Description
A DRYER USING A MOISTURE TRAP TO EXPEL MOISTURE
Technical Field
This invention relates to a dryer that allows the humidity to be expelled from the chimney through the heated air without cooling it by using its moisture traps, and the hot air is sent back between the products, instead of expelling the moisture generated by the heated air passing through the products while drying the textile products.
Prior Art Dryers are used for drying wet textile products by heating the air. Cold air is heated in dryers to dry laundry and similar products. Air is first taken from outside as cold and heated by energy sources such as natural gas, electricity or steam and sent between the products to perform the drying process. Hot air is passed through wet products to dry textiles. As the hot air passes through the products, the moisture taken is thrown out through the chimney. Since the constantly evacuation of the moisture from the chimney requires the air to be continuously heated, the drying process is carried out by continuously consuming energy. Therefore, today there is a need for solutions that will ensure the expell of moisture without cooling the hot air and ensure that the hot air is sent back between the products, thus saving fuel. In the patent document No 2012/10625, which is in the state of the art, a laundry dryer is mentioned. The dryer subject to the invention comprised of
a rotary drum with a laundry drying cavity, a loading/unloading gap for access to the drying cavity, a door for closing/opening the loading/unloading gap, tools for drawing water from the laundry in the drying gap, a collection container that defines an interior volume from which the water drawn from the laundry is taken.
Short Description of Invention
The object of the present invention is to realize a dryer that allows the humidity to be expelled without cooling the air with a humidifier and the hot air to be used for the drying process, instead of expelling the moisture taken from the chimney by passing the hot air through the products during the drying phase of the textile products.

A dryer (1) subject to the invention, whereby, is used for drying textile products, which provides energy consumption by keeping the moisture inside and discharging the hot air before the moisture is discharged and reducing the need for continuous heating of the air, comprising;
-at least one chassis (2),
- at least one drum (3) in the chassis (2), in which the drying process is carried out, performing a rotational movement and on which at least one spindle (4) is located,
- at least one drum bearing (5) located on the chassis (2), which is a bedding for the rotational movement of the drum (3),
- at least one motor (6) located on the chassis (2) and providing the rotational movement required for the drum (3),
- at least one motor pulley (7) located on the chassis (2) and receiving motion from the motor (6),
- at least one main pulley (8) located on the chassis (2) and transfers the movement received from the motor pulley (7) from the drum bearing (5) to the spindle (4),
- at least one belt (9) that transmits the movement between the motor pulley (7) and the main pulley (8),
- at least one burner (10) located on the chassis (2), used to supply hot air into the drum (3), preferably using gas as an energy source, - comprising at least one circulation fan (11) located on the chassis (2), used to pump the heated air into the drum (3),
- at least one dehumidifier serpentine (12), which is located on the chassis (2), where the hot air gets humidified when it encounters the products to be dried in the drum (3), which consists of a large number of moisture traps (13) and is used as a moisture trap, and - at least one chimney used to expel the moisture taken by the dehumidifying coil (12) outside the chassis (2).
The dryer (1) subject to the present invention also comprises at least one dust filter (15) in which dust-like particles coming from the dried textile products are collected in the drum (3) located on the chassis (2).
The chassis (2) subject to the invention comprises at least one drum (3) rotating with the movement it receives from the motor (6) by means of the spindle (4). The drum (3) is comprised of at least one loading gap and the spindle (4) on the opposite surface of the loading gap. The spindle (4) is connected to the chassis (2) from the drum bearing (5) and transfers the rotational movement it receives from the main pulley (8) to the drum (3).
In the dryer (1) subject to the present invention, the main pulley (8) is connected to the motor pulley (7) with a belt (9). The motor pulley (7) transmits the movement it receives from the motor (6) to the main pulley (8) via the belt (9). Thus, the rotational movement is given to the drum (3) through the movement taken from the motor (6).
In the present invention, there is a gas burner (10) and two circulation fans (11) in the part of the chassis (2) close to the ground. The gas burner (10) is used to heat the air and the heated air is given into the drum (3) by the circulation fans (11). When the hot air encounters the wet textile products in the drum (3), it is moistened.
In the dryer (1) subject to the present invention, the dehumidifier serpentine (12) contains a large number of moisture traps (13) made of gypsum derivatives. In the preferred embodiment, the moistue traps (13) can be in triangular, angular, circular or other shapes with plenty inside. The circulation fan (11) transmits the humidified hot air towards the dehumidifier serpentine (12) and hits the moisture traps (13). Thus, in the dehumidifier serpentine (12), the moisture traps (13) take the moisture in the hot air and throw it out over the chimney (14) connected to the dehumidifier serpentine at one end. While the dehumidifier serpentine (12) expels the moisture through the chimney (14), it returns the hot air to the drum (3) on the other hand. In this way, energy is saved as there is no need to take cold air from outside and to heat it.
It is possible to develop a wide variety of applications of a dryer (1) that uses a moisture trap for the discharge of the moisture and the present invention cannot be limited to the examples described herein, it is essentially as described in the claims.
