Abstract

The invention relates to an automatic corpse washing system developed for washing the bodies of people with infectious diseases before burial with minimal and short-term contact against the risk of contamination. In order to eliminate the risk of contamination that may occur between the corpse and the operator who will carry out the washing process during burial, cremation procedures or before medical practices such as cadaver, dissection of the bodies of persons with infectious diseases, an automatic corpse washing system has been developed in order to eliminate the risk of contamination.

Description

AUTOMATIC CORPSE WASHING SYSTEM
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to an automatic corpse washing system developed for washing the corpses of people with infectious diseases before burial with minimal and short-term contact against the risk of contamination.
PRIOR ART
In general, as in many cultures and medical fields, the process of washing the bodies is performed before burial, cremation or during cadaver, dissection and similar medical practices. While the corpse washing process must comply with certain religious requirements, it can also be carried out without any specific order. However, for corpse washing, a special area and an operator to carry out the washing process are required in any case.
In accordance with Islamic methods, the washing of the corpse positioned on a flat surface is carried out by the gassal (corpse bather) in the area called gasilhane (corpse bathing place) in accordance with certain religious requirements before burial. In other beliefs, bodies are also washed as preparations before burial or cremation. Medically, especially before cadaver and dissection, the process of washing the corpse is carried out.
In current applications, bodies are washed directly by the operators in areas where cleaning is suitable after washing with clean water. However, in the field of corpse washing, development studies are carried out especially for portability and disinfection needs.
In the application document with file number JPS61249901 A, a corpse washing equipment is mentioned, which can be integrated into the hearse, where the corpse can be placed on a pool where the washing water can be stored and removed, and has an intermittent transport stand that allows the washing water to pass to the lower part. In the application document with file number TR 2009 07758, it is mentioned that a disinfection device is integrated in the corpse transport vehicle, which includes a corpse washing equipment.
In the application document with the file number CN206981288 (U), a washing unit with a movable shower head developed for washing the pre-cadaver corpse on the dissection table is mentioned.
When the patent / utility model applications of all methods and developments mentioned above are examined, it is understood that corpse washing is an operation that requires high contact risk and contact time by a continuous operator. However, this creates a high risk for the person washing the bodies that carry the risk of contamination, especially in infectious disease outbreaks, and causes the risk of both the washer and the people around them.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In order to eliminate the risk of contamination that may occur between the corpse and the operator who will carry out the washing process during burial, cremation procedures or before medical practice such as cadaver, dissection of the bodies of persons with infectious diseases, an automatic corpse washing system has been developed in order to eliminate the risk of contamination.
In the automatic corpse washing system, which is the subject of the invention, the corpse carrying infectious disease is transferred into the washing and drying cabinet (1 ) via the moving first transport conveyor (2) and during the automatic movement of the corpse on the moving conveyor belt (1.1) in the washing and drying cabinet (1 ), it is washed with clean water and disinfectant in the cabinet (1 ) and then dried and transferred from the cabin (1 ) to the moving final carrier conveyor (3). With the shroud positioned via the roller fabric reducer (11 ) on the moving last transport conveyor (3), by positioning the shroud fabric on the corpse, both washing and shrouding the corpse is carried out without the risk of contamination. Thus, the risk of contamination of the corpse and washer operator and the people around them is eliminated and the burial becomes ready in a disinfected state. Likewise, corpse washing operations before cremation or medical application can be performed with the automatic corpse washing system subject to the invention.
All elements that require control are controlled by the operator via the control panel (7) such as the control of all moving conveyors, liquid pumps and sprayers, fans that allow the drying air and the air inside the cabinet to be discharged, and all operating equipment in the developed automatic corpse washing system, Movement speeds of the moving parts and the position information of the parts, pressure and temperature values in the cabinet, thus, any contact with the corpse is avoided and the risk of contamination is eliminated.

While the corpse is transferred to the conveyor belt (3.1) on the last moving conveyor (3), at the same time, the fabric coming out of the lower roll by means of the roll fabric reducer (11) from the fabric rolls positioned at the bottom and top at the exit of the cabinet (1) opens on the conveyor belt (3.1) so as to be placed on the lower part of the corpse, the fabric from the upper roll on the upper part of the corpse. In this way, the shrouding of the corpse is completed. Later, the dead corpse can be transferred to the coffin thanks to the hydraulic cylinders (3.2) that allow the height of the moving last conveyor (3) to be adjusted by changing its location by means of the castering wheel (3.3). Parameters such as transport movements, fluid temperature and pressure values, fan suction and blowing pressures during the whole process are controlled and monitored by the operator via the control panel (7). Thus, in a way that eliminates the risk of contamination, the corpse is both disinfected, washed and shrouded without any contact with it.
