Description

MANUAL SELF-CLEANING FORK
FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to hand tools with teeth, and can be used for a wide range of agricultural work.
PRIOR ART
Known self-cleaning rake [Patent US5713193 from 22.08.1996 "Self-cleaning rake"], consisting of a handle, a handle, a spring button and two sets of teeth. The handle is made of fiberglass and consists of two telescopic parts. One of the parts is larger in diameter and the other part is slidingly held within it. The smaller part of the handle is provided with a cleaning rod to which one set of teeth is attached, and the cleaning rod has a plurality of aligned holes through which the second set of teeth extends. The second set of teeth is attached to the first portion of the handle, and the reciprocating movement of the portions of the handle relative to each other causes the cleaning rod and its attached teeth to move, removing debris from both sets of teeth.
The disadvantage of the device is that the presence of two sets of teeth leads to the removal of only large debris, the possibility of complete self-cleaning is not ensured. In addition, the presence of the second set of teeth significantly makes the device heavier and reduces the useful area of the teeth.
Known device [Patent ETS3884023 from 20.05.1975 "Self-cleaning rake"], having teeth with downward or dependent front ends, equipped with a cleaning element, sliding on the teeth. The cleaning element surrounds the teeth and is pivotally connected to a bracket, which in turn is attached to a rod that is moved along the broom handle by a hand actuator. The cleaning element is made with the possibility of moving along the pointed downwards or depending on the front ends of the teeth due to the articulated connection with the bracket. The wiper also compresses the teeth as it travels down the teeth.
The disadvantage of the device is the lack of a return mechanism. In addition, cleaning the teeth involves squeezing them, which, if heavily soiled, can lead to deformation of the teeth. A bracket over the teeth reduces the ability to use the device in confined spaces.
Known self-cleaning rake [Patent US4776158 from 11.10.1988 "Self-cleaning rake for leaves"], including an elongated handle and fixed at one end of the frame with spaced teeth. On the prongs of the device there is a plate, moved by a pusher, fixed on the handle, along the entire length of the teeth. The spring clip holds the plate in the raised position and can be released by means of a guide on the handle interacting with the pusher.
The disadvantage of the device is the presence of a protruding pusher on the handle, as well as the absence of a return mechanism. To return the plate to its original state, the user must pause the process of using the device, must change the posture and position of the hands. The cleaning plate is moved by a pusher attached to the handle. The length of the handle, the absence of additional fasteners and devices for stabilizing the position of the cleaning plate, if the teeth are heavily clogged, can lead to damage to the device.
The closest to the claimed device are self-cleaning rakes [Patent US2015257335 from 11/21/2014 "Self-cleaning rake"], including a hollow handle having at one end a frame with a plurality of elongated teeth located close to each other. A rod is located inside the handle, at one end of which a cleaning plate is fixed, which is slidingly mounted on the teeth. On the outside of the handle there is a handle, which is functionally connected to the shaft. The handle allows you to move the cleaning pad along the teeth. The rod is spring loaded to automatically return the cleaning pad to the frame.
The disadvantage of the device is its low maintainability due to the location of the spring inside the hollow handle. Also, the use of a hollow shank complicates the design and limits the list of materials for its manufacture. In addition, the location of the spring in the upper part of the handle increases material costs and reduces ease of use due to the disturbance of the balance of the instrument, which is familiar to the user. In addition, a known device cannot be created by upgrading the user's existing inventory. In addition, to clean the teeth, the user must pause the process of using the device, change the posture and position of the hands.

CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
7. Basically, the design of manual self-cleaning forks consists of a handle 1 having at one end a frame 2 with a plurality of elongated spaced teeth 3, as well as a cleaning plate 4, which is fixed on a movable handle 5, and a spring 6 located above the handle 1 inside a movable handle 5. The movable handle 5 has lateral longitudinal grooves 7.
The movable handle 5 provides the movement of the cleaning plate 4 relative to the handle 1, and, consequently, the compression and expansion of the spring 6. The overall dimensions of the proposed device are taken in accordance with existing standards for such designs.
5. The principle of operation of the proposed device: during the operation of the forks, the cleaning plate 4 is pressed against the frame 2 under the action of the spring 6. The cleaning of the teeth 3 is carried out by the cleaning plate 4, which moves along the teeth 3. For this, the user removes the movable handle 4, overcoming the resistance of the spring 6. In this case, the frame 2 passes in the longitudinal grooves 7 and serves as one guide for the movable handle 5, and the handle 1 serves as the second guide. The forks return to their original state by unclamping the spring 6 after the user releases the movable handle 5.
The technical result of the claimed invention is to improve the performance of self-cleaning forks, reduce the time and effort required to clean the teeth.
