング時間Tにユーザが使用したi個のUI拡張部品それぞれの使用回数Niと、当該UI拡張部品のj個の連携部品のそれぞれの使用回数Rijとを取得する。また、取得部15aは、取得した情報を用いて、各UI拡張部品の使用頻度と各連携部品の使用頻度とを算出する。
 取得部15aは、取得したUI拡張部品の使用回数および連携部品の使用回数、または算出したUI拡張部品の使用頻度および連携部品の使用頻度を、記憶部14に記憶してもよい。
 判定部15bは、ユーザによるUI拡張部品の使用頻度と、連携部品の使用頻度を用いて算出した該UI拡張部品の活用頻度とに基づいて、このユーザに対してこのUI拡張部品の表示を行うか否かを判定する。
 具体的には、判定部15bは、ユーザによる連携部品の使用頻度が高い場合には、対応するUI拡張部品が有効に活用されていないものとして、連携部品の使用頻度を、UI拡張部品の負の活用頻度として用いる。そして、判定部15bは、ユーザに対するUI拡張部品の使用頻度と活用頻度とを用いて、このユーザに対してUI拡張部品の表示を行うか否かを判定する。
 例えば、判定部15bは、UI拡張部品の使用頻度の関数値と該UI拡張部品の活用頻度の関数値とを加算して表示制御値Diを算出する。具体的には、判定部15bは、次式(1)に示すように、各UI拡張部品について、UI拡張部品の使用頻度の関数値から当該UI拡張部品の連携部品の使用頻度の関数値を減算して表示制御値Diを算出する。

 上記式(1)において、第1項の関数fは、UI拡張部品の使用頻度の関数である。また、第2項の関数gは連携部品の関数であり、関数gに-(マイナス)を掛けた関数が、UI拡張部品の活用頻度の関数である。つまり、判定部15bは、UI拡張部品の使用頻度の正の関数値と該UI拡張部品の活用頻度の負の関数値とを加算して表示制御値Diを算出する。
 判定部15bは、算出した表示制御値Diが所定の閾値K以上である場合に、このUI拡張部品の表示を行うと判定する。また、判定部15bは、表示制御値Diが所定の閾値K未満である場合に、UI拡張部品の表示を行わないと判定する。あるいは、判定部15bは、例えば閾値K=0として、DiがKより大きい場合に、UI拡張部品の表示を行うと判定し、DiがK以下である場合に、UI拡張部品の表示を行わないと判定してもよい。
 表示制御部15cは、判定部15bが表示を行うと判定したUI拡張部品を、ユーザに対して表示する。例えば、表示制御部15cは、通信制御部13を介して、ユーザが操作する端末の画面上に表示されたGUI部品に重畳して、UI拡張部品を表示する。
 このように、表示制御装置10は、過去のUI拡張部品の使用頻度、活用頻度が高いユーザにのみ、UI拡張部品を表示する。これにより、表示制御装置10は、個々のユーザの状況に適したアノテーション表示を行うことが可能となる。
[表示制御処理]
 次に、図3は、表示制御処理手順を例示するフローチャートである。図3のフローチャートは、例えば、表示制御処理の開始を指示する入力があったタイミングで開始される。
 まず、取得部15aは、所定のアプリケーションを構成するGUI部品のUI拡張部品のユーザの使用頻度と、該UI拡張部品の動作の対象GUI部品である連携部品の該ユーザの使用頻度とを取得する(ステップS1)。例えば、取得部15aは、直近の24時間をモニタリング時間Tとして、アプリケーションを操作するユーザごとに、モニタリング時間Tにユーザが使用したi個のUI拡張部品それぞれの使用回数Niと、当該UI拡張部品のj個の連携部品のそれぞれの使用回数Rijとを取得する。また、取得部15aは、取得した情報を用いて、各UI拡張部品の使用頻度と各連携部品の使用頻度とを算出する。
 次に、判定部15bが、ユーザによるUI拡張部品の使用頻度と、連携部品の使用頻度を用いて算出した該UI拡張部品の活用頻度とを用いて、表示制御値Diを算出する(ステップS2)。
 また、判定部15bは、算出した表示制御値Diに基づいて、このユーザに対してこのUI拡張部品の表示を行うか否かを判定する(ステップS3)。例えば、判定部15bは、算出した表示制御値Diが所定の閾値K以上である場合に、このUI拡張部品の表示を行うと判定する。また、判定部15bは、表示制御値Diが所定の閾値K未満である場合に、UI拡張部品の表示を行わないと判定する。
 判定部15bが表示を行うと判定した場合に(ステップS4、Yes)、表示制御部15cは、このUI拡張部品をユーザが操作する端末の画面上に表示する(ステップS5)。一方、判定部15bは、表示を行わないと判定した場合に(ステップS4、No)、ステップS6に処理を進める。
 そして、判定部15bは、全てのUI拡張部品について表示するか否かの判定を行っていない場合に(ステップS6、No)、ステップS2に処理を戻し、他のUI拡張部品について同様に表示するか否かの判定を行う。
 一方、判定部15bは、全てのUI拡張部品について表示を行うか否かの判定を行った場合に(ステップS6、Yes)、一連の表示制御処理を終了する。
 以上、説明したように、本実施形態の表示制御装置10では、取得部15aが、所定のアプリケーションを構成するGUI部品のUI拡張部品のユーザの使用頻度と、該UI拡張部品の動作の対象GUI部品である連携部品の該ユーザの使用頻度とを取得する。また、判定部15bが、ユーザのUI拡張部品の使用頻度と、連携部品の使用頻度を用いて算出した該UI拡張部品の活用頻度とに基づいて、ユーザに対して該UI拡張部品の表示を行うか否かを判定する。
 このように、表示制御装置10は、各ユーザによる過去のUI拡張部品の出現頻度と活用頻度とを用いて、ユーザごとにこのUI拡張部品の表示を行うか否かを判定する。これにより、表示制御装置は、個々のユーザの状況に適したアノテーション表示を行うことが可能となる。
 また、判定部15bは、UI拡張部品の使用頻度の正の関数値と該UI拡張部品の活用頻度の負の関数値とを加算した値が所定の閾値以上である場合に、UI拡張部品の表示を行うと判定する。すなわち、判定部15bは、UI拡張部品の使用頻度の関数値から連携部品の使用頻度の関数値を減算した値が所定の閾値以上である場合に、UI拡張部品の表示を行うと判定する。このように、表示制御装置10は、連携部品の使用頻度が高い場合には、対応するUI拡張部品の活用頻度が低いものと判定して、UI拡張部品の表示を行わないと判定することができる。
[プログラム]
 上記実施形態に係る表示制御装置10が実行する処理をコンピュータが実行可能な言語で記述したプログラムを作成することもできる。一実施形態として、表示制御装置10は、パッケージソフトウェアやオンラインソフトウェアとして上記の表示制御処理を実行する表示制御プログラムを所望のコンピュータにインストールさせることによって実装できる。例えば、上記の表示制御プログラムを情報処理装置に実行させることにより、情報処理装置を表示制御装置10として機能させることができる。ここで言う情報処理装置には、デスクトップ型またはノート型のパーソナルコンピュータが含まれる。また、その他にも、情報処理装置にはスマートフォン、携帯電話機やPHS(Personal Handyphone System)等の移動体通信端末、さらには、PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)等のスレート端末等がその範疇に含まれる。
 また、表示制御装置10は、ユーザが使用する端末装置をクライアントとし、当該クライアントに上記の表示制御処理に関するサービスを提供するサーバ装置として実装することもできる。例えば、表示制御装置10は、Webページを入力とし、付加情報の表示を出力する表示制御処理サービスを提供するサーバ装置として実装される。この場合、表示制御装置10は、Webサーバとして実装することとしてもよいし、アウトソーシングによって上記の表示制御処理に関するサービスを提供するクラウドとして実装することとしてもかまわない。以下に、表示制御装置10と同様の機能を実現する表示制御プログラムを実行するコンピュータの一例を説明する。
 図4は、表示制御プログラムを実行するコンピュータの一例を示す図である。コンピュータ1000は、例えば、メモリ1010と、CPU1020と、ハードディスクドライブインタフェース1030と、ディスクドライブインタフェース1040と、シリアルポートインタフェース1050と、ビデオアダプタ1060と、ネットワークインタフェース1070とを有する。これらの各部は、バス1080によって接続される。
 メモリ1010は、ROM(Read Only Memory)1011およびRAM1012を含む。ROM1011は、例えば、BIOS(Basic Input Output System)等のブートプログラムを記憶する。ハードディスクドライブインタフェース1030は、ハードディスクドライブ1031に接続される。ディスクドライブインタフェース1040は、ディスクドライブ1041に接続される。ディスクドライブ1041には、例えば、磁気ディスクや光ディスク等の着脱可能な記憶媒体が挿入される。シリアルポートインタフェース1050には、例えば、マウス1051およびキーボード1052が接続される。ビデオアダプタ1060には、例えば、ディスプレイ1061が接続される。
 ここで、ハードディスクドライブ1031は、例えば、OS1091、アプリケーションプログラム1092、プログラムモジュール1093およびプログラムデータ1094を記憶する。上記実施形態で説明した各情報は、例えばハードディスクドライブ1031やメモリ1010に記憶される。
 また、表示制御プログラムは、例えば、コンピュータ1000によって実行される指令が記述されたプログラムモジュール1093として、ハードディスクドライブ1031に記憶される。具体的には、上記実施形態で説明した表示制御装置10が実行する各処理が記述されたプログラムモジュール1093が、ハードディスクドライブ1031に記憶される。
 また、表示制御プログラムによる情報処理に用いられるデータは、プログラムデータ1094として、例えば、ハードディスクドライブ1031に記憶される。そして、CPU1020が、ハードディスクドライブ1031に記憶されたプログラムモジュール1093やプログラムデータ1094を必要に応じてRAM1012に読み出して、上述した各手順を実行する。
 なお、表示制御プログラムに係るプログラムモジュール1093やプログラムデータ1094は、ハードディスクドライブ1031に記憶される場合に限られず、例えば、着脱可能な記憶媒体に記憶されて、ディスクドライブ1041等を介してCPU1020によって読み出されてもよい。あるいは、表示制御プログラムに係るプログラムモジュール1093やプログラムデータ1094は、LAN(Local Area Network)やWAN(Wide Area Network)等のネットワークを介して接続された他のコンピュータに記憶され、ネットワークインタフェース1070を介してCPU1020によって読み出されてもよい。
 以上、本発明者によってなされた発明を適用した実施形態について説明したが、本実施形態による本発明の開示の一部をなす記述および図面により本発明は限定されることはない。すなわち、本実施形態に基づいて当業者等によりなされる他の実施形態、実施例および運用技術等は全て本発明の範疇に含まれる。

Claims (8)

  1.  所定のアプリケーションを構成するGUI部品のUI拡張部品のユーザの使用頻度と、該UI拡張部品の動作の対象GUI部品である連携部品の該ユーザの使用頻度とを取得する取得部と、
     前記UI拡張部品の使用頻度と、前記連携部品の使用頻度を用いて算出した該UI拡張部品の活用頻度とに基づいて、前記ユーザに対して該UI拡張部品の表示を行うか否かを判定する判定部と、
     を有することを特徴とする表示制御装置。
  2.  前記判定部は、前記UI拡張部品の使用頻度の正の関数値と該UI拡張部品の活用頻度の負の関数値とを加算した値が所定の閾値以上である場合に、前記UI拡張部品の表示を行うと判定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示制御装置。
  3.  前記UI拡張部品の使用頻度は、所定の期間における該UI拡張部品の使用回数であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示制御装置。
  4.  前記UI拡張部品の使用頻度は、全UI拡張部品の使用回数が所定回数である場合における、該UI拡張部品の使用回数の割合であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示制御装置。
  5.  前記連携部品の使用頻度は、所定の期間における該連携部品の使用回数であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示制御装置。
  6.  前記連携部品の使用頻度は、全連携部品の使用回数が所定回数である場合における、該連携部品の使用回数の割合であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示制御装置。
  7.  表示制御装置が実行する表示制御方法であって、
     所定のアプリケーションを構成するGUI部品のUI拡張部品のユーザの使用頻度と、該UI拡張部品の動作の対象GUI部品である連携部品の該ユーザの使用頻度とを取得する取得工程と、
     前記UI拡張部品の使用頻度と、前記連携部品の使用頻度を用いて算出した該UI拡張部品の活用頻度とに基づいて、前記ユーザに対して該UI拡張部品の表示を行うか否かを判定する工程と、
     を含んだことを特徴とする表示制御方法。
  8.  所定のアプリケーションを構成するGUI部品のUI拡張部品のユーザの使用頻度と、該UI拡張部品の動作の対象GUI部品である連携部品の該ユーザの使用頻度とを取得する取得ステップと、
     前記UI拡張部品の使用頻度と、前記連携部品の使用頻度を用いて算出した該UI拡張部品の活用頻度とに基づいて、前記ユーザに対して該UI拡張部品の表示を行うか否かを判定するステップと、
     をコンピュータに実行させるための表示制御プログラム。
