Abstract
衛星情報伝送システムの備える通信衛星(20)は、第一の光通信端末(51C)、第二の光通信端末(52C)、第三の光通信端末(53C)及び第四の光通信端末(54C)を有する。第三の光通信端末(53C)のAzimuth視野変更範囲(53B)は、衛星進行方向+Xに対して±90度以上である。また、第四の光通信端末(54C)のAzimuth視野変更範囲(54B)が、衛星進行方向+Xの逆方向に対して±90度以上である。
Description
本開示は、衛星情報を伝送する衛星情報伝送システム、通信衛星、地上設備及び衛星通信システムに関する。
従来では衛星コンステレーションを用いた監視システムがある(例えば特許文献1)。監視システムで取得した情報を、複数の軌道面からなる極軌道または複数の軌道面からなる傾斜軌道の衛星コンステレーションで構成される伝送システムで地上に伝送する場合は、軌道面の最北端ないし最南端において軌道が左右に入れ替わるため、通信回線を途絶せずに維持するのが難しいという課題がある。
本開示は、複数の軌道面からなる極軌道または複数の軌道面からなる傾斜軌道の衛星コンステレーションで伝送システムを形成する際に、軌道面の最北端ないし最南端において軌道が左右に入れ替わる場合にも、通信回線が途絶しない伝送システムの提供を目的とする。
本開示に係る衛星情報伝送システムは、ユーザ衛星と地球の地上設備との間の衛星情報を中継して伝送する衛星情報伝送システムである。
本開示に係る衛星情報伝送システムでは、
衛星間で通信する衛星間通信装置を有する通信衛星が、
同一の軌道面に8機以上配置され、かつ、隣接して配置される8面以上の複数の軌道面を飛翔することで衛星コンステレーションを形成し、

本開示によれば、少ない衛星数で全球常時監視が可能であり、空間分解能及び監視性能のような監視性能の高い監視システムの提供を提供できる。

<衛星間通信の概要>
図2は、軌道面12に8機の通信衛星20を配置した状態を示す。軌道高度300km以上の一つの軌道面に8機以上の通信衛星20を均等に配置して、通信衛星20が前後の通信衛星20と通信すれば、通信衛星20どうしが連続して通信接続された通信回線が形成できる。いずれかの通信衛星20が地上設備500と通信をすれば、軌道面12に配置されたどの通信衛星20の衛星情報も地上設備500へ伝送可能となる。機数が少ない場合は通信経路と地球表面接線との距離が近づくので、軌道高度を高高度にする必要がある。多数機を配備する場合には、少なくとも軌道高度300kmであれば、大気の影響を受けずに通信回線を形成できる。
図2は、軌道面12に8機の通信衛星20を配置した状態を示す。軌道高度300km以上の一つの軌道面に8機以上の通信衛星20を均等に配置して、通信衛星20が前後の通信衛星20と通信すれば、通信衛星20どうしが連続して通信接続された通信回線が形成できる。いずれかの通信衛星20が地上設備500と通信をすれば、軌道面12に配置されたどの通信衛星20の衛星情報も地上設備500へ伝送可能となる。機数が少ない場合は通信経路と地球表面接線との距離が近づくので、軌道高度を高高度にする必要がある。多数機を配備する場合には、少なくとも軌道高度300kmであれば、大気の影響を受けずに通信回線を形成できる。
図3は、傾斜軌道の同一の軌道面12における、通信衛星20の前後の通信衛星との、光通信リンク71を示す。図3のように形成される傾斜軌道の軌道13を、経度方向に均等に多数配備して、隣接軌道の通信衛星とも通信回線を形成すれば、全球を網羅する通信ネットワークを形成できる。

図5は、24面の軌道面12を有する傾斜軌道を北極側からみた図である。極軌道または傾斜軌道では、隣接軌道との相対距離は赤道上空で最大となる。8軌道面以上であれば隣接軌道間の通信は可能である。軌道面数が多いほど低軌道高度でも通信回線が成立する。図4に示す極軌道の場合は、極域で通信衛星の密集領域が発生するが、中緯度帯においては軌道面の交差は発生しない。一方、図5に示すように、傾斜軌道の場合は極域の密集は緩和されるが、中緯度帯に軌道面の交差が多数存在する。各通信衛星は光通信リンク71で接続されている。

図6は、軌道13Bの通信衛星20Bが前後の通信衛星20A,20Cと光通信し、かつ、隣接する軌道13Aの通信衛星20D及び隣接する軌道13Cの通信衛星20Eと光通信する状況を示す。

図7は、傾斜軌道において、軌道13A及び軌道13Bを飛翔する通信衛星20の位置変化を示す。軌道13Bを飛翔する通信衛星20は破線で示している。最北端に到達前では、軌道13Bの通信衛星20は、軌道13Aの通信衛星20の飛翔方向に対して右側に位置する。そして、軌道13Aの通信衛星20及び軌道13Bの通信衛星20が最北端を通過した後では、軌道13Bの通信衛星20は、軌道13Aの通信衛星20の飛翔方向の左側に位置する。
図7に示すように、極軌道及び傾斜軌道では隣接軌道との通信回線については、軌道面の最北端ないし最南端において軌道が左右に入れ替わるため、通信回線を途絶せずに維持するのが難しいという課題がある。
また、図5に示すように、傾斜軌道における中緯度帯に発生する軌道面同士の交点では衛星同士が衝突するリスクがある。衝突リスク回避のためには、軌道面毎に軌道高度を変える衝突回避対策が有効である。この場合、軌道面毎に通信衛星の対地速度が異なるため、時間経過と共に隣接軌道の通信衛星との通信回線維持が困難になるという課題がある。
実施の形態1の衛星情報伝送システム10はこの課題を解決するシステムである。衛星情報伝送システム10では、ある軌道を飛翔する通信衛星20は隣接軌道を飛翔する通信衛星20と以下のように通信する。通信衛星20は、東側の隣接軌道の通信衛星とは北東方向に通信し、西側の隣接軌道の通信衛星とは南西方向に通信する。また、通信衛星20は、衛星進行方向+Xに対してAzimuth回転方向に±90度以上の通信視野を確保する。これにより通信衛星20は、隣接軌道面の左右入れ替え時の通信途絶を回避することができる。
軌道高度を軌道面毎に変更することにより、衛星衝突を回避する。この場合、軌道高度を動的に変化させることにより、平均的な軌道高度を維持することにより、軌道面毎の対地速度の相違による通信回線途絶を回避する。平均的な軌道高度の維持により、隣接軌道衛星との通信を常時維持することが可能となり、衛星同士の衝突を回避できるという効果がある。
図8は、軌道面の最北端において軌道が左右に入れ替わることにより生じる、通信方向の逆転を示す図である。図8の軌道は傾斜軌道である、軌道13F、軌道13G、軌道13Hを飛翔する通信衛星20を、通信衛星20F、通信衛星20G、通信衛星20Hと区別している。軌道13Fでは、通信衛星20Fの時間経過の位置を位置1F、位置2F、位置3F、位置4Fと示している。軌道13G及び軌道13Hも同様である。位置1Gの通信衛星20Gに着目すると、通信衛星20Gは、飛翔方向の前方の図示していない通信衛星20との光通信リンク81で接続し、飛翔方向の後方の図示していない通信衛星20との光通信リンク82で接続する。また通信衛星20Gは、軌道13Fで横を飛翔する位置1Fの通信衛星20Fと光通信リンク83で接続し、軌道13Hで横を飛翔する位置1Hの通信衛星20Hと光通信リンク84で接続している。通信衛星20Gについて、通信衛星20Fとの接続が光通信リンク83であり、通信衛星20Hとの接続が光通信リンク84である。図8では光通信リンク84を実線で示している。
時間の経過により、通信衛星20F、通信衛星20G、通信衛星20Hの各位置が、位置4F,位置4G、位置4Hになる。このとき実線で示す光通信リンク84に着目すると、位置1Gのときの光通信リンク84は、通信衛星20Gの飛翔方向に対して右側であった。これに対して、軌道最北端を通過後の位置4Gでは、光通信リンク84は、通信衛星20Gの飛翔方向に対して左側になる。
図9は、図8から位置1G,位置4Gの通信衛星20Gを抜きだし、衛星座標系で示すように並べたものである。光通信リンク83と光通信リンク83との方向が左右で入れ替わるため、通信衛星20Gにおいてねじれている。つまり隣接軌道との通信では、通信衛星20Gの進行方の横を飛翔する通信衛星20と通信しようとすると、通信衛星20Gは位置4Gで隣接軌道を飛翔する通信衛星20F、通信衛星20Hとの通信が困難になる。
図10は、図8における位置4Gでの通信困難をなくす方式を示す図である。図10の方式が図8の方式と異なるのは以下の点である。図8では、隣接軌道において横を飛翔する通信衛星20と光リンクを形成した。図10では、赤道上空を北方に通過する際に、通信衛星20は、東側の隣接軌道の北東を飛翔する他の通信衛星20と光通信し、西側の隣接軌道の南西を飛翔する他の通信衛星20と光通信する。図10の通信衛星20Gに着目して説明する。
通信衛星20Gは、飛翔方向の前方の図示していない通信衛星20との光通信リンク81で接続し、飛翔方向の後方の図示していない通信衛星20との光通信リンク82で接続する。また通信衛星20Gは、軌道13Fで南西の位置を飛翔する位置1Fの通信衛星20Fと光通信リンク83で接続し、軌道13Hで北東の位置を飛翔する位置1Hの通信衛星20Hと光通信リンク84で接続している。図10では光通信リンク84を実線で示している。
時間の経過により、通信衛星20F、通信衛星20G、通信衛星20Hの各位置が、位置4F,位置4G、位置4Hになる。このとき実線で示す光通信リンク84に着目すると、位置1Gのときの光通信リンク84は、通信衛星20Gの飛翔方向に対して右側であった。これに対して、軌道最北端を通過後の位置4Gでは、光通信リンク84は、通信衛星20Gの飛翔方向に対して左側になる。これは図8と同じである。
図11は、図10から位置1G,位置4Gの通信衛星20Gを抜きだし、衛星座標系で示すように並べたものである。光通信リンク83と光通信リンク83との方向が左右で入れ替わるため、通信衛星20Gにおいてねじれている。しかし、図11では、図9に比べて光通信リンク83及び光通信リンク84のねじれ量は少ない。図11では光通信リンク83及び光通信リンク84の方向変化量は、いずれも90度以内である。
図12は、図10で述べた通信衛星20の具体的な通信端末の配置を示す。図12は、通信衛星20が赤道上空を北方へ飛翔する状態を示す。図12は通信衛星20の4面図である。
図13は、Azimuth回転方向と、Elevation回転方向を示す。Azimuth回転方向は右手系座標の+Z軸まわりであり、Elevation回転方向は右手系座標の+Y軸まわりである。通信衛星20は、極軌道または傾斜軌道における複数の軌道面に配置される。通信衛星20は、第一の光通信端末51C、第二の光通信端末52C、第三の光通信端末53C及び第四の光通信端末54Cを備えている。第一の光通信端末51Cは、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+X軸の方向を通信衛星20の衛星進行方向+X、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+Z軸の方向を通信衛星20の地心方向+Zとした場合に、赤道上空を北方に通過する際に、同一軌道面で飛翔方向前方の他の通信衛星20と光通信する。第二の光通信端末52Cは、赤道上空を北方に通過する際に、同一軌道面で飛翔方向後方の他の通信衛星20と光通信する。第三の光通信端末53Cは、東側の隣接軌道の北東を飛翔する他の通信衛星20と光通信する。第四の光通信端末54Cは、西側の隣接軌道の南西を飛翔する他の通信衛星20と光通信する。
図13は、Azimuth回転方向と、Elevation回転方向を示す。Azimuth回転方向は右手系座標の+Z軸まわりであり、Elevation回転方向は右手系座標の+Y軸まわりである。通信衛星20は、極軌道または傾斜軌道における複数の軌道面に配置される。通信衛星20は、第一の光通信端末51C、第二の光通信端末52C、第三の光通信端末53C及び第四の光通信端末54Cを備えている。第一の光通信端末51Cは、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+X軸の方向を通信衛星20の衛星進行方向+X、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+Z軸の方向を通信衛星20の地心方向+Zとした場合に、赤道上空を北方に通過する際に、同一軌道面で飛翔方向前方の他の通信衛星20と光通信する。第二の光通信端末52Cは、赤道上空を北方に通過する際に、同一軌道面で飛翔方向後方の他の通信衛星20と光通信する。第三の光通信端末53Cは、東側の隣接軌道の北東を飛翔する他の通信衛星20と光通信する。第四の光通信端末54Cは、西側の隣接軌道の南西を飛翔する他の通信衛星20と光通信する。
図12では、XY面における黒丸は、実際にその光通信端末が見えることを示し、白丸は光通信端末が実際には見えないことを示す。第一の光通信端末51Cは、通信衛星20の進行方向の前方に配置される。第一の光通信端末51Cは、通信衛星20の進行方向に通信視野51を持つ。第二の光通信端末52Cは、通信衛星20の進行方向に対して第一の光通信端末51Cの後方に配置される。第二の光通信端末52Cは、通信衛星20の進行方向の反対方向に通信視野52を持つ。第三の光通信端末53Cは、通信衛星20の進行方向の前方に配置される。第三の光通信端末53Cは、通信衛星20の進行方向の前方に通信視野53を持つ。第三の光通信端末53Cは、東側で隣接する軌道13を飛翔する通信衛星20と北東通信方向53Aで光通信リンクを形成する。第四の光通信端末54Cは、通信衛星20の進行方向に対して第三の光通信端末53Cの後方に配置される。第四の光通信端末54は、通信衛星20の進行方向の反対方向に通信視野54を持つ。第四の光通信端末54Cは、西側で隣接する軌道13を飛翔する通信衛星20と南西通信方向54Aで光通信リンクを形成する。
<アジマス>
第三の光通信端末53CのAzimuth通信視野は、衛星進行方向+Xに対して±90度以上である。つまり、図12の右側のXY平面に示すように、第三の光通信端末53CのAzimuth視野変更範囲53Bは、衛星進行方向+Xに対して±90度以上である。また、第四の光通信端末54CのAzimuth通信視野は、衛星進行方向+Xの逆方向に対して±90度以上である。つまり、第四の光通信端末54CのAzimuth視野変更範囲54Bは、衛星進行方向+Xの逆方向に対して±90度以上である。
第三の光通信端末53CのAzimuth通信視野は、衛星進行方向+Xに対して±90度以上である。つまり、図12の右側のXY平面に示すように、第三の光通信端末53CのAzimuth視野変更範囲53Bは、衛星進行方向+Xに対して±90度以上である。また、第四の光通信端末54CのAzimuth通信視野は、衛星進行方向+Xの逆方向に対して±90度以上である。つまり、第四の光通信端末54CのAzimuth視野変更範囲54Bは、衛星進行方向+Xの逆方向に対して±90度以上である。
<Azimuth及びElevation>
さらに図12の説明を続ける。第一の光通信端末51Cと、第二の光通信端末52Cと、第三の光通信端末53Cと、第四の光通信端末54Cとは、+Z軸まわりにAzimuth回転が可能である。第三の光通信端末53Cと第四の光通信端末54CのAzimuth視野変更については述べたので、第一の光通信端末51C及び第二の光通信端末52CのAzimuth視野変更について説明する。図12の左側のXY平面に示すように、第一の光通信端末51Cは、Azimuth視野変更範囲51Bで通信視野51の変更が可能である。
第二の光通信端末52Cも、Azimuth視野変更範囲52Bで通信視野52の変更が可能である。
さらに図12の説明を続ける。第一の光通信端末51Cと、第二の光通信端末52Cと、第三の光通信端末53Cと、第四の光通信端末54Cとは、+Z軸まわりにAzimuth回転が可能である。第三の光通信端末53Cと第四の光通信端末54CのAzimuth視野変更については述べたので、第一の光通信端末51C及び第二の光通信端末52CのAzimuth視野変更について説明する。図12の左側のXY平面に示すように、第一の光通信端末51Cは、Azimuth視野変更範囲51Bで通信視野51の変更が可能である。
第二の光通信端末52Cも、Azimuth視野変更範囲52Bで通信視野52の変更が可能である。
第一の光通信端末51Cと、第二の光通信端末52Cと、第三の光通信端末53Cと、第四の光通信端末54Cとは、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+Y軸まわりにElevation回転が可能である。図12のXZ平面に示すように、第一の光通信端末51Cは、Elevation視野変更範囲51Dで、+Y軸まわりにElevation回転が可能である。第二の光通信端末52Cは、Elevation視野変更範囲52Dで、+Y軸まわりにElevation回転が可能である。第三の光通信端末53Cは、Elevation視野変更範囲53Dで、+Y軸まわりにElevation回転が可能である。第四の光通信端末54Cは、Elevation視野変更範囲54Dで、+Y軸まわりにElevation回転が可能である。
図12のXZ平面に示すように、第一の光通信端末51Cと、第二の光通信端末52Cとは、地球600に面する地球指向面18に配置されている。第三の光通信端末53Cと、第四の光通信端末54Cとは、地球指向面18の裏面であり地心方向+Zの反対方向に向いている反地球指向面19に配置されている。第一の光通信端末51CのAzimuth及びElevation回転のための駆動部と、第三の光通信端末53CのAzimuth及びElevation回転のための駆動部とは、衛星進行方向+Xを向く進行方向ベクトル上にない。また第二の光通信端末52CのAzimuth及びElevation回転のための駆動部と、第四の光通信端末54CのAzimuth及びElevation回転のための駆動部とは、進行方向ベクトル上にない。
光通信において±90度以上の高視野角を確保するには、通信衛星20において視野干渉がない通信装置の配置が必須である。
第一の光通信端末51Cと第二の光通信端末52Cと、第三の光通信端末53Cと第四の光通信端末54Cとを、一方を地球指向面18に配置し、他方を反地球指向面19に分離して配置することにより、広い通信視野範囲を確保できるという効果がある。
更に第一の光通信端末51C及び第二の光通信端末52Cは、地球の球状効果により視野方向が進行方向に対して地球方向に傾斜する。地球指向面18に配置することにより、視野干渉を回避するのが合理的である。また第一の光通信端末51C及び第二の光通信端末52Cは、一方を地球指向面18に、他方を反地球指向面19に配置する案もある。反地球指向面19が衛星打ち上げ時のロケットインタフェースとなる場合に、実装制約となることが課題である。またElevation on Azimuthの2軸構成の光通信端末ではX軸上に不感帯が発生するため、通信端末の標準化が難しいという課題がある。また第一の光通信端末51Cと第三の光通信端末53Cとは、視野方向が一致する可能性があり、第二の光通信端末52Cと第四の光通信端末54Cとは、視野方向が一致する可能性がある。このため、信号が干渉するという課題があるが、第一の光通信端末51Cの駆動中心である駆動部と第三の光通信端末53Cの駆動中心である駆動部が進行方向ベクトルの同軸上になく、かつ、第二の光通信端末52Cの駆動中心である駆動部と、第四の光通信端末の駆動中心である駆動部とが、進行方向ベクトルの同軸上にないように、衛星上で距離を離して配置することにより、干渉を回避できるという効果がある。
実施の形態1に開示する通信衛星20によれば標準端末を利用できるので、システム構築が低コスト化できるという効果がある。
第一の光通信端末51Cと第二の光通信端末52Cと、第三の光通信端末53Cと第四の光通信端末54Cとを、一方を地球指向面18に配置し、他方を反地球指向面19に分離して配置することにより、広い通信視野範囲を確保できるという効果がある。
更に第一の光通信端末51C及び第二の光通信端末52Cは、地球の球状効果により視野方向が進行方向に対して地球方向に傾斜する。地球指向面18に配置することにより、視野干渉を回避するのが合理的である。また第一の光通信端末51C及び第二の光通信端末52Cは、一方を地球指向面18に、他方を反地球指向面19に配置する案もある。反地球指向面19が衛星打ち上げ時のロケットインタフェースとなる場合に、実装制約となることが課題である。またElevation on Azimuthの2軸構成の光通信端末ではX軸上に不感帯が発生するため、通信端末の標準化が難しいという課題がある。また第一の光通信端末51Cと第三の光通信端末53Cとは、視野方向が一致する可能性があり、第二の光通信端末52Cと第四の光通信端末54Cとは、視野方向が一致する可能性がある。このため、信号が干渉するという課題があるが、第一の光通信端末51Cの駆動中心である駆動部と第三の光通信端末53Cの駆動中心である駆動部が進行方向ベクトルの同軸上になく、かつ、第二の光通信端末52Cの駆動中心である駆動部と、第四の光通信端末の駆動中心である駆動部とが、進行方向ベクトルの同軸上にないように、衛星上で距離を離して配置することにより、干渉を回避できるという効果がある。
実施の形態1に開示する通信衛星20によれば標準端末を利用できるので、システム構築が低コスト化できるという効果がある。
上記で述べたように、図5に示すように、傾斜軌道における中緯度帯に発生する軌道面同士の交点では衛星同士が衝突するリスクがある。衝突リスク回避のためには、軌道面毎に軌道高度を変える衝突回避対策が有効である。この場合、軌道面毎に通信衛星の対地速度が異なるため、時間経過と共に隣接軌道の通信衛星との通信回線維持が困難になるという課題がある。この場合、軌道高度を動的に変化させることにより、平均的な軌道高度を維持することにより、軌道面毎の対地速度の相違による通信回線途絶を回避する。平均的な軌道高度の維持により、隣接軌道衛星との通信を常時維持することが可能となり、衛星同士の衝突を回避できるという効果がある。
以下に軌道高度を動的に変更する方式を説明する。

<方式1>
衛星情報伝送システム10の衛星コンステレーション11は、法線ベクトルが異なる軌道面12のそれぞれで軌道高度が異なり、かつ、軌道高度が時間的に変動することで、法線ベクトルが異なるそれぞれの軌道面の平均軌道高度が均一となる。

<方式2>
衛星コンステレーション11は、複数の軌道面12の各軌道面12の軌道高度が互いに異なり、かつ、複数の軌道面の各軌道面の公転周期が互いに等しくなるような軌道傾斜角を有する。
複数の軌道面における隣接する軌道面の相対高度差は、隣接する順に並べると正弦波状となる。複数の軌道面の各軌道面は、正弦波状が保持された状態で、軌道高度が隣接の順番に変動する。
衛星コンステレーション11は、複数の軌道面12の各軌道面12の軌道高度が互いに異なり、かつ、複数の軌道面の各軌道面の公転周期が互いに等しくなるような軌道傾斜角を有する。
複数の軌道面における隣接する軌道面の相対高度差は、隣接する順に並べると正弦波状となる。複数の軌道面の各軌道面は、正弦波状が保持された状態で、軌道高度が隣接の順番に変動する。
<方式3>
衛星コンステレーション11は、各軌道面12に複数の通信衛星20が軌道衛星群として飛翔する。軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、速度を変化させる推進装置21を備えている。軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20の推進装置21と同期して動作する。
(1)連続的に隣接する複数の軌道面のうち一の軌道面を最初軌道面とし、最初軌道面から数えて最後の軌道面を最後軌道面とした場合に、最初軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、第一の時間長さだけ増速した後に第一の時間長さだけ減速する動作を繰り返す増減速処理を実施する。
(2)最初軌道面に隣接する軌道面である第二軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、最初軌道面において増減速処理が開始した時点から第二の時間長さの経過後に、上記増減速処理を開始する。
(3)第二軌道面に隣接する軌道面から最後軌道面に向かって、各軌道面の軌道衛星群は、第二の時間長さの経過後に、上記増減速処理を開始するとともに、最初軌道面から最後軌道面の軌道衛星群は、第二の時間長さの経過後に実施する上記の増減速処理を繰り返す。
衛星コンステレーション11は、各軌道面12に複数の通信衛星20が軌道衛星群として飛翔する。軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、速度を変化させる推進装置21を備えている。軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20の推進装置21と同期して動作する。
(1)連続的に隣接する複数の軌道面のうち一の軌道面を最初軌道面とし、最初軌道面から数えて最後の軌道面を最後軌道面とした場合に、最初軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、第一の時間長さだけ増速した後に第一の時間長さだけ減速する動作を繰り返す増減速処理を実施する。
(2)最初軌道面に隣接する軌道面である第二軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、最初軌道面において増減速処理が開始した時点から第二の時間長さの経過後に、上記増減速処理を開始する。
(3)第二軌道面に隣接する軌道面から最後軌道面に向かって、各軌道面の軌道衛星群は、第二の時間長さの経過後に、上記増減速処理を開始するとともに、最初軌道面から最後軌道面の軌道衛星群は、第二の時間長さの経過後に実施する上記の増減速処理を繰り返す。
<方式4>
方式4と同様に、衛星コンステレーション11は、各軌道面12に複数の通信衛星20が軌道衛星群として飛翔する。各軌道面の軌道衛星群は大気抵抗が影響する軌道高度に配置される。軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、速度を変化させる推進装置21を備えている。軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20の推進装置21と同期して動作する。
(1)連続的に隣接する複数の軌道面12のうち一の軌道面12を最初軌道面とし、最初軌道面から数えて最後の軌道面を最後軌道面とした場合に、最初軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星は、第一の時間長さだけ増速した後に増速を停止し、大気抵抗により元の高度に戻った後に第一の時間長さだけ増速をする動作を繰り返す大気増減速処理を実施する。
(2)最初軌道面に隣接する軌道面である第二軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星は、最初軌道面において大気増減速処理が開始した時点から第二の時間長さの経過後に、大気増減速処理を開始する。
(3)第二軌道面に隣接する軌道面から最後軌道面に向かって、各軌道面の軌道衛星群は、第二の時間長さの経過後に、大気増減速処理を開始し、最初軌道面から最後軌道面の軌道衛星群は、第二の時間長さの経過後に実施する大気増減速処理を繰り返す。
方式4と同様に、衛星コンステレーション11は、各軌道面12に複数の通信衛星20が軌道衛星群として飛翔する。各軌道面の軌道衛星群は大気抵抗が影響する軌道高度に配置される。軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、速度を変化させる推進装置21を備えている。軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20は、軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星20の推進装置21と同期して動作する。
(1)連続的に隣接する複数の軌道面12のうち一の軌道面12を最初軌道面とし、最初軌道面から数えて最後の軌道面を最後軌道面とした場合に、最初軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星は、第一の時間長さだけ増速した後に増速を停止し、大気抵抗により元の高度に戻った後に第一の時間長さだけ増速をする動作を繰り返す大気増減速処理を実施する。
(2)最初軌道面に隣接する軌道面である第二軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星は、最初軌道面において大気増減速処理が開始した時点から第二の時間長さの経過後に、大気増減速処理を開始する。
(3)第二軌道面に隣接する軌道面から最後軌道面に向かって、各軌道面の軌道衛星群は、第二の時間長さの経過後に、大気増減速処理を開始し、最初軌道面から最後軌道面の軌道衛星群は、第二の時間長さの経過後に実施する大気増減速処理を繰り返す。
方式1から方式4は、中緯度帯で衝突するリスクを回避できるという効果がある。また、軌道面毎に軌道高度が異なる場合、軌道面毎に対地速度が異なるために、長時間経過すると隣接軌道の通信回線が維持できなくなるという課題があるが、方式2のように、正弦波状に高度が変動すれば、平均的な対地速度が維持されるので、隣接軌道間で通信回線を維持しまままで、衝突回避ができるという効果がある。方式1では法線ベクトルが異なる軌道面毎に軌道高度が異なり、かつ軌道高度が時間的に変動することで、平均軌道高度が同等となる。方式2のように、衛星コンステレーションを形成する実現方法としては、予め隣接軌道を順番に並べた場合に、軌道高度が正弦波状となるように初期高度を設定した上で、時間変動に伴い正弦波の波が進行するように高度を順番に変更することにより、正弦波一サイクル後に平均高度が均一となる。
動的に軌道高度を変更する方式は別に、以下の方式5及び方式6がある。
<方式5>
図14は、隣接する長径を順番に並べて配置した図である。方式5として、図14に示すように、衛星コンステレーション11の複数の軌道面12は、離心率を有する楕円軌道であるとともに、軌道面毎に楕円軌道長径方向がElevation方向に均等に分散して衛星コンステレーションを形成する。なお図14はデフォルメしている。
図14は、隣接する長径を順番に並べて配置した図である。方式5として、図14に示すように、衛星コンステレーション11の複数の軌道面12は、離心率を有する楕円軌道であるとともに、軌道面毎に楕円軌道長径方向がElevation方向に均等に分散して衛星コンステレーションを形成する。なお図14はデフォルメしている。
<方式6>
衛星コンステレーションは、法線方向が互いに異なるN(Nは自然数)面の軌道面を有する。N面の軌道面の各軌道面が、同一の離心率と長径とを有する楕円軌道となり、N面の軌道面の各軌道面の長径のエレベーション方向が互いに360度/Nの相対角度を有し、かつ、N面の軌道面の各軌道面のAzimuth方向が互いに180度/Nの相対角度を有する。
衛星コンステレーションは、法線方向が互いに異なるN(Nは自然数)面の軌道面を有する。N面の軌道面の各軌道面が、同一の離心率と長径とを有する楕円軌道となり、N面の軌道面の各軌道面の長径のエレベーション方向が互いに360度/Nの相対角度を有し、かつ、N面の軌道面の各軌道面のAzimuth方向が互いに180度/Nの相対角度を有する。
多数の傾斜軌道面で形成された衛星コンステレーションにおいて、方式5または方式6によれば、いずれの瞬間も軌道の交点をもたず、かつ軌道を1周回する間の平均軌道高度が均一となるので、通信途絶せずに、衝突回避できるという効果がある。
<通信衛星30>
図15から図19を参照して通信衛星30を説明する。

図18に示すように地上間通信装置61Cは、第一の光通信端末51C及び第三の光通信端末53Cよりも+X方向に配置されている。地上間通信装置61Cの通信視野61は地心方向に向かう。図19に示すようにユーザ間通信装置62Cは、反地球指向面19の側において通信視野53及び第四の光通信端末54Cよりも-Y方向に配置されている。地上間通信装置61Cの通信視野61は地心方向に向かう。なおユーザ間通信装置62Cは、第一の光通信端末51C、第二の光通信端末52C、第三の光通信端末53C及び第四の光通信端末54Cとのいずれの光通信端末とも通信帯域が異なる光通信端末であってもよい。
図15に示す通信衛星30は地上間通信装置61Cとユーザ間通信装置62Cとを備えている。地上設備500と通信する地上間通信装置61Cは電波通信端末と光通信端末のいずれの可能性もある。光通信端末の場合は曇天において通信途絶するという課題がある。また一機の通信衛星上で同時に多数の光通信回線を維持するための指向精度と指向安定度の達成は技術的難度が高いという課題がある。これらの課題を解決して光通信端末を採用する場合には、衛星進行方向面(+X面)にElevation軸on Azimuth軸構成の標準光端末を搭載すれば、通信視野の確保ができ、視野変更範囲を含めて合理的である。
ユーザ衛星と通信するユーザ間通信装置62Cについても電波通信端末と光通信端末のいずれの可能性もある。ユーザ間通信装置62Cに光通信端末を採用して一機の通信衛星上で同時に多数の光通信回線を維持するための指向精度と指向安定度の達成は技術的難度が高いという課題がある。これらの課題を解決して光通信端末を採用する場合には、反地球指向面19にElevation軸on Azimuth軸構成の標準光端末を搭載すれば、通信視野の確保ができ、視野変更範囲を含めて合理的である。ユーザ間通信装置62Cが光通信端末の場合、第一の光通信端末51Cから第四の光通信端末54Cと周波数帯を変更することにより干渉を回避できるという効果がある。国際的には1.0μm帯と1.55μm帯の衛星間光通信実績がある。このため、ユーザ間通信装置62Cが光通信端末の場合には1.55μm帯を採用し、第一の光通信端末51Cから第四の光通信端末54Cでは1.0μm帯を採用するか、その逆の周波数を採用するのが合理的である。なお2周波共用型の標準光通信端末が実現されれば、標準端末化による低コスト化の効果がある。
図20は、2周波共用型の標準光通信端末を示している。図20の2周波共用型の標準光通信端末は、1.0μm送受信装置410、1.0/1.55μm切替装置420、1.55μm送受信装置430、精精度及び指向方向変更装置440、粗精度及び指向方向変更装置450、光アンテナ460を備えている。1.0μm送受信装置410は、1.0μm送信器411、1.0μm受信器412、送受切替装置413を備えている。1.55μm送受信装置430は、1.55μm送信器431、1.55μm受信器432、送受切替装置433を備えている。
以上に説明した衛星情報伝送システム10は、ユーザ衛星を含まない、地上設備から地上設備への情報伝送システムとしても適用できることは言うまでもない。また、ユーザ衛星と同様に、航空機、UAV(unmanned aerial vehicle)、艦船、車両、各種地上設備といった地球側装置どうしの情報伝送システムとしても適用できることは言うまでもない。ここで、地球側装置どうしの情報伝送とは、一方の地球側装置から、他方の地球側装置へ、衛星コンステレーションを形成する複数の通信衛星を介して、情報を伝送することを意味する。
以下に、情報伝送システムである衛星通信システムを説明しておく。
この衛星通信システムでは、衛星間で通信する衛星間通信装置を有する通信衛星が、同一の軌道面に8機以上配置され、かつ、隣接して配置される8面以上の複数の軌道面を飛翔することで衛星コンステレーションを形成する。
そして、複数の軌道面に配置される通信衛星のうち1機以上の通信衛星が、地球に位置する地球側装置と通信する地球間通信装置を有する。
複数の軌道面に配置される各通信衛星は、
右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+X軸の方向を通信衛星の衛星進行方向+X、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+Z軸の方向を通信衛星の地心方向+Zとした場合に、
赤道上空を北方に通過する際に、
同一軌道面で飛翔方向前方の他の通信衛星と光通信する第一の光通信端末と、
同一軌道面で飛翔方向後方の他の通信衛星と光通信する第二の光通信端末と、
東側の隣接軌道の北東を飛翔する他の通信衛星と光通信する第三の光通信端末と、
西側の隣接軌道の南西を飛翔する他の通信衛星と光通信する第四の光通信端末と、
を有する。
第三の光通信端末のAzimuth通信視野が、
衛星進行方向+Xに対して±90度以上であり、
第四の光通信端末のAzimuth通信視野が、
衛星進行方向+Xの逆方向に対して±90度以上である。
この衛星通信システムでは、衛星間で通信する衛星間通信装置を有する通信衛星が、同一の軌道面に8機以上配置され、かつ、隣接して配置される8面以上の複数の軌道面を飛翔することで衛星コンステレーションを形成する。
そして、複数の軌道面に配置される通信衛星のうち1機以上の通信衛星が、地球に位置する地球側装置と通信する地球間通信装置を有する。
複数の軌道面に配置される各通信衛星は、
右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+X軸の方向を通信衛星の衛星進行方向+X、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+Z軸の方向を通信衛星の地心方向+Zとした場合に、
赤道上空を北方に通過する際に、
同一軌道面で飛翔方向前方の他の通信衛星と光通信する第一の光通信端末と、
同一軌道面で飛翔方向後方の他の通信衛星と光通信する第二の光通信端末と、
東側の隣接軌道の北東を飛翔する他の通信衛星と光通信する第三の光通信端末と、
西側の隣接軌道の南西を飛翔する他の通信衛星と光通信する第四の光通信端末と、
を有する。
第三の光通信端末のAzimuth通信視野が、
衛星進行方向+Xに対して±90度以上であり、
第四の光通信端末のAzimuth通信視野が、
衛星進行方向+Xの逆方向に対して±90度以上である。
***実施の形態1の効果***
実施の形態1の衛星情報伝送システム10によれば、通信遮断の起きにくい伝送システムを提供できる。衛星情報伝送システム10によれば、通信衛星どうしの衝突の危険性のない衛星情報伝送システム10を提供できる。
また、実施の形態1の衛星通信システムによれば、衛星コンステレーションを介する地球側装置どうしの通信について、通信遮断の起きにくい、かつ、通信衛星どうしの衝突の危険性のない伝送システムを実現できる。
実施の形態1の衛星情報伝送システム10によれば、通信遮断の起きにくい伝送システムを提供できる。衛星情報伝送システム10によれば、通信衛星どうしの衝突の危険性のない衛星情報伝送システム10を提供できる。
また、実施の形態1の衛星通信システムによれば、衛星コンステレーションを介する地球側装置どうしの通信について、通信遮断の起きにくい、かつ、通信衛星どうしの衝突の危険性のない伝送システムを実現できる。

Claims (12)
- ユーザ衛星と地球の地上設備との間の衛星情報を中継して伝送する衛星情報伝送システムにおいて、
衛星間で通信する衛星間通信装置を有する通信衛星が、
同一の軌道面に8機以上配置され、かつ、隣接して配置される8面以上の複数の軌道面を飛翔することで衛星コンステレーションを形成し、
前記複数の軌道面に配置される前記通信衛星のうち1機以上の通信衛星が、
前記ユーザ衛星と通信するユーザ間通信装置を有し、
前記複数の軌道面に配置される各通信衛星は、
右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+X軸の方向を前記通信衛星の衛星進行方向+X、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+Z軸の方向を前記通信衛星の地心方向+Zとした場合に、
赤道上空を北方に通過する際に、
同一軌道面で飛翔方向前方の他の通信衛星と光通信する前記衛星間通信装置である第一の光通信端末と、
同一軌道面で飛翔方向後方の他の通信衛星と光通信する前記衛星間通信装置である第二の光通信端末と、
東側の隣接軌道の北東を飛翔する他の通信衛星と光通信する前記衛星間通信装置である第三の光通信端末と、
西側の隣接軌道の南西を飛翔する他の通信衛星と光通信する前記衛星間通信装置である第四の光通信端末と、
を有し、
前記第三の光通信端末のAzimuth通信視野が、
衛星進行方向+Xに対して±90度以上であり、
前記第四の光通信端末のAzimuth通信視野が、
衛星進行方向+Xの逆方向に対して±90度以上である、
衛星情報伝送システム。 - 前記第一の光通信端末と、前記第二の光通信端末と、前記第三の光通信端末と、前記第四の光通信端末とは、
+Z軸まわりにAzimuth回転が可能であり、かつ、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+Y軸まわりにElevation回転が可能であり、
前記第一の光通信端末と、前記第二の光通信端末とは
地球に面する地球指向面に配置され、
前記第三の光通信端末と、前記第四の光通信端末とは、
前記地球指向面の裏面であり地心方向+Zの反対方向に向いている反地球指向面に配置される請求項1に記載の衛星情報伝送システム。 - 前記衛星コンステレーションは、
法線ベクトルが異なる軌道面のそれぞれで軌道高度が異なり、かつ、前記軌道高度が時間的に変動することで、法線ベクトルが異なるそれぞれの前記軌道面の平均軌道高度が均一となる、
請求項1または請求項2に記載の衛星情報伝送システム。 - 前記衛星コンステレーションは、
前記複数の軌道面の各軌道面の軌道高度が互いに異なり、かつ、前記複数の軌道面の各軌道面の公転周期が互いに等しくなるような軌道傾斜角を有し、
前記複数の軌道面における隣接する軌道面の相対高度差は、
隣接する順に並べると正弦波状となり、
前記複数の軌道面の各軌道面は、
前記正弦波状が保持された状態で、軌道高度が隣接の順番に変動する、
請求項1または請求項2に記載の衛星情報伝送システム。 - 前記衛星コンステレーションは、
各軌道面に複数の前記通信衛星が軌道衛星群として飛翔し、
前記軌道衛星群のそれぞれの前記通信衛星は、
速度を変化させる推進装置を備え、前記軌道衛星群のそれぞれの前記通信衛星の前記推進装置と同期して動作し、
連続的に隣接する複数の軌道面のうち一の軌道面を最初軌道面とし、前記最初軌道面から数えて最後の軌道面を最後軌道面とした場合に、
前記最初軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星は、
第一の時間長さだけ増速した後に前記第一の時間長さだけ減速する動作を繰り返す増減速処理を実施し、
前記最初軌道面に隣接する前記軌道面である第二軌道面の前記軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星は、
前記最初軌道面において前記増減速処理が開始した時点から第二の時間長さの経過後に、前記増減速処理を開始し、
前記第二軌道面に隣接する前記軌道面から前記最後軌道面に向かって、各軌道面の前記軌道衛星群は、
前記第二の時間長さの経過後に、前記増減速処理を開始するとともに、前記最初軌道面から前記最後軌道面の前記軌道衛星群は、前記第二の時間長さの経過後に実施する前記増減速処理を繰り返す、
請求項1または請求項2に記載の衛星情報伝送システム。 - 前記衛星コンステレーションは、
各軌道面に複数の前記通信衛星が軌道衛星群として飛翔し、各軌道面の前記軌道衛星群は大気抵抗が影響する軌道高度に配置され、
前記軌道衛星群のそれぞれの前記通信衛星は、
速度を変化させる推進装置を備え、前記軌道衛星群のそれぞれの前記通信衛星の前記推進装置と同期して動作し、
連続的に隣接する複数の軌道面のうち一の軌道面を最初軌道面とし、前記最初軌道面から数えて最後の軌道面を最後軌道面とした場合に、
前記最初軌道面の軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星は、
第一の時間長さだけ増速した後に増速を停止し、前記大気抵抗により元の高度に戻った後に前記第一の時間長さだけ増速をする動作を繰り返す大気増減速処理を実施し、
前記最初軌道面に隣接する前記軌道面である第二軌道面の前記軌道衛星群のそれぞれの通信衛星は、
前記最初軌道面において前記大気増減速処理が開始した時点から第二の時間長さの経過後に、前記大気増減速処理を開始し、
前記第二軌道面に隣接する前記軌道面から前記最後軌道面に向かって、各軌道面の前記軌道衛星群は、
前記第二の時間長さの経過後に、前記大気増減速処理を開始し、
前記最初軌道面から前記最後軌道面の前記軌道衛星群は、
前記第二の時間長さの経過後に実施する前記大気増減速処理を繰り返す、
請求項1または請求項2に記載の衛星情報伝送システム。 - 前記衛星コンステレーションの前記複数の軌道面は、
離心率を有する楕円軌道であるとともに、前記軌道面毎に楕円軌道長径方向がElevation方向に均等に分散して前記衛星コンステレーションを形成する請求項1または請求項2に記載の衛星情報伝送システム。 - 前記衛星コンステレーションは、
法線方向が互いに異なるN(Nは自然数)面の軌道面を有し、
前記N面の軌道面の各軌道面が同一の離心率と長径とを有する楕円軌道となり、前記N面の軌道面の各軌道面の長径のエレベーション方向が互いに360度/Nの相対角度を有し、かつ、前記N面の軌道面の各軌道面のAzimuth方向が互いに180度/Nの相対角度を有する請求項1または請求項2に記載の衛星情報伝送システム。 - 前記ユーザ間通信装置は、
前記第一の光通信端末、前記第二の光通信端末、前記第三の光通信端末及び前記第四の光通信端末とのいずれの光通信端末とも通信帯域が異なる光通信端末である請求項1から請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の衛星情報伝送システム。 - 請求項1から請求項9のいずれか一項の衛星情報伝送システムで使用される通信衛星。
- 請求項1から請求項9のいずれか一項の衛星情報伝送システムで使用される地上設備。
- 衛星間で通信する衛星間通信装置を有する通信衛星が、
同一の軌道面に8機以上配置され、かつ、隣接して配置される8面以上の複数の軌道面を飛翔することで衛星コンステレーションを形成し、
前記複数の軌道面に配置される前記通信衛星のうち1機以上の通信衛星が、
地球に位置する地球側装置と通信する地球間通信装置を有し、
前記複数の軌道面に配置される各通信衛星は、
右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+X軸の方向を前記通信衛星の衛星進行方向+X、右手直交座標でプラス方向を向く+Z軸の方向を前記通信衛星の地心方向+Zとした場合に、
赤道上空を北方に通過する際に、
同一軌道面で飛翔方向前方の他の通信衛星と光通信する前記衛星間通信装置である第一の光通信端末と、

衛星進行方向+Xに対して±90度以上であり、
前記第四の光通信端末のAzimuth通信視野が、
