技术领域
本发明实施例涉及通信技术领域,具体涉及一种模式切换的方法及设备。
背景技术
不同于针对固定接收机的广播方式,多媒体广播多播业务(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service,MBMS)的用户是可移动的。用户的移动性可能会造成用户从当前MBMS覆盖小区有移动到另外一个MBMS不覆盖的小区,则需要进行小区间的切换。若用户对当前的MBMS感兴趣或正在接收当前的MBMS,则用户进行小区间的切换时还需要考虑到MBMS业务在多播小区和单播小区之间的多播承载和单播承载的切换问题。
目前,如何在第五代移动通信技术(5th generation,5G)网络中进行多播承载和单播承载的切换是亟待解决的问题。
发明内容
本发明实施例的一个目的在于提供一种模式切换的方法及设备,解决多播和单播模式切换的问题。
第一方面,本发明实施例提供一种模式切换的方法,应用于第一网络功能,包括:
调用第二网络功能的模式切换操作,所述模式切换操作的参数包含第一信息,所述第一信息包括模式切换命令;
其中,所述模式切换命令用于通知目标方执行模式切换操作。
第二方面,本发明实施例提供一种模式切换的方法,应用于第二网络功能,包括:
模式切换操作被第一网络功能调用,所述模式切换操作的参数包含第一信息,所述第一信息包括:模式切换命令;
调用第五网络功能的业务操作,所述业务操作的参数包含所述模式切换命令的内容,或者,向用户终端发送所述模式切换命令,或者,向无线接入网节点发送所述模式切换命令。
第三方面,本发明实施例提供一种模式切换的方法,应用于用户终端,包括:
接收来自网络侧的模式切换命令;
向网络侧发送第一消息,所述第一消息用于所述用户终端与所述网络侧建立业务数据传输单播通道或多播通道,或者,用于所述用户终端向应用服务器发送第二消息,所述第二消息用于通知所述应用服务器向所述用户终端发送业务数据。

在本发明实施例中,核心网中的网络功能可以发起多播业务或单播业务的模式切换操作,使得用户可以在5G网络中进行多播承载和单播承载的切换,提高通信系统的可靠性。

参见图1,本发明实施例提供一种模式切换的方法,该方法的执行主体可以为第一网络功能,该第一网络功能为核心网中的网络功能,例如多播广播业务功能(Multicast Broadcast Service Function,MBSF),包括:步骤101。
步骤101:调用第二网络功能的模式切换操作,所述模式切换操作的参数包含第一信息,所述第一信息包括模式切换命令;
其中,所述模式切换命令用于通知目标方执行模式切换操作,其中模式切换操作包括:单播模式切换到多播模式,多播模式切换到单播模式。
在一些实施方式中,所述目标方可以为用户终端或无线接入网节点(例如基站)。也就是,用户终端可以基于核心网网元的触发执行单播模式切换到多播模式,或者多播模式切换到单播模式,或者基站基于核心网网元的触发执行单播模式切换到多播模式,或者多播模式切换到单播模式。
在一些实施方式中,第二网络功能可以为多播广播会话管理功能(Multicast Broadcast Session Management Function,MB-SMF)或接入和移动性管理功能(Access and Mobility Management Function,AMF),当然并不限于此。
在一些实施方式中,在步骤101之前,所述方法还包括:
基于多播业务的用户数(例如多播业务的总的用户数),或多播业务区域中的用户数,或业务操作被调用,执行所述调用第二网络功能的模式切换操作,例如从单播模式转换为多播模式的模式切换操作,或者从多播模式转换为单播模式的模式切换操作。
上述多播业务的用户数可以是多播业务的总的用户数。
上述多播业务区域的用户数可以是多播业务跟踪区的用户数。
上述业务操作被调用包括:多播业务操作被调用(比如应用服务器调用了MBSF的业务操作,或MB-SMF调用了MBSF的业务操作)或者应用服务器调用单播业务操作。
例如,如果多播业务的总的用户数,或多播业务区域中的用户数大于预设数值,或多播业务操作被调用,执行调用第二网络功能的模式切换操作,从单播模式转换为多播模式。

在一些实施方式中,所述第一信息还包括以下一项或多项:
(1)用户信息(User Information),例如用户标识(User ID),比如用户永久标识符(Subscription Permanent Identifier,SUPI)或国际移动用户识别码(International Mobile Subscriber Identity,IMSI);
(2)服务于用户终端的AMF的信息,比如,AMF标识(例如,全球唯一AMF标识(Globally Unique AMF ID,GUAMI))。
在一些实施方式中,在步骤101之前,所述方法还包括:向统一数据管理功能(Unified Data Manager,UDM)查询AMF的信息。
在一些实施方式中,所述模式切换命令包括:业务信息(或者称为多播 业务信息),或者会话信息;
其中,所述业务信息用于以下任意一项:
(1)所述用户终端向网络侧发送第一消息,所述第一消息用于用户终端与所述网络侧建立业务数据传输单播通道或多播通道;
(2)所述用户终端向应用服务器发送第二消息,所述第二消息用于通知所述应用服务器向所述用户终端发送业务数据;
其中,所述会话信息用于以下任意一项:
(1)所述无线接入网节点(例如基站)向核心网发送第三消息,所述第三消息无线接入网节点用于与第三网络功能(例如,多播广播用户面功能(MB-UPF))建立或保持业务数据传输多播通道;或者,所述第三消息用于无线接入网节点与第四网络功能(例如,用户面功能(User Plane Function,UPF))建立业务数据传输单播通道;
(2)所述无线接入网节点不发送消息以与第三网络功能(例如,MB-UPF)保持业务数据传输多播通道。
上述单播通道为核心网用户面功能(比如UPF)与每个用户终端建立业务数据传输通道以分别向各用户终端发送业务数据,包括:核心网用户面功能与无线接入网节点间通道以及无线接入网节点与用户终端间通道。
上述多播通道包含核心网用户面功能(比如MB-UPF)与无线接入网节点间业务数据传输通道,该通道使得核心网用户面功能分别向各无线接入网节点发送业务数据就可以让无线接入网节点向该无线接入网节点覆盖的所有用户终端发送业务数据,该通道为该无线接入节点下所有该业务的用户终端所共享。
在一些实施方式中,所述模式切换命令包括以下一项或多项:
(1)所述第三网络功能的信息,例如MB-UPF的地址信息;
(2)临时移动组标识(Temporary Mobile Group Identity,TMGI);
(3)多播地址(multicast address),例如IP multicast address;
(4)协议数据单元会话标识(PDU session ID)。

下面结合实施例一至实施例七介绍本发明的实施方式,其中第一网元为MBSF,第二网元为无线接入网节点,第三网元为MB-UPF,所述第四网元为UPF,第五网元为MB-SMF。
当MBSF决定切换模式时,需要通知MB-SMF建立MB-UPF和RAN节点间的共享通道(单播转多播)或通知用户终端(User Equipment,UE)建立协议数据单元会话(PDU session)(多播转单播),使得MB-UPF可以通过共享通道转发多播数据,或通过UPF与UE间的PDU session进行每个用户终端(per UE)的数据转发(单播)。
实施例一
参见图4,图中示意核心网执行多播模式切换的流程,包括步骤:401-409。
步骤401:MBSF基于多播业务的用户数,或同一区域的多播业务用户数决定触发模式切换,或业务操作被调用,比如内容提供方(Content Provider)调用了MBSF的业务操作,或MB-SMF调用了MBSF的业务操作;
例如,MB-UPF接收到多播数据报文后,将数据报文的目标地址(多播 地址)逐个替换为多播业务中各用户终端的地址再转发(即使用单播模式),转发的数据报文会被路由到与对应用户终端建立了会话连接的UPF,UPF再将数据报文转发给用户终端。MBSF基于多播业务的用户数,或一个或多个区域(比如跟踪区,或基站节点等)的多播业务的用户数决定要转换单播模式为多播模式。
可以理解的是,以下步骤为针对每个用户终端逐个执行。
步骤402:MBSF从UDM获取服务于用户的AMF的信息。
例如,MBSF向UDM请求服务于某个用户终端的AMF的信息,比如,AMF标识(例如,全球唯一AMF标识(Globally Unique AMF ID,GUAMI))。
步骤403:MBSF调用MB-SMF的模式切换操作;
比如,调用Nmbsmf_ModeSwitch操作,携带发送给基站的模式切换命令,该模式切换命令携带会话信息,比如TMGI或IP multicast address,用于通知基站建立与MB-UPF间的共享数据通道;
其中,还可以携带以下一项或多项:
(1)MB-UPF的地址信息;
(2)用户标识,比如,用户永久标识符(Subscription Permanent Identifier,SUPI)或国际移动用户识别码(International Mobile Subscriber Identity,IMSI);
(3)AMF的信息,比如GUAMI。
步骤404:MB-SMF调用AMF的多播会话操作;
MB-SMF向统一数据管理(Unified Data Manager,UDM)请求服务于某个用户终端的AMF的信息,比如:GUAMI,MB-SMF调用AMF的Namf_MBSession操作,携带用户标识和/或模式切换命令。
步骤405:AMF向服务用户终端的基站(gNB)转发模式切换命令。
步骤406:基站预留多播资源,向AMF发送模式切换响应;
其中,模式切换响应可以携带以下一项或多项:(1)基站的信息;(2)通道标识信息。
如果基站已经与MB-UPF建立了共享数据通道,则直接向AMF发送已经存在的共享通道的信息,或发送无需建立通道的指示,或不发送消息。
步骤407:在接收基站发送的模式切换响应之后,AMF向MB-SMF返回 多播会话操作结果。
其中,多播会话操作结果可以携带接收到的模式切换响应。
步骤408:MB-SMF和MB-UPF之间进行连接更新;
例如,MB-SMF通过模式切换响应判断需要更新MB-UPF(即建立MB-UPF与对应基站的共享通道),命令MB-UPF更新多播会话,包括告知MB-UPF对应的基站的地址信息和通道标识。
步骤409:MB-SMF可以向MBSF返回模式切换操作结果。
至此,MB-UPF可以将接收到的多播数据报文向各个与基站间的共享通道转发。

步骤701:MBSF基于多播业务的用户数,或同一区域的多播业务用户数决定触发模式切换,或业务操作被调用,比如Content Provider调用了MBSF的业务操作,或MB-SMF调用了MBSF的业务操作;
例如,MB-UPF接收到多播数据报文后,将数据报文逐个通过与各个基站间的共享通道转发给基站(多播模式),再由基站转发给各个用户终端。MBSF基于多播业务的用户数,或一个或多个区域(比如一个或多个跟踪区,或一个或多个基站节点等)的多播业务的用户数决定要转换多播模式为单播模式。
可以理解的是,以下步骤为针对每个用户终端逐个执行。
步骤702:MBSF从UDM获取服务于用户的AMF的信息;

  2. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,在所述调用第二网络功能的模式切换操作之前,所述方法还包括:
    基于多播业务的用户数,或多播业务区域中的用户数,或业务操作被调用,决定执行所述调用第二网络功能的模式切换操作。
  3. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,所述第一信息还包括以下一项或多项:用户信息,服务于用户终端的接入和移动性管理功能的信息。
  4. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:
    向统一数据管理功能查询接入和移动性管理功能的信息。

    TMGI;
    多播地址。
  14. 一种网络功能,所述网络功能为第一网络功能,包括:
    第一调用模块,用于调用第二网络功能的模式切换操作,所述模式切换操作的参数包括第一信息,所述第一信息包括模式切换命令,所述模式切换命令用于通知目标方执行模式切换操作。
  15. 一种网络功能,所述网络功能为第二网络功能,包括:
    第二调用模块,用于模式切换操作被第一网络功能调用,所述模式切换操作的参数包括第一信息,所述第一信息包括:模式切换命令;
    第一发送模块,用于调用第五网络功能的业务操作,所述业务操作的参数包含所述模式切换命令的内容,或者,向用户终端发送所述模式切换命令,或者,向无线接入网节点发送所述模式切换命令。
  16. 一种用户终端,包括:
    接收模块,用于从网络侧接收模式切换命令;
    第二发送模块,用于向所述网络侧发送第一消息,所述第一消息用于与所述网络侧建立业务数据传输单播通道或多播通道,或者,向应用服务器发送第二消息,所述第二消息用于通知所述应用服务器向所述用户终端发送业务数据。
  17. 一种通信设备,包括:处理器、存储器及存储在所述存储器上并可在所述处理器上运行的程序,所述程序被所述处理器执行时实现包括如权利要求1至13中任一项所述的模式切换的方法的步骤。
  18. 一种计算机可读存储介质,所述计算机可读存储介质上存储有计算机程序,所述计算机程序被处理器执行时实现包括如权利要求1至13中任一项所述的模式切换的方法的步骤。
  19. 一种计算机程序产品,所述程序产品被至少一个处理器执行以实现如权利要求1-13任一项所述的模式切换的方法。
  20. 一种网络功能,用于执行如权利要求1-7任一项所述的模式切换的方法。
  21. 一种网络功能,用于执行如权利要求8-10任一项所述的模式切换的方法。
  22. 一种用户终端,用于执行如权利要求11-13任一项所述的模式切换的方法。
