DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0020] Hereinafter, various examples will be described with reference to the drawings. The examples described hereinafter may be modified and performed in various different aspects.
[0021] In the disclosure, an expression that a certain component is “connected” to another component not only includes a case where the components are directly connected to each other, but also a case where the components are connected to each other with another component interposed therebetween. In addition, when a certain component “includes” another certain component, it implies that still another component may be further included, rather than excluding it, unless otherwise noted. [0022] In the disclosure, an “image forming job” may refer to various jobs (e.g., copying, printing, scanning, faxing, etc.) relating to an image such as forming of an image or generating, saving, or transmitting of an image file, and the “job” may not only include the image forming job, but also include any process necessary for performing the image forming job.
[0023] An “image forming apparatus” may refer to an apparatus which prints print data generated on a terminal apparatus such as a computer on a recording medium such as paper. Examples of such an image forming apparatus may include a copier, a printer, a facsimile, a scanner, and a multi-function peripheral (MFP) realizing functions of these with one apparatus in combination. [0024] An “external apparatus” may refer to an apparatus providing information or a service to a client via a network. For example, the external apparatus may be a server, a cloud, a web server, a host apparatus, and the like. If the external apparatus is a server, examples of the server may include a payment server, a management server, and the like. The service may be provided from one physical server or may be provided from a virtual server (or cloud server) separated from the one physical server.
[0025] A “user terminal apparatus” may refer to a terminal apparatus which performs various jobs directly by a user and accesses the image forming apparatus or the external apparatus such as a server. Examples of the user terminal apparatus may include a smartphone, a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a tablet personal computer (PC), and the like. In addition, the user terminal apparatus may include a display and an image forming apparatus connectable to the external apparatus.
[0026] A “speed-reading profile” may refer to an assembly of setting information including arrangement of contents included in a document, and attribute values such as a size or a color of a sentence or a word so that the user may rapidly read the document. The speed-reading profile may be individually set according to a user.
[0027] An “important word” in the speed-reading profile may refer to data regarding information within the document to be recognized or remembered by the user. The important word may refer to data included in a template normalized in a document according to a type of business. The important word may include one or more words selected by the user. For example, in a case of an accounting document, the important word may be data such as a number, a total (e.g., a sum), a date, and the like. In a case of a medical document, the important word may be data such as a patient’s name, a patient number, a caution (e.g., a warning), a name of a disease, and the like.
[0028] In various cases, a user may read a document to obtain information from the document. In certain cases, the user may read many various documents to obtain information. If the user reads the documents by speed reading, the information may be obtained within a shorter period of time. The speed reading may refer to a state of quickly recognizing an aspect of the document such as a letter and may refer to “looking and understanding,” as opposed to “reading and understanding.” The speed reading method may vary depending on the user. Accordingly, examples of the disclosure propose an image forming method for setting a speed-reading profile for rapidly reading a document according to a user and proceeding with an image forming job by applying the set speed-reading profile.
[0029] FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an image forming system according to an example.
[0030] Referring to FIG. 1 , the image forming system may include an image forming apparatus 100, a server 200, and a user terminal apparatus 300. The image forming apparatus 100 may transmit and receive data related to an image forming job to and from the user terminal apparatus 300. In addition, the image forming apparatus 100 may be connected to the server 200 and the server 200 may be connected to the user terminal apparatus 300. In this case, the image forming apparatus 100 may transmit and receive data related to an image forming job to and from the user terminal apparatus 300 via the server 200. A plurality of image forming apparatuses 100-1 and 100-2 may be connected to the user terminal apparatus 300 directly or via the server 200. Further, the number of the user terminal apparatuses 300 may be more than one.
[0031] Using the user terminal apparatus 300, a user may generate document data to be printed and input an image forming job command regarding the generated document data. The user terminal apparatus 300 which has received the image forming job command from the user may generate page description language (PDL) data including the document data and attribute information of the document. The PDL data may include, for example, printer command language (PCL), postscript (PS), and the like. The user terminal apparatus 300 may transmit the generated PDL data to the image forming apparatus 100. As described above, the user terminal apparatus 300 may transmit the PDL data to the image forming apparatus 100 directly or via the server 200.
[0032] The image forming apparatus 100 may set a speed-reading profile in response to a selection of the user. The setting of the speed-reading profile may refer to a process in which the image forming apparatus 100 selects an attribute item of the speed-reading profile and sets a value for the selected attribute item in response to the input of the user. The image forming apparatus 100 may print the document data by applying the speed-reading profile. The speed-reading profile may include a set value for a print method of the document data so that the user is able to rapidly read a document. For example, the speed reading profile may include an attribute such as a column formation attribute, a line tilt attribute, a word size change attribute, a line identifier insertion attribute, an important word highlight included in a template based on information of the template attribute, and the like. The column formation attribute may include setting the document data with a plurality of columns and setting a font size for each of the plurality of set columns. The line tilt attribute may include setting a tilt of each line of the document data. When the document is set with the plurality of columns, the line tilt may be set for each of the plurality of columns. The word size change attribute may include postpositional particle size reduction, negative size enlargement, word size change according to a frequency, designated key word size change, designated key word color setting, and the like. In a case of printing the document data in color, the line identifier insertion attribute may include setting a color for a last word of a previous line and a first word of a following line in regard to a phrase connected across the two lines. In a case of printing the document data in black and white, the line identifier insertion attribute may include setting boxes with a set pattern for a last word of a previous line and a first word of a following line in regard to a phrase connected across the two lines. The important word highlight included in a template based on information of the template attribute may include setting a highlight attribute to a word related to a number, a total, a name, a caution (e.g., a warning), and the like.
[0033] For example, the speed-reading profile may be set on the image forming apparatus 100 by the user. The image forming apparatus 100 may add the attribute information of the set speed-reading profile to an attribute information area or a field of the PDL data. The image forming apparatus 100 may extract the attribute information and the document data to be printed from the received PDL data. Since the attribute information of the speed-reading profile is added to the PDL data, the image forming apparatus 100 may extract the attribute information of the document, the speed-reading profile attribute information, and the document data to be printed. The image forming apparatus 100 may print the document data based on the attribute information of the document and the speed reading profile attribute information.
[0034] In an example, the speed-reading profile set on the image forming apparatus 100 may be stored to correspond to the information of the user for whom the speed-reading profile is set. For example, the user information may be identified on the image forming apparatus 100. In an example, the user may input authentication information on the image forming apparatus 100. For example, the authentication information may include identification information, a password, information stored in an authentication card, and the like. If the input authentication information includes authentication information of a user with an output authority, the image forming apparatus 100 may perform an image forming job. The image forming apparatus 100 may identify the information of the user based on the input authentication information and store the set speed-reading profile to correspond to the information of the user.
[0035] In addition, the image forming apparatus 100 may receive the user information from the server 200 or the user terminal apparatus 300. In an example, the user terminal apparatus 300 may transmit the user information when transmitting the PDL data. Alternatively, the server 200 may identify the identification information of the user terminal apparatus 300 transmitting the PDL data as the user information when the PDL data is received from the user terminal apparatus 300, and may transmit the user information to the image forming apparatus 100 together with the PDL data. Alternatively, the server 200 may receive the authentication information input from the image forming apparatus 100 and identify the user information corresponding to the input authentication information. The server 200 may transmit the confirmed user information to the image forming apparatus 100. The image forming apparatus 100 may store the set speed-reading profile to correspond to the information of the user.
[0036] In an example, the speed-reading profile may be set on the user terminal apparatus 300. The user may generate document data to be printed and set the speed-reading profile on the user terminal apparatus 300. The user may input an image forming job command regarding the generated document data. The user terminal apparatus 300 may set PDL data including document data, attribute information of a document, speed-reading profile attribute information, and the like. The user terminal apparatus 300 may transmit the generated PDL data to the image forming apparatus 100. The image forming apparatus 100 may extract the attribute information of the document, the speed-reading profile attribute information, and the document data to be printed from the received PDL data. The image forming apparatus 100 may print the document data based on the attribute information of the document and the speed-reading profile attribute information.
[0037] FIG. 2 is a flowchart illustrating an image forming method of an image forming apparatus according to an example. The example of FIG. 2 illustrates a method of setting a speed-reading profile on an image forming apparatus.
[0038] Referring to FIG. 2, the image forming apparatus may receive PDL data including document data in operation S210. The image forming apparatus may receive the PDL data directly from a user terminal apparatus. Alternatively, the image forming apparatus may receive the PDL data via a server. For example, the PDL data may include document data to be printed, attribute information of a document, print attribute information, and the like. [0039] The image forming apparatus may set a speed-reading profile in operation S220. For example, the speed-reading profile may include an attribute such as column formation attribute, a line tilt attribute, a word size change attribute, a line identifier insertion attribute, an important word highlight included in a template based on information of the template attribute, and the like. The column formation attribute may be an attribute for setting the document data with a plurality of columns and setting a font size for each of the plurality of set columns. The line tilt attribute may be an attribute for setting a tilt for each of the plurality of set columns. In an example, when the document data is set with two columns by the column formation attribute, the line tilt attribute with the same tilt may be set to both of the columns, or the line tilt attribute with tilts different from each other may be set for each of the columns. In an example, the line tilt attribute may include an attribute for disposing the line in an elliptical shape. If the document data is set with one column without any change of the column formation attribute, the line tilt attribute may be the attribute for setting the line tilt for the one column. The word size change attribute may include an attribute such as postpositional particle size reduction, negative size enlargement, word size change according to a frequency, designated key word size change, designated key word color setting, and the like.
[0040] In a case of printing the document data in color, the line identifier insertion attribute may be an attribute for setting a color for a last word of a previous line and a first word of a following line in regard to a phrase connected across the two lines. The color may be a preset color. In an example, the line identifier insertion attribute may be an attribute for setting a first color for a last word of a previous line and a first word of a following line in regard to a phrase connected across the two lines, and setting a second color for a last word of a previous line and a first word of a following line in regard to a phrase connected across following two lines. In a case of printing the document data in black and white, the line identifier insertion attribute may be an attribute for setting boxes with a pattern for a last word of a previous line and a first word of a following line in regard to a phrase connected across the two lines. The pattern may be a preset pattern. In an example, the line identifier insertion attribute may be an attribute for setting boxes with a first pattern for a last word of a previous line and a first word of a following line in regard to a phrase connected across the two lines, and setting boxes with a second pattern for a last word of a previous line and a first word of a following line in regard to a phrase connected across following two lines. [0041] The important word highlight included in a template based on information of the template attribute may be an attribute for setting a highlight attribute to at least one word related to a number, a total, a name, or a caution (e.g., a warning). For example, in a case of an accounting document, the word such as a number, a total (e.g., a sum), and the like may be the important word. In a case of a medical document, a word such as a patient’s name, a patient number, a warning, a name of a disease, and the like may be the important word. In addition, the highlight attribute may include setting the word in bold or underlined, inserting a set color or pattern, and the like.
[0042] The image forming apparatus may print the document data by applying the set speed-reading profile to the received PDL data in operation S230. For example, the image forming apparatus may add the attribute information of the speed-reading profile to an attribute information area or a field of the received PDL data. The image forming apparatus may extract the attribute information and the document data to be printed from the PDL data. In other words, the image forming apparatus may extract the attribute information of the document, the speed-reading profile attribute information, and the document data to be printed from the PDL data. In addition, the image forming apparatus may extract the print attribute information from the PDL data. The image forming apparatus may print the document data based on the attribute information of the document and the speed-reading profile attribute information.
[0043] In an example, the speed-reading profile set on the image forming apparatus may be stored to correspond to the information of the user for whom the speed-reading profile is set. Accordingly, when printing the next document data, the user who has set the speed-reading profile may apply the stored speed reading profile set by the user.
[0044] In an example, the image forming method described above may be implemented as a program and provided to the image forming apparatus. In particular, the program including the image forming method may be stored and provided in a non-transitory computer readable medium.
[0045] FIG. 3 is a flowchart illustrating an image forming method of an image forming system. The example of FIG. 3 illustrates a method of setting a speed-reading profile on a user terminal apparatus.
[0046] Referring to FIG. 3, the user terminal apparatus may generate PDL data including document data in operation S310. A user may generate the document data to be printed on the user terminal apparatus and input an image forming job command for the generated document data. The user terminal apparatus 300 which has received the image forming job command from the user may generate PDL data including the document data, the attribute information of the document, and the like. The user terminal apparatus may set the speed reading profile in operation S320 and the user terminal apparatus may add the attribute information of the speed-reading profile to the PDL data in operation S330.
[0047] Alternatively, the user terminal apparatus may generate the document data and set the speed-reading profile. The user terminal apparatus may generate the image forming job command for the document data generated by the user. The user terminal apparatus may generate the PDL data including the document data to be printed, the attribute information of the document, the attribute information of the speed-reading profile, the print attribute information, and the like.
[0048] The user terminal apparatus may transmit the PDL data, to which the attribute information of the set speed-reading profile is added, to an image forming apparatus in operation S340. The user terminal apparatus may transmit the PDL data directly to the image forming apparatus. Alternatively, the user terminal apparatus may transmit the PDL data to the image forming apparatus via a server. The image forming apparatus may receive the PDL data from the user terminal apparatus directly or via the server.
[0049] The image forming apparatus may identify the attribute information of the speed-reading profile from the received PDL data in operation S350. The image forming apparatus may extract the attribute information of the document, the speed-reading profile attribute information, the document data to be printed, and the like from the received PDL data. The image forming apparatus may print the document data by applying the identified attribute information of the speed reading profile in operation S360.
[0050] FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating instructions stored in a computer- readable storage medium according to an example.

[0057] FIG. 6A is a diagram illustrating attribute information of an image forming job according to an example and FIG. 6B is a diagram illustrating attribute information of an image forming job including a speed-reading profile according to an example. Example attribute information of an image forming job will be described with reference to FIGS. 6A and 6B.
[0058] Referring to FIG. 6A, the image forming apparatus may receive PDL data 30a including document attribute information and file attribute information. In an example, the PDL data may include file information, a document data name, a user’s name, an image forming job’s name, and the like. The image forming apparatus may extract the document attribute information, the file attribute information, and the like from the received PDL data and print the document data based on the extracted attribute information.
[0059] Referring to FIG. 6B, the PDL data may include speed-reading profile attribute information 31. If the speed-reading profile is generated on the image forming apparatus, the image forming apparatus may add the speed-reading profile attribute information to the received PDL data. The speed-reading profile attribute information generated on the image forming apparatus may be added to the PDL data and may be extracted together with other attribute information and applied to the print data, when performing the image forming job.
[0061] FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating document data generated according to an example, FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating document data to which a column formation attribute is applied according to an example, FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating document data to which a column formation attribute and a line tilt attribute are applied according to an example, FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating document data to which a column formation attribute, a word size change attribute, and a line tilt attribute are applied according to an example, and FIG. 11 is a diagram illustrating document data to which a line identifier insertion attribute and a column formation attribute are applied according to an example. Referring to FIGS. 7 to 11 , document data to which a speed-reading profile is applied will be described.
[0062] Referring to FIG. 7, a user may generate document data. In an example, a user terminal apparatus or an image forming apparatus may set a speed-reading profile according to a selection of the user. For example, referring to FIG. 8, the user terminal apparatus or the image forming apparatus may set a column formation attribute. The column formation attribute may be set with a plurality of columns such as two or more columns. In addition, a font size for each column may be set. The font size may be set as the same size for all of the columns and may be set with different sizes for each of the plurality of columns. [0063] Referring to FIG. 9, the user terminal apparatus or the image forming apparatus may set the line tilt attribute. For example, when the angle is set with a (+) angle such as + 5 degrees or + 10 degrees, the tilt of each line may be set so as to tilt downwards in a right direction with respect to the horizontal line. In addition, when the angle is set with a (-) angle such as - 5 degrees or - 10 degrees, the tilt of each line may be set so as to tilt upwards in the right direction with respect to the horizontal line. When the document data is set with a plurality of columns, the line tilt may be set with the same tilt for all of the plurality of columns or may be set with different tilts for each of the plurality of columns. In addition, the line tilt may be set to arrange each line in an elliptical shape.
[0064] FIG. 10 illustrates document data to which an example two-column formation and a postpositional particle attribute of the word size change attribute are applied. For example, the word size change attribute may include postpositional particle size reduction, size enlargement of a negative of a verb, word size change according to a frequency, designated key word size change, designated key word color setting, and the like. When setting the speed-reading profile, the line tilt attribute may be added in a state where the column formation and the size change attribute are set. As described above, when the document data may be set with the plurality of columns, the line tilt may be set with different tilts for each of the plurality of columns. In other words, for example, referring to FIG. 10, the line tilt of a left column may be set as + 5 degrees and the line tilt of a right column may be set as - 5 degrees.
[0065] FIG. 11 illustrates document data to which a line identifier insertion attribute is applied. For example, the line identifier insertion attribute may refer to an attribute for setting colors or boxes with a pattern for a last word of a previous line and a first word of a following line in regard to a phrase connected across the two lines. The user terminal apparatus or the image forming apparatus may set colors or pattern boxes different from each other for each of a pair of lines. In an example, when the document data is printed in color, the line identifier insertion attribute may be set with colors, and when the document data is printed in black and white, the line identifier insertion attribute may be set with boxes having a pattern. When setting the speed-reading profile, the column formation attribute may be added in a state where the line identifier insertion attribute is set. Referring to FIG. 11 , when adding the column formation attribute and the postpositional particle size reduction attribute, the added attribute may be added in a state where the line identifier insertion attribute is applied. Flowever, if the number of columns is changed due to the addition of the column formation attribute, the word applied with the line identifier insertion attribute may be changed in response to the line formation. In an example, when the column formation attribute is set, a guide from a last word of each column to a first word of the following column may be added. [0066] The column formation attribute, the line tilt attribute, the word size change attribute, the line identifier insertion attribute, and the key word highlight attribute included in a template based on information of the template may be set individually or at least two attributes may be applied together. The user terminal apparatus or the image forming apparatus may display the document data to which the speed-reading profile attribute is applied in a preview form.
[0067] An example of document data to which a speed-reading profile is applied has been described hereinafter, an example of an image forming apparatus and an example of a user terminal apparatus will be described.
