Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un montaje mecánico para la medición de rpm de un eje giratorio en dispositivos con eje giratorio. Dicho montaje mecánico comprende un dispositivo medidor de rpm, el cual incluye un eje giratorio para la medición, un soporte que aloja y mantiene fijo al mismo a dicho dispositivo medidor de rpm una caja, a la cual se encuentra fijada dicho soporte y que permite el paso de dicho eje giratorio, una primera polea de trasmisión de giro fijada al eje giratorio del dispositivo medidor de rpm, una segunda polea de trasmisión de giro fijada al eje rotatorio del dispositivo al cual se le realizará la medición de rpm, estando la caja conectada a dicho dispositivo, y una banda conectada operativamente a la primera y segunda poleas de trasmisión encontrándose en un mismo plano. Este montaje es totalmente mecánico, careciendo de elementos eléctricos y/o electrónicos por lo que el riesgo de generar chispa es nulo. El montaje es útil en varias industrias, especialmente aquellas en las cuales se utilicen solventes inflamables, por ejemplo, industria de pinturas automotrices.
