The invention significantly delays or prevents the moment of potential drifting or skidding of a vehicle and can be used both for situations of emergency lane changes and for more stable passage through gentle, high-speed turns. In the event of detecting both the stable movement of a vehicle along a given trajectory by comparing the speed of the vehicle with the speed of rotation of each wheel or with the aid of axial rotation and lateral acceleration sensors (before the beginning of possible drifting or skidding), and the exceedance of a set value for the speed or angle of rotation of the steering wheel, a control unit sends a signal to a brake system mechanism, reducing the speed of rotation of an inner wheel with respect to the given turn, and stops the signal the moment the steering wheel begins to return to its original position.
