 そこで本発明は、隣り合うバスバ(電流路)を流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界の影響を抑えつつ、バスバと磁気センサが対向する方向に沿って見たときの構成の小型化を図ることができる電流検出装置を提供することを目的とする。
 上記課題を解決するために、本発明の電流検出装置は、被測定電流が流れるバスバと、バスバに対向する位置に配置された磁気センサと、バスバと磁気センサとの対向方向において、バスバと磁気センサとを間に挟むように配置された一対のシールドと、を備えた電流検出部が複数配置された電流検出装置であって、電流検出部は、それぞれが備える複数のバスバが互いに並列して延設され、対向方向に沿って見たときに、隣り合う電流検出部のシールド及び磁気センサの位置はバスバの延設方向において互いに異なっていることを特徴としている。
 これにより、隣り合うバスバを流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界の影響を抑えることができるとともに、バスバと磁気センサが対向する方向に沿って見たときの構成の小型化を図ることができる。
 本発明の電流検出装置において、バスバの延設方向に沿って見たときに、バスバが並列して配置される方向において、隣り合う電流検出部のシールドは互いに一部が重なっていることが好ましい。
 これにより、隣り合うバスバを流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界の影響を抑えることができるとともに、バスバと磁気センサが対向する方向に沿って見たときに、バスバが並列する方向における小型化を図ることができる。
 本発明の電流検出装置において、隣り合う電流検出部において、シールドの対向方向の位置は互いに同一であり、磁気センサの上記対向方向の位置は互いに同一であることが好ましい。
 これにより、シールドの対向方向のサイズを小さく抑えることができる。
 本発明の電流検出装置において、上記対向方向に沿って見たときに、一対のシールドの少なくとも一部が、隣り合う電流検出部のバスバに重なる位置まで延設されていることが好ましい。
 これにより、隣の電流検出部のバスバを被測定電流が流れたことにより発生する磁界が、電流検出部のシールドを通りやすくなるため、隣り合う電流検出部で発生する磁界による影響誤差(隣接影響誤差)を小さく抑えることが可能となる。
 本発明の電流検出装置において、対向方向に沿って見たときに、シールドは、外縁の一部に切り欠き部を有し、切り欠き部に、隣り合うシールドの外縁の一部が組み合わさることが好ましい。
 これにより、上記対向方向に沿って見たときに、隣り合うシールドをより効率的に配置することができるため、全体サイズの小型化を図ることができる。
 本発明によると、隣り合うバスバを流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界の影響を抑えつつ、バスバと磁気センサが対向する方向に沿って見たときの構成の小型化を図ることができる電流検出装置を提供することができる。

 以下、本発明の実施形態に係る電流検出装置について図面を参照しつつ詳しく説明する。
 各図には、基準座標としてX-Y-Z座標が示されている。以下の説明において、Z1-Z2方向を上下方向、X1-X2方向を前後方向、Y1-Y2方向を左右方向と称する。X1-X2方向とY1-Y2方向は互いに垂直であり、これらを含むX-Y平面はZ1-Z2方向に垂直である。また、上側(Z1側)から下側(Z2側)を見た状態を平面視と言うことがある。
 <第1実施形態>
 図1に示すように、第1実施形態における電流検出装置10は、ケース部材11と、ケース部材11内を前後方向(X1-X2方向)に貫通するように配置された、電流路としての3つのバスバ21、22、23とを備える。3つのバスバ21、22、23は互いに同一形状の長板状を有し、互いに並列されて前後方向に沿って延設されている。
 図2(b)、(c)に示すように、ケース部材11内において、3つのバスバ21、22、23のそれぞれの上方で対向する位置には、各バスバに被測定電流が流れることによって発生する磁界をそれぞれ検知可能な3つの磁気センサ61、62、63が設けられている。
 図2(c)に示すように、左側の位置において上下方向(Z1-Z2方向)で互いに対向する、第1バスバ21と第1磁気センサ61は、一対のシールド31、41によって上下から挟まれている。別言すると、第1バスバ21と第1磁気センサ61との対向方向において、一対のシールド31、41が第1バスバ21と第1磁気センサ61とを間に挟むように配置されている。これにより、上側から下側へ順に、第1上側シールド31、第1磁気センサ61、第1バスバ21、第1下側シールド41が配置され、上下に並ぶ部材どうしが互いに対向する第1電流検出部10aが構成される。
 第1電流検出部10aと同様に、中央の位置で上下方向において互いに対向する、第2バスバ22と第2磁気センサ62は、別の一対のシールド32、42によって上下から挟まれており、上側から下側へ順に、第2上側シールド32、第2磁気センサ62、第2バスバ22、第2下側シールド42が配置され、上下に並ぶ部材どうしが互いに対向する第2電流検出部10bが構成される。
 さらに、右側の位置において、上下方向で互いに対向する、第3バスバ23と第3磁気センサ63は、さらに別の一対のシールド33、43によって上下から挟まれており、上側から下側へ順に、第3上側シールド33、第3磁気センサ63、第3バスバ23、第3下側シールド43が配置され、上下に並ぶ部材どうしが互いに対向する第3電流検出部10cが構成される。
 3つの磁気センサ61、62、63は、図2(a)において第1磁気センサ61を例示するように、ケース部材11内に収容される基板50の下面上に配置されている。3つの磁気センサ61、62、63は、同一の素子であり、電流検出装置の仕様その他の条件に応じて、例えば、磁気抵抗効果素子、ホール素子が用いられる。
 図2(c)に示すように、上下方向において、3つの上側シールド31、32、33は互いに同一の位置に配置され、3つの磁気センサ61、62、63も互いに同一の位置に配置され、3つのバスバ21、22、23も互いに同一の位置に配置され、3つの下側シールド41、42、43も互いに同一の位置に配置されている。
 3つの上側シールド31、32、33、及び、3つの下側シールド41、42、43は、互いに同一の構成を有する。具体的には、それぞれのシールドは、同一の磁性材料からなる平面視長方形状の板材を5枚積層した構成を有する。
 図2(b)に示すように、左側の第1上側シールド31、第1磁気センサ61、及び、その下方の第1下側シールド41と、右側の第3上側シールド33、第3磁気センサ63、及び、その下方の第3下側シールド43と、は前後方向において同じ位置に配置されている。これらに対して、中央の第2上側シールド32、第2磁気センサ62、及び、その下方の第2下側シールド42は、これらよりも前側であって重ならない位置に配置されている。すなわち、左右方向において隣り合う電流検出部は、上下方向(第1バスバ21と第1磁気センサ61との対向方向)に沿って見たときに、シールド及び磁気センサが互いに異なる位置に配置されている。そして、3つの電流検出部は、前後方向において互い違いとなるように配置されている。
 一方、図2(b)、(c)に示すように、左右方向において隣り合う電流検出部のシールドは、前後方向、すなわち、バスバ21、22、23が並列して配置される方向(Y1-Y2方向)において、互いに一部が重なるように配置されている。
 なお、左右方向において隣り合う状態とは、図2(c)に示すように、バスバ21、22、23の延設方向に沿って見たときに、左右に並んだ状態を意味し、前後方向にずれている場合も含まれる。
 ここで、図1と図2においては、電流検出部が3つ設けられた場合を示したが、電流検出部の数は2つ又は4つ以上とすることもできる。3つ以外の場合においても、電流検出部は左右方向において隣り合うように配置され、電流検出部のシールド及び磁気センサは、上下方向に沿って見たときに、前後方向(X1-X2方向)において互い違いとなるように配置され、かつ、左右方向において互いに一部が重なっている。
 以上の構成によれば、バスバ21、22、23を並列して配置するとともに、これらが並列して並ぶ方向(Y1-Y2方向)において電流検出部間の距離を短くとることができる。このため、バスバに前後にずらすことなく左右に並列することで前後方向(X1-X2方向)のサイズを抑えることができ、シールドの入れ違い配置(千鳥配置)により左右方向(Y1-Y2方向)におけるサイズを小さくすることができる。さらに、この配置においては、シールドのサイズを小さくすることなく、バスバ21、22、23の間の距離を小さくしているため、十分なシールド性が確保されている。
 また、電流検出装置10が3つ又はそれ以上の電流検出部を有する場合には、隣り合って3つ並んだ電流検出部のうち、その両端に配置された2つの電流検出部は、図2の第1電流検出部10aと第3電流検出部10cとの位置関係のように、前後方向(バスバの延設方向)において同じ位置に配置することが好ましい。このような配置にすることで、電流検出装置10の前後方向における大型化を最小限に抑えることができる。
 以下に変形例について説明する。
 上述の、3つの上側シールド31、32、33、及び、3つの下側シールド41、42、43は、5枚の平板状の磁性材料を積層した構成を有していたが、積層数は5枚以外の任意に設定でき、又は、単層とすることもできる。
 上記実施形態においては、3つの上側シールド31、32、33、及び、3つの下側シールド41、42、43の平面視形状を長方形としていたが、図3(a)、(b)、(c)に示すように、長方形の4つの角部を内側へ切り欠いた切り欠き部を有する形状とすることができる。このような形状にすることにより、平面視において、隣り合うシールドの切り欠き部同士が噛み合うような配置が可能となるため、バスバ21、22、23の延設方向(X1-X2方向)において、3つの上側シールド31、32、33、及び、3つの下側シールド41、42、43をより狭い範囲で互い違いに配置でき、全体としてもサイズを小さく抑えることができる。また、切り欠き部が互いに噛み合うように配置することで、シールドが隣り合う電流検出部のバスバ上にかかることがない状態で、左右方向(Y1-Y2方向)における電流検出部同士の間隔を小さくすることができる。
 切り欠き部としては、図3(a)、(b)、(c)に示すような例が挙げられる。
 図3(a)の変形例1に示す3つの上側シールド131、132、133では、4つの角部を矩形状に切り欠いた切り欠き部131c、132c、133cがそれぞれ設けられており、隣り合う電流検出部の切り欠き部の縦辺(前後方向に沿って延びる辺)が互いに左右に対向するように配置することで、3つの電流検出部を左右方向及び前後方向においてコンパクトに配置することが可能となる。
 図3(b)の変形例2に示す3つの上側シールド231、232、233では、4つの角部を三角形状に切り欠いた切り欠き部231c、232c、233cがそれぞれ設けられており、隣り合う電流検出部の切り欠き部の斜辺が互いに対向するように配置することで、3つの電流検出部を左右方向及び前後方向においてコンパクトに配置することが可能となる。
 図3(c)の変形例3に示す3つの上側シールド331、332、333では、4つの角部を、変形例2よりもサイズの大きな三角形状に切り欠いた切り欠き部331c、332c、333cがそれぞれ設けられている。これにより、隣り合う切り欠き部の縦辺が互いに対向するように配置すると、変形例2の場合よりも、さらに、3つの電流検出部を左右方向及び前後方向においてコンパクトに配置することが可能となる。
 <第2実施形態>
 第2実施形態においては、シールドの一部、すなわち、左右方向の端部が、隣り合う電流検出部のバスバ上に重なる位置まで延設されている点が第1実施形態と異なる。その他の構成は第1実施形態と同様であって、同じ部材については同じ参照符号を使用し、詳細な説明は省略する。
 図4(a)に示すように、第4実施形態においては、互いに同一の構成を有する、3つの上側シールド431、432、433が設けられている。図示しないが、これらのシールドの下側には、第1実施形態と同様に、3つの磁気センサ61、62、63、及び、3つのバスバ21、22、23を挟んで、上側シールド431、432、433のそれぞれと同一の構成を有し、それぞれに対向する3つの下側シールドが設けられている。
 第1実施形態と同様に、左側の第1上側シールド431と、右側の第3上側シールド433とは前後方向において同じ位置に配置されている一方で、中央の第2上側シールド432は、これらよりも前側であって重ならない位置に配置されている。
 一方、左右方向においては、第1上側シールド431の右端部が中央の第2バスバ22に重なる位置まで延設され、第2上側シールド432では、その左端部が左側の第1バスバ21に重なり、かつ、右端部が右側の第3バスバ23に重なる位置まで延設されている。また、第3上側シールド433は、左端部が中央の第2バスバ22に重なる位置まで延設されている。
 上側シールド431、432、433のそれぞれの左右方向の端部は、隣り合うバスバに対して、同一の幅L(左右方向の幅、かかり量)で重なっている。このように、シールドの左右方向の端部を、隣り合う電流検出部のバスバ上に重なる位置まで延設することにより、隣の電流検出部のバスバを被測定電流が流れたことにより発生する磁界が、電流検出部のシールドを通りやすくなるため、隣り合う電流検出部で発生する磁界による影響誤差(隣接影響誤差)を小さく抑えることが可能となる。
 図5は、第2実施形態の実施例1、2と比較例1、2における、バスバとシールドのかかり量(単位mm)(左右方向における重なりの幅L)に対する隣接影響誤差(単位%)の変化をシミュレーションによって得た結果を示すグラフである。ここで、隣接影響誤差は、隣り合うバスバに被測定電流を流した場合と流さない場合のそれぞれで測定される磁界の測定値の差を、流さない場合に測定された測定値で除した数値に基づく比率である。
 実施例1、2は図4(a)に示す構成において以下のように数値を設定している。
(1)シールドの端部とバスバの重なり幅(かかり量)L
  実施例1 -6mm~6mm、実施例2 -4mm~4mm
  ここで、かかり量Lがゼロ又は負のときシールドとバスバは重なっておらず、ゼロのときは両者の左右方向の端面の位置が一致しており、負のときは両者の端面はその数値だけ互いに離間している。
(2)バスバ21、22、23の幅W:実施例1、2ともに10mm
(3)隣り合うバスバ21、22、23同士の間隔P(ピッチ)
  実施例1 16mm、実施例2 14mm
 比較例1、2は、図4(b)に示す構成を有する。具体的には、第2実施形態と同様に、3つのバスバ21、22、23が左右方向に並列して配置され、これらのバスバ21、22、23のそれぞれに対して上下方向において3つの磁気センサ(不図示)が配置され、さらに、互いに対向するバスバと磁気センサをそれぞれ上下から挟むように、3つの上側シールド531、532、533と、3つの下側シールド(不図示)が配置され、これにより、左右方向に並列して3つの電流検出部が配置される。ここで、3つの上側シールド531、532、533及びそれぞれに対向する下側シールド(不図示)は、前後方向における同じ位置において、左右方向に沿って延在するようにそれぞれ配置され、それぞれの左右方向の両端部は隣り合うシールドの端部と離間している。
 比較例1、2は図4(b)に示す構成において以下のように数値を設定している。
(1)シールドの端部とバスバの距離(左右方向):
 この距離は、シールドの端部と、このシールドと上下方向に対向しているバスバの端部との距離であり、例えば、バスバ21の左端部とシールド531の左端部との距離である。
  比較例1  2mm、比較例2  1mm
(2)バスバ21、22、23の幅W:比較例1、2ともに10mm
(3)隣り合うバスバ21、22、23同士の間隔P(ピッチ):
  比較例1 16mm、比較例2 14mm
  したがって、隣り合うバスバ同士の間隔Pについては、比較例1と実施例1が互いに同一であり、比較例2と実施例2も互いに同一である。
 図5において、隣り合うバスバ同士の間隔Pが同一である比較例1と実施例1を比較すると、比較例1の隣接影響誤差約0.75%に対して、実施例1においてかかり量が-4mmを超えて増えるにつれて隣接影響誤差が低くなっていき、かかり量が2mm以上となると0.6%以下という低い値が実現される。したがって、かかり量を設定することにより隣接影響誤差を低く抑えることが可能であることが分かる。
 比較例2と実施例2を比較した場合においても、比較例2の隣接影響誤差約1.35%に対して、実施例2においてかかり量が約-1.5mmを超えて増えるにつれて隣接影響誤差が低くなっていき、かかり量が2mm以上となると1.23%以下という低い値が実現される。よって、かかり量を設定することにより隣接影響誤差を低く抑えることが可能であることに加え、実施例1と実施例2の結果から、バスバの幅に応じてかかり量を設定することで、様々な幅のバスバにおいて、かかり量による隣接影響誤差の制御を行うことができることが分かる。
 なお、その他の作用、効果、変形例は第1実施形態と同様である。
 <第3実施形態>
 第3実施形態においては、図6(a)、(b)に示すように、隣り合う3つの電流検出部の3対のバスバ(上側シールド631、632、633と下側シールド641、642、643)を上下方向において互い違いに配置し、かつ、前後方向においては同一の位置に配置している点が第1実施形態と異なる。その他の構成は第1実施形態と同様であって、同じ部材については詳細な説明は省略する。
 図6(b)に示すように、3つのバスバ621、622、623は、第1・第2実施形態と同様に、左右方向(Y1-Y2方向)に並列して配置され、かつ、それぞれが前後方向に延設されている。3つのバスバ621、622、623の上方には、それぞれと対向するように、3つの磁気センサ661、662、663が配置されている。
 さらに、図6(a)に示すように、互いに対向する第1バスバ621及び第1磁気センサ661を上下から挟むように、第1上側シールド631及び第1下側シールド641が互いに上下に対向するように配置され、これらにより第1電流検出部60aが構成される。同様に、互いに対向する第2バスバ622及び第1磁気センサ662を上下から挟むように、第2上側シールド632及び第2下側シールド642が互いに上下に対向するように配置され、これらにより第2電流検出部60bが構成される。さらに、互いに対向する第3バスバ623及び第3磁気センサ663を上下から挟むように、第3上側シールド633及び第1下側シールド643が互いに上下に対向するように配置され、これらにより第3電流検出部60cが構成される。
 図6(a)に示すように、上下方向において、第2電流検出部60bは、互いに同じ位置に配置された、第1電流検出部60a及び第3電流検出部60cよりも下側に配置される。さらに、図6(a)、(b)に示すように、第2電流検出部60bにおける、第2上側シールド632及び第2下側シールド642の左右の両端部は、第1電流検出部60a内、又は、第3電流検出部60c内において、磁気センサやバスバに接触しない位置まで入り込んでいる。
 以上の構成によれば、3つのバスバを前後方向にずらすことなく左右方向に並列させることができるため、バスバの延設方向(X1-X2方向)におけるサイズアップを抑えることができる。また、左右方向において隣り合うシールドをオーバーラップさせているため、左右方向におけるサイズを抑えることができる。
 本発明について上記実施形態を参照しつつ説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、改良の目的又は本発明の思想の範囲内において改良又は変更が可能である。
 以上のように、本発明に係る電流検出装置は、隣り合うバスバを流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界の影響を抑えつつ、バスバと磁気センサが対向する方向に沿って見たときの構成の小型化を図ることができる点で有用である。

Claims (5)

  1.  被測定電流が流れるバスバと、
     前記バスバに対向する位置に配置された磁気センサと、
     前記バスバと前記磁気センサとの対向方向において、前記バスバと前記磁気センサとを間に挟むように配置された一対のシールドと、
    を備えた電流検出部が複数配置された電流検出装置であって、
     前記電流検出部は、それぞれが備える複数の前記バスバが互いに並列して延設され、
     前記対向方向に沿って見たときに、隣り合う前記電流検出部の前記シールド及び前記磁気センサの位置は前記バスバの延設方向において互いに異なっていることを特徴とする電流検出装置。
  2.  前記バスバの延設方向に沿って見たときに、前記バスバが並列して配置される方向において、隣り合う前記電流検出部の前記シールドは互いに一部が重なっている請求項1に記載の電流検出装置。
  3.  隣り合う前記電流検出部において、前記シールドの前記対向方向の位置は互いに同一であり、前記磁気センサの前記対向方向の位置は互いに同一である請求項2に記載の電流検出装置。
  4.  前記対向方向に沿って見たときに、前記一対のシールドの少なくとも一部が、隣り合う前記電流検出部の前記バスバに重なる位置まで延設されている請求項2又は請求項3に記載の電流検出装置。
  5.  前記対向方向に沿って見たときに、前記シールドは、外縁の一部に切り欠き部を有し、前記切り欠き部に、隣り合う前記シールドの外縁の一部が組み合わさる請求項2から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の電流検出装置。
