Abstract

The present invention patent application proposes a stimulating beverage formulation including nicotine as an active substance, that is intended for general consumption, and more specifically aimed at consumers wishing to stay awake to study or work. The social function of the innovation comprises providing a healthy alternative that enables people to stay awake productively. The main formulation of the stimulating beverage proposed herein is as follows: taurine (10 mg to 400 mg/100 ml), nicotine (0.1 mg to 40 mg/100 ml), glucuronolactone (10 mg to 300 mg/100 ml), caffeine (3 mg to 40 mg/100 ml), inositol (from 1 mg to 20 mg/100 ml), sugars (7 g to 33 g/100 ml), water (269 ml or according to product configuration), and carbon dioxide.

Restrições de comunicação communication restrictions
A Legislação em vigor: Lei n° 12.546, de 14 de dezembro de 2011 , que alterou o art. 3o da Lei n° 9.294/1996, proibiu a propaganda de produtos derivados do tabaco, exceto a exposição destes à venda nos estabelecimentos comerciais. Pesquisa da Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) mostra um aumento de quase 800% no consumo de metilfenidato de 2003 a 2012. O levantamento foi feito pela psicóloga Denise Barros, que estudou o consumo do remédio no país em sua tese de doutorado. Dados expostos na recomendação do Ministério da Saúde indicam que o Brasil se tornou o segundo mercado mundial no consumo do metilfenidato, com cerca de 2.000.000 de caixas vendidas no ano de 2010.
