Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés et un appareil pour la suppression de la luminescence de l'œil dans des systèmes de guide d'ondes. Certains modes de réalisation des procédés et de l'appareil comprennent un affichage à base de guide d'ondes comprenant un guide d'ondes comprenant un élément optique de couplage et un élément optique de couplage extérieur, l'élément optique de couplage étant configuré pour coupler en parallèle une image contenant de la lumière et l'élément optique de couplage de sortie étant configuré pour coupler en sortie la lumière de comptage d'image vers un utilisateur, le guide d'ondes comprenant une surface extérieure et une surface intérieure opposée à la surface extérieure, et la surface intérieure étant plus proche de l'utilisateur que la surface extérieure ; et une couche de blocage de lumière partielle au-dessus de la surface extérieure du guide d'ondes opposée à l'utilisateur, la couche de blocage de lumière partielle étant conçue pour empêcher la lumière de la luminescence de l'oeil de pénétrer dans l'environnement à l'extérieur de la surface extérieure du guide d'ondes.
