- a presence sensor is arranged that can detect the removal of capsule 400 from its corresponding holder, for example vaporizing or atomizing device, and the sensor is in operative connection with controller 386.
- the sensor signal indicating the removal can be processed by controller 386 to automatically close first openings 330A-330C.
- the presence sensor can be but is not limited to an optical sensor detecting light reflection of a light reflective layer on capsule 300, can be a touch sensor that detects contact of capsule 400 to holder, a capacitive sensor that detects a presence of another object, i.e. the holder.
