Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif coussin de sécurité gonflable pour un véhicule, ce dispositif coussin de sécurité comprenant : un coussin de sécurité gonflable latéral destiné à se gonfler et à se déployer entre le côté interne du véhicule et un passager en cas d'accident de voiture ; et un dispositif de gonflage destiné à fournir un gaz au coussin de sécurité gonflable latéral, celui-ci comprenant une chambre d'expansion disposée à des emplacements correspondant à la tête et au bassin du passager lorsque ce dernier est tourné vers l'arrière selon un angle défini à l'avance ou supérieur, de sorte à allonger la longueur totale du coussin de sécurité gonflable latéral. Ainsi, la chambre d'expansion se gonfle et se déploie de façon sélective en fonction de l'angle de rotation du dossier, de sorte que le dossier du siège puisse protéger la tête ou les épaules et le bassin du passager qui est tourné vers l'arrière selon l'angle prédéfini ou supérieur.
