Abstract

본 개시는 LTE(Long Term Evolution)와 같은 4G(4th generation) 통신 시스템 이후 보다 높은 데이터 전송률을 지원하기 위한 5G(5th generation) 또는 pre-5G 통신 시스템에 관련된 것이다. 본 개시는 무선 또는 통신 시스템에서 데이터 및 제어 정보를 송수신하기 위한 것으로, 단말의 동작 방법은, 상기 단말에 할당된 리소스 엘리먼트(resource element: RE)의 개수(N RE)를 결정하는 단계, 상기 RE의 개수에 기반하여 중간 값을 결정하는 단계, 상기 중간 값이 제1 기준 값보다 작은 경우, 미리 정해진 제1 방법 및 상기 중간 값에 기반하여 트랜스포트 블록의 크기를 결정하거나 상기 중간 값과 미리 정해진 복수 개의 값에 기반하여 상기 트랜스포트 블록의 크기를 결정하는 단계, 및 상기 중간 값이 상기 제1 기준 값보다 큰 경우, 상기 중간 값에 기반하여 트랜스포트 블록의 크기를 결정하는 단계를 포함한다.
