The invention relates to a means of protecting a vehicle and can be used by car owners to improve the performance of the vehicle.

From the prior art, a braid for an automobile steering wheel is known, including a protector, leather, a relief surface, characterized in that the protector and the leather located on top of it are applied to the steering wheel, forming a two-layer tube around it, and cover the junction of the steering wheel with the bracket of the automobile steering wheel, in this case, the protector and the leather located on top of it are fixed with tension by the fishing line by a turn around the entire steering wheel with the formation of a relief surface (Patent for PM №: 71954 class IPC: B62D 15/00, published on 03/27/2008).

The design of the known devices does not provide either quick installation or maximum protection of the steering wheel rim surfaces from wear.

Every motorist cares about the longest possible preservation of the elements of his car. This applies both to the body and chassis components and to the interior details. One of the parts that is most commonly subjected to mechanical stress by the owner is the steering wheel rim. On the market there are steering wheel covers and steering wheel covers made of dense fabrics. But, as mentioned above, this solution does not allow to maximally protect the steering wheel rim from abrasion, or to mount it without applying sufficient effort and time.

The object of the invention is to provide an easily assembled protective casing that maximally protects the visible contact areas of the driver's hands with the steering wheel rim from wear.

This task is achieved by the fact that the casing, developed for a specific model of rudders, is made of dense flexible material (abs-plastic, polypropylene, polyethylene, etc.). The casing is a replica of the steering wheel rim with a slot on the reverse side around the entire circumference of the circumference to provide penetration to the surface of the steering wheel rim, which, in turn, has a large number of perpendicular slots on the outside for ease of installation and one or two slots for fixing in spokes, as well as tides in places where the steering wheel is correctly held with the thumbs.

To install the casing of the rim of the steering wheel-1, it is necessary to bring the casing-1 to the rim of the steering wheel-4 so that the tides-2 and the slot-5 coincide with the steering wheel spokes corresponding to their location. Then it is necessary to press on one of the sections of the casing-1. Due to the rounded shape of the rim of the steering wheel-4, the flexibility of the casing-1 and the presence of slots-3, the sections of the casing-1 exposed to pressure will begin to move apart. After the spread edges of the casing-1 pass the widest section of the rim of the steering wheel-4, they begin to close. A similar procedure must be carried out around the entire circumference of the rim of the steering wheel-4. Ultimately, the entire casing-1 will be closed on the surface of the rim of the steering wheel-4. To remove the cover, follow the described procedure in reverse order.
