Abstract
The invention relates to means for protecting a steering wheel of a vehicle and can be used by a car owner for the purpose of improved operating characteristics. A casing is made from a dense material and constitutes a copy of a rim of a steering wheel, said casing having a slot on the reverse side around the entire circumference for allowing penetration onto the rim surface of the steering wheel. The casing has: a large number of perpendicular slots on the outer face for simplifying installation; one or two slots for fixing in the region of the spokes; and lugs in places where the thumbs correctly hold the steering wheel. The technical result consists in creating a casing for a steering wheel of a vehicle which is easy to install and protects the surface of said steering wheel as much as possible from wear and tear.
