The design panel 10 includes a design surface 11, an opening 12, an inner wall portion 13, and a protrusion portion 14.
The design panel 10 is made of, for example, resin.
The design surface 11 is the surface of the design panel 10 and constitutes the design in the electronic device 1. The design surface 11 is a case where the design surface 11 is viewed in the direction of the arrow shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in a state where the display component 20 is assembled so that the front surface of the display surface portion 21 is exposed from the opening of the design panel 10. , Arranged around the display surface portion 21 of the display component 20.
The design surface 11 has a first edge portion 11a, and the back surface of the design panel 10 with respect to the design surface 11 has a second edge portion 11b.
The first edge portion 11a is an edge portion at the boundary between the design surface 11 and the opening 12 in the design panel 10.
The second edge portion 11b is an edge portion at the boundary between the back surface and the opening 12 in the design panel 10.
The opening 12 is a portion of the design panel 10 that penetrates from the design surface 11 to the back surface.
The inner wall portion 13 connects the design surface 11 and the back surface at the opening 12 of the design panel 10.
Specifically, the inner wall portion 13 has a first inclined portion 13a and a second inclined portion 13b on a surface connecting the first edge portion 11a to the second edge portion 11b.
The first inclined portion 13a and the second inclined portion 13b each have a draft amount for pulling out the respective molds when molding the design panel 10 using, for example, a mold set in which two molds are combined. It is only tilted. Further, as will be described later, the boundary between the first inclined portion 13a and the second inclined portion coincides with the mold mating surface in the mold set.
The first inclined portion 13a is a portion that is inclined in a direction opposite to the direction in which the protruding portion 14 protrudes from the intermediate region between the design surface 11 and the back surface toward the design surface 11. In other words, the first inclined portion 13a is inclined so that the cross-sectional area of the opening 12 becomes wider from the intermediate region from the first edge portion 11a to the second edge portion 11b toward the first edge portion 11a.
As shown in FIGS. 4B and 4C, for example, the first inclined portion 13a has a protruding portion 14 from an exact intermediate point between the design surface 11 and the back surface toward the first edge portion 11a on the design surface 11 side. Tilt in the direction opposite to the direction in which it protrudes.
The second inclined portion 13b is a portion that is inclined in a direction opposite to the direction in which the protruding portion 14 protrudes from the intermediate region between the design surface 11 and the back surface toward the back surface. In other words, the second inclined portion 13b is inclined so that the cross-sectional area of the opening 12 becomes wider from the intermediate region from the first edge portion 11a to the second edge portion 11b toward the second edge portion 11b.
As shown in FIG. 4C, for example, the second inclined portion 13b has a direction in which the protruding portion 14 protrudes from the exact middle point between the design surface 11 and the back surface toward the second edge portion 11b on the back surface side. Tilt in the opposite direction.
The inner wall portion 13 faces the side surface 22 of the display surface portion 21 in a state of being assembled so as to expose the surface of the display surface portion 21 of the display component 20 from the opening 12 of the design panel 10. As shown in FIG. 1, when the display surface portion 21 is viewed on the surface (in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 1) and has a square shape, the inner wall portion 13 has four corner portions.
The protrusion 14 projects from the inner wall 13 in the intermediate region between the design surface 11 and the back surface of the design panel 10.
Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 4B and 4C, for example, the protrusion 14 is continuous from the midpoint between the design surface 11 and the back surface of the design panel 10 to the back surface, and has a second inclination in the inner wall portion 13. It protrudes from the portion 13b.
A plurality of protrusions 14 are provided on the inner wall portion 13. The protrusions 14 are provided at each of the four corners of the inner wall portion 13, for example, as shown in FIG.
In a state where the display component 20 is assembled so that the surface of the display surface portion 21 is exposed from the opening 12 of the design panel 10, the plurality of protrusions 14 support the side surface 22 of the display component 20.
When the electronic device 1 is a liquid crystal display module with a touch panel, the plurality of protrusions 14 support the side surface of the cover glass on the side surface 22 of the display component 20.
Further, when the electronic device 1 is a liquid crystal display module with a touch panel, the plurality of protrusions 14 are linear or display parallel to the direction in which the side surface 22 slightly moves when the touch panel is operated on the display component 20. It has a shape that supports the side surface 22 of the component 20 at a point. When the display component 20 is pressed, the electronic device 1 slides while the display component 20 is in linear contact with the protrusion 14 or is in contact with the point. As a result, the electronic device 1 can suppress the generation of abnormal noise when the display component 20 slides, as compared with the case where the display component 20 is supported by a surface.
The above-mentioned intermediate region from the first edge portion 11a to the second edge portion 11b includes an intermediate point from the first edge portion 11a to the second edge portion 11b, and includes the first edge portion 11a and the first edge portion 11b. The range does not include the two edge portions 11b. The boundary between the first inclined portion 13a and the second inclined portion 13b is appropriately set within the above range according to the design desired in the electronic device 1.
Further, the protrusion 14 may have the shape shown in FIG. 5A or FIG. 5B. The shape shown in FIG. 5A is such that the second edge portion 11b side of the protrusion portion 14 is chamfered (for example, a curved surface shape). In this case, the following effects can be obtained. That is, when the display component 20 is assembled from the opening 12 of the design panel 10 so that the surface of the display surface portion 21 is exposed, the protrusion 14 guides the display component 20, so that the assembly property is good. The shape shown in FIG. 5B is a shape that protrudes halfway from the intermediate region between the design surface 11 and the back surface of the design panel 10 to the back surface with respect to the design surface 11.
Further, the number of the protrusions 14 and the positions where the protrusions 14 are provided are not limited to those shown in the drawings, and are appropriately set to any number and positions on the inner wall portion 13. For example, eight protrusions 14 may be provided in total, two each on the upper, lower, left, and right sides of the inner wall portion 13.
Further, in FIGS. 4B, 4C, 5A, and 5B, the boundary between the first inclined portion 13a and the second inclined portion 13b in the inner wall portion 13 coincides with the point where the protrusion starts in the protrusion portion 14. Is shown, but is not limited to this. That is, the boundary between the first inclined portion 13a and the second inclined portion 13b on the inner wall portion 13 and the point at which the protrusion starts on the protruding portion 14 do not have to coincide with each other. For example, when the boundary between the first inclined portion 13a and the second inclined portion 13b in the inner wall portion 13 is closer to the first edge portion than the intermediate point from the first edge portion 11a to the second edge portion 11b, the protrusion portion. The point at which the protrusion starts at 14 may be closer to the second edge portion than the intermediate point from the first edge portion 11a to the second edge portion 11b. The reverse may also be true.

9A is an enlarged view of the region surrounded by the GHIJ line in FIG. 8, and FIG. 9B is a cross-sectional view taken along the line KK in FIG. 9A.
FIG. 10 is a partially enlarged view of a reference example to be compared for explaining the effect of the electronic device shown in FIG.
11A is an enlarged view of the region surrounded by the G'-H'-I'-J'line in FIG. 10, and FIG. 11B is a cross-sectional view taken along the line K'-K'in FIG. 11A.
The design panel 1010 of the reference example does not partially adopt this disclosure.
The inner wall inclined portion 1013 in the design panel 1010 is different from the first inclined portion 13a and the second inclined portion 13b of the present disclosure in that the inner wall inclined portion 1013 has the same inclination from the first edge portion 1011a to the second edge portion 1011b.
The design panel 10 and the design panel 1010 are compared.
In the design panel 1010, when the design surface 1011 is viewed from the front, the distance α2 between the first edge portion 1011a and the display surface portion 21 becomes conspicuous widely.
Further, in the design panel 1010, the portion β2 of the protrusion 1014 that can be seen when the design surface 1011 is viewed is large, and the shape of the surface of the protrusion 1014 becomes conspicuous as shown in FIG. 11A.
Further, the design panel 1010 has a wide interval α2, and external light easily enters between the first edge portion 1011a and the display surface portion 21. Therefore, in particular, when the design surface 1011 is viewed at an angle, a part of the side surface of the protrusion 1014 (the surface of the protrusion 1014 shown in FIG. 11B) becomes easy to see.
On the other hand, in the design panel 10, when the design surface 11 is viewed from the front, the distance α1 between the first edge portion 11a and the display surface portion 21 in the display component 20 is narrow and inconspicuous.
Further, in the design panel 10, the portion β1 of the protrusion 14 that can be seen when the design surface 11 is viewed is small, and as shown in FIG. 9A, the shape of the front surface of the protrusion 14 is inconspicuous.
Further, in the design panel 10, the interval α1 is narrow, it is difficult for external light to enter between the first edge portion 11a and the display surface portion 21, and the second inclined portion 13b cannot be seen when the design surface 11 is viewed. Therefore, even when the design surface 11 is viewed at an angle, the side surface of the protrusion 14 protruding from the second inclined portion 13b (the surface of the protrusion 14 shown in FIG. 9B) is difficult to see.
Therefore, by using the design panel 10 for the electronic device 1, the design property of the electronic device 1 is improved.
In the above embodiment 1, the design surface, the opening penetrating from the design surface to the back surface to the design surface, the inner wall portion connecting the design surface and the back surface at the opening, and the inner wall portion in the intermediate region between the design surface and the back surface. The inner wall portion is provided with a first inclined portion that is inclined in a direction opposite to the direction in which the protrusion protrudes from the intermediate region between the design surface and the back surface toward the design surface. The design panel was configured to have a second inclined portion that inclines in a direction opposite to the direction in which the protrusion protrudes from the intermediate region between the design surface and the back surface toward the back surface.
This provides a design panel in which the gap between the display component and the display component is small when the design surface side of the design panel is viewed in a state where the display surface of the display component is exposed from the opening of the design panel.
Further, in the above-mentioned design panel, the first inclined portion is inclined in the direction opposite to the direction in which the protrusion is projected from the midpoint between the design surface and the back surface toward the design surface, and the second inclined portion is From the midpoint between the design surface and the back surface toward the back surface, the protrusion is inclined in the direction opposite to the projecting direction.
As a result, the protruding portion in the second inclined portion can reach from the midpoint between the design surface and the back surface to the back surface. Therefore, the design panel is in a state where the display surface of the display component is exposed from the opening of the design panel. When looking at the design surface side of the above, the gap between the design panel and the display component is small, and the strength of the protrusion on the design panel is guaranteed.
Further, in the above-mentioned design panel, the protruding portion is continuous from the intermediate region between the design surface and the back surface to the design surface and protrudes from the second inclined portion in the inner wall portion.
As a result, when the display surface of the display component is exposed from the opening of the design panel and the design surface side of the design panel is viewed, the gap between the design panel and the display component is small, and the protrusion of the design panel Strength is guaranteed.
Further, an electronic device including the above-mentioned design panel and a display component having a display surface and assembled so that the display surface of the display component is exposed from the opening of the design panel is configured.

Further, in the electronic device, the display component is a liquid crystal display module with a cover glass, and the side surface of the cover glass and the inner wall surface of the design panel are configured to face each other.
This makes it possible to provide an electronic device using a liquid crystal display module with a cover glass that exhibits the above effects.
Further, in the electronic device, when the display surface is pressed, the display component slides while linearly contacting the protrusion, or slides while contacting at a point, for example, like a liquid crystal display module with a touch panel. It works.
As a result, the side surface of the sliding display component is supported by the protrusions linearly or at a point, so that it is possible to suppress abnormal noise when pressed during operation as compared with the case where the sliding display component is supported by the surface. ..
Further, in the method for manufacturing the design panel, the design panel is molded by using a mold set in which the boundary between the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion is a mold mating surface.
This provides a method for manufacturing a design panel in which the gap between the display component and the display component is small when the design surface side of the design panel is viewed in a state where the display surface of the display component is exposed from the opening of the design panel.
