Description
WASHING MACHINE AUXILIARY FLAPS
Technological Area:
This invention is about the washing machine auxiliary flaps in textile machinery industry, that can be used in speeding up washing processes of textile fabrics and products with chemicals, pumice and derivatives including denim washing, piece dyeing and bleaching of textile fabrics and products.
State of the Art:
Industrial washing machines are used for many years especially in textile industry. Industrial washing machines are quite big compared to domestic washing machines and are able to wash hundreds of kilos of textile products at once. The drum inside it where the products to be washed are placed in, is a piece with a cylindrical shape. It's also one of the most important components of the washing machine. Tumbler structures are being continuously improved in order to enhance the washing machine performance.
Today, in order for denim fabrics used in jean production to get various effects and make their different parts to look different, the indigo dye on them needs to be partly removed. For this abrasion process takes place. Abrasion is a basic and important process of washing. In this method, ready-made products are washed using pumice stone. With the help of stones used, products are rubbed to each other faster and a washing effect is obtained.
For abrasion process, in addition to the chemicals used in tumbler machines, desired effects are obtained by spinning pumice stones or chemicals designated for the amount of textile loaded, inside the machine.
Tumbler systems used in stone washing and dyeing machines are generally in cylindrical and plain body form and there are holes on this cylindrical body's surface drilled at desired distances to each other. In these machines with cylindrical and plain surface tumblers, textile materials that goes through stone washing or dyeing, are generally not able to demonstrate the desired bleaching effect.
There are 3-4-5 pieces of breaker and spreader flaps on the inner tumbler of conventional washing machines. As a result of these flaps crashing across with products during washing and using pumice, pearlite and various chemicals, desired effects are tried to be obtained on the fabric within 30 min. to 150 min. due to the product type. Small flaps are parallel to the main flaps in current systems. Due to this parallel placement they have difficulty spreading the products.
In the patent application numbered TR201820996 "Multi layered inner tumbler structure specific to dyeing and washing machines" is described. The invention is about the inner tumbler mechanism specific to dyeing and washing machines used in textile industry and it's characteristic is; replacing a four quarter-circle formed parts at the space between the outer tumbler and the pored inner tumbler, located in a way to fit in between the big inner pallets on the pored inner tumbler and wrapping all around the outer surface of the pored inner tumbler. Each one end of the opposing two of these four quarter-circle formed parts, are closed by the starting place of the inner pallet. While one end of the remaining two quarter-circle formed parts is open, the other is closed and this way there are two opposing flap forms established on the pored inner tumbler. The system consists of the outer tumbler, pored inner tumbler, big inner pallet, inner pallet holes, small inner pallet, quarter-circle formed part, liquid storing space and the liquid carrying pallet.
In the patent application numbered TR201807441 “A long-life tumbler for washing machines" is described. The invention is about the industrial type washing machines consisting of a lid placed on the front part of the body, an inner tumbler and an outer tumbler placed inside the body and engine, pulley, belt and bearing components enabling the rotation of the inner tumbler on the outer tumbler and its' characteristic is; involving a strengthening layer inside the inner tumbler to prevent wearing of the inner
surface of inner tumbler and intended to make abrasion on washed products, said strengthening layer being separate from the inner tumbler, the strengthening layer being formed by combining several strengthening profiles, strengthening layer having holes to enable water circulation, strengthening layer being designed in an indented form to enhance the abrasion performance.
In the patent applications mentioned above, textile product washing machines are described. For the tumbler structures they involve, said products are not able to make bleaching process of textile products efficiently. In addition, these products are disadvantageous by means of cost.
In conclusion there's a need for a low-cost, long-life, durable new technology with an efficient performance that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above, increases the crashing area of products during washing, saves on time, provides a homogeneous effect on products, low on labor cost, enables recycling of material consumptions such as pumice stone, pearlite etc.
Definition of Invention:
This invention is the washing machine auxiliary flaps that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above and its' characteristic is; being a low-cost, long-life, durable new technology with an efficient performance that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above, increases the crashing area of products during washing, saves on time, provides a homogeneous effect on products, low on labor cost, enables recycling of material consumptions such as pumice stone, pearlite etc.
The product subject to invention is placed on existing flaps perpendicularly, horizontally and crosswise in various angles and the crashing surface of products is increased. Thanks to these increased areas, both time is saved and products are better separated thus the effect is obtained equally on all surfaces.
The products are able to be effected equally and earlier than the desired time. This advantage is achieved by placing additional flaps on main flaps from both sides, right and left, perpendicularly, horizontally and crosswise in various angles according to match the tumbler volume, this way the crashing areas is increased and a homogeneous effect is obtained.
Thanks to the auxiliary flaps both time and product quality is saved as well as consumption of labor/time, chemicals, pumice stone, pearlite etc. are able to be recycled.
The product subject to invention is implemented in a fixed or variable system with perpendicular angle or crosswise angles to main flaps. In addition, these small flaps are parallel to main flaps in other systems. Due to being parallel, they have difficulty in spreading products. As seen in figures, pants and textile products are spreaded homogenously in our invention with its' perpendicular and angular touch to products simultaneously.
As the parts consisting the invention are able to be fixed on each other easily, it's installed very easily and with its' short assembly time the costs are also low. In addition, the invention has a solid structure.
