L'invention concerne un procédé d'intégration d'un composant d'installation (10.1, 10.2, 20.1, 20.2, 30.1, 30.2) dans un système d'installation (1) pour la surveillance de processus industriels, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : relier le composant d'installation au système d'installation, relier des capteurs de connexion (iS, eS) pour surveiller des paramètres de fonctionnement du composant d'installation vers le système d'installation, et attribuer une classe de composant d'installation prédéfinie (10, 20, 30) au composant d'installation.
