Description
BLOCK ADDITIONAL DEVICE FOR POWER DISTRIBUTION LINES
Technical Field
The invention relates to a block additional device that provides the connection of the parts used to transmit electricity from one busbar channel to another busbar channel in electrical distribution systems by performing a single operation.
Background of the Invention
Today, modular compact conductors called busbars are used in energy distribution systems. Each conductor, called busbar, is more preferred because it has high current carrying properties.
Energy continuity is essential in a functioning energy distribution system. The mentioned busbar lines consist of more than one module. By adding these modules end-to-end, energy distribution line installation is carried out.
Electric distribution and transportation systems, known as busbars, have a modular structure. Each busbar module is added end-to-end according to the route of the electric line, forming the electric transmission line. Modules are connected to each other by means of apparatus called additional modules.
The busbar additional module connects the conductive bars in the busbar modules to each other electrically and mechanically and ensures the continuation of the line.
In current applications, it is necessary to use connectors for each conductor. This process creates problems in terms of both workmanship and materials.
The probability of personnel to make mistakes is higher because too many parts are dealt with and the assembly of the parts is not guaranteed.
In current applications, transition resistances are higher as there are more connection points. This brings about current losses.
In addition, it is necessary to use more than one equipment in order to carry out the mentioned joining process. This not only increases the installation costs, but also significantly increases the installation time.
Especially when it is desired to mount separate conductors in the same plane on both sides of the said additional connection piece, two separate tightening operations are required. Assembling both conductors brings with it the necessity of using separate parts. This significantly increases the installation costs.
In current applications, multi-layer jointing add-on modules are used. However, there is 1 pole in each layer. In other words, different poles such as phase L1 at the top, L2 at the bottom, L3 at the bottom floor, then N neutral, then PE ground conductor are distributed and tightened to each layer. This extends the assembly time.
In the Chinese patent application number CN106299751 in the literature, “The invention provides a connection device applied to insulation tube type busbar ends. The device comprises a ferrule which is arranged between the insulation tube type busbar ends and is used for satisfying the electrical property of the joint of the insulation tube type busbar ends, a pressing plate device which is arranged between the insulation tube type busbar ends and hoops two insulation tube type busbar ends in a plane-to-plane contact manner, or a tube-expansion device which elastically hoops two insulation tube type busbar ends. Through the ferrule, insulation and electric shielding of the joint of the insulation tube type busbar ends are realized. Through the pressing plate device, plane-to-plane connection of the insulation tube type busbar ends is realized, and the contact area is increased. Through the tubeexpansion device, interference connection of the insulation tube type busbar ends is realized, and the relative contact pressure is increased. Crushing, built-in connection and external connection are avoided. The connection performance requirement of the insulation tube type busbar ends is met.” statements are included.
In the mentioned application, an isolation device is disclosed which is attached to the conductor busbar ends in an additional connection device for busbars.
Again in the literature, in the Chinese patent application numbered CN204118632, " A bus trunk line bending unit joint connector can change directions when a bus trunk line unit is installed, and is formed in a method of tapping holes on a joint insulation plate, a joint connection copper bar and a joint steel clamp plate in a right angled isosceles triangle arrangement, wherein a joint connection copper bar current carrying section is ensued to allow temperature rise to pass. Two right angle sides of the right angled isosceles triangle form a direction in which the bus trunk line unit is plugged in a right angle; a penetration bolt is used, and a disc spring pad pressure plate, a disc spring pad and the joint steel clamp plate can tightly press and fix the joint connection copper bar with a busbar of the bus trunk line unit.” statements are included.
In the mentioned application, the common connector assembly used at the bending points of the busbar units is explained.
Again in the literature, in the US patent application numbered US3376377A, "The invention relates to the assembly of a large number of relatively wide thin flat busbars supported in an elongated sheet metal enclosure. In the mentioned assembly process, cavities were created at the end points of all busbar modules positioned on top of the additional connection apparatus. The purpose of these cavities is to accommodate the screw that secures the additional module.” statements are included.
In the mentioned application, the busbar system that provides electrical and mechanical connection with each other by means of a screw by creating cavities at the end points of the busbar modules is explained.
For the reasons mentioned above, there was a need for a new block additional device for the energy distribution lines.
