Description

A HEATER FOR USE IN A WASHING UNIT
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to at least one washing unit having at least one washing chamber wherein the item desired to be washed is placed, particularly for use in washing processes.
PRIOR ART
The highest sound frequency which can be heard by human ear is approximately nearly 20 kHz (20000 vibrations per second). The sounds over this frequency are named as ultrasound, ultrasonic. In ultrasonic cleaning processes, the frequency range between 20 kHz and 200 kHz is used. The usage area of the ultrasonic cleaning technology is substantially wide. Some of these can be machining, jewelry products, medical products, metal pieces coated with oil and dirt, and metal equipment, armature, reflector, various devices, apparatus, machine parts, etc.
Ultrasonic cleaning is the process of purification of the material, which exists in the tank, from the dirt thereof by means of application of high frequency sound waves into a tank which is full of liquid. By means of transducers placed under or to the side surfaces of the cleaning chamber, electrical energy is transformed into mechanical energy and is transmitted to the liquid provided in the tank. Energy provides the effect called “cavitation” and provides realization of cleaning. Cleaning is realized by means of this cavitation phenomenon. Cavitation is the name given to bubbles with micro-scale formed by liquid molecules which are input to the pressure-expansion cycle continuously. These bubbles collapse into themselves in case of expansion where the pressure is eliminated, and liquid moves at very high speed into the bubble. When this event takes place on the surface of the material put into the tank, very precise and dense cleaning is realized at micro-level. Foreign substances which exist on the material surface are removed from the surface by means of an effect which is similar to brushing or rubbing. The efficiency of cleaning is increased by adding various chemical substances into water depending on the characteristic of the material to be cleaned and the dirtiness degree. Various types of devices with various dimensions are produced for realizing this cleaning method which has pluralities of usage areas. The basic factors for preferring ultrasonic cleaning are as follows:
- Parts which have details like hole, recess, which are hard to access, and which are very difficult to be cleaned, can be cleaned in an efficient and rapid manner,
- Ultrasonic cleaning provides cleaning on the part with a degree of cleaning which cannot be reached by means of any other cleaning method,
- Sources like water, chemical substances and electricity are used economically,
- Cleaning is provided in very short durations and efficiency is increased.
However, some disadvantages occur in the ultrasonic cleaning devices used in the present art. Some of these disadvantages are as follows:
- The dirt, which is accumulated in the chamber after cleaning, cannot be separated from water, and depending on this, water becomes dirty in short time in repetitive washing processes,
- The chemicals, used together with water, become dirty and consumed in short time in repetitive washing.
- In case the resistances, used for heating water during washing, break down, the cleaning water is discharged and long time is consumed for elimination of the failure. After elimination of the failure, time is consumed for re-heating the renewed water and thermal loss occurs.
- In case the washed product falls to an undesired location in the chamber depending on user faults and movement of the water during washing, the fallen product cannot be taken from the bottom of the chamber and depending on this, the product is damaged. Energy and time losses occur during discharging the washing water in the chamber and re-filling the chamber with water in order for the product not to be damaged.
As a result, because of the abovementioned problems, an improvement is required in the related technical field.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a washing unit, for eliminating the abovementioned disadvantages and for bringing new advantages to the related technical field.
An object of the present invention is to provide a washing unit with facilitated usage and with improved efficiency.
In order to realize the abovementioned objects and the objects which are to be deducted from the detailed description below, the present invention is at least one washing unit particularly for use in washing processes and having at least one washing chamber wherein the item desired to be washed is placed, and at least one heater for providing heating of said washing chamber. Accordingly, the improvement is that said heater is positioned in at least one heater connection part provided at a location where the washing liquid does not contact, in order to essentially provide applying process without needing discharge of the washing liquid from the washing chamber. Thus, in cases where intervention to the heater must be realized during washing, intervention can be realized through the heater connection part without contacting the washing liquid.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, said heater connection part is connected to at least one heater chamber. Thus, the heater can heat the washing liquid which exists in the washing chamber.
In another possible embodiment of the present invention, said heater chamber is provided in the vicinity of the washing chamber in a manner giving heat to the washing chamber. Thus, the washing liquid is heated by means of the passage of the heat, emitted by the heater, to the washing chamber.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, the subject matter is explained with references to examples without forming any restrictive effect only in order to make the subject more understandable. In Figure 1 and 2, a representative perspective view of the subject matter washing unit (10) is given. Accordingly, the present invention relates to a washing unit (10). The subject matter washing unit (10) provides cleaning of products used in various sectors primarily like jewelry and medical products. In order to realize this, the washing unit (10) comprises at least one washing chamber (20), at least one carrier element (40) wherein the items desired to be washed are placed in said washing chamber (20), and at least one control unit (60) for providing management of the washing process.
The washing chamber (20) has at least one base (21) and side walls (23) around said base (21). In a possible embodiment of the present invention, the washing chamber (20) can have four side walls (23) and a base (21) and can also be produced in cylindrical or different shapes. The washing chamber (20) essentially has at least one inlet opening (24) at the opposite side of the base (21). Said inlet opening (24) is essentially an opening which allows placement and removal of the products to be washed and the carrier elements (40) to and from the washing chamber (20).
In Figure 3, a representative top view of the subject matter washing unit (10) is given. Accordingly, the washing chamber (20) has at least one discharge opening (25) and at least one inclined surface (22) on the base (21) thereof (20). Said discharge opening (25) is essentially configured to provide removal of the washing liquid from the washing chamber (20). Said inclined surface (22) can have a bulged, angled or flat shape with respect to the ground for providing guidance of water or the item, which has fallen from the carrier element (40), towards the discharge opening (25) during discharge of the washing liquid. At least one valve (26) is positioned on the discharge opening (25). Said valve (26) is essentially configured to allow discharge of the washing water from the washing chamber (20).
In the subject matter washing unit (10), moreover, at least one filling mechanism (not illustrated in the figures) is positioned. In a possible embodiment of the present invention, said filling mechanism is connected to said control unit (50) and provides the water which is needed for washing. The filling mechanism can be automatically as well as manually controlled.
Chemical substances can be used for providing cleaning by the washing liquid in an efficient manner in the washing unit (10). The washing liquid is desired to be heated for providing dissolving of chemical substances in water in an efficient manner and for increasing cleaning efficiency. In order to realize this, the washing chamber (20) is connected to at least one heater (30). Said heater (30) can be essentially at least one resistance which is energized by electricity. The heater (30) is essentially positioned at a location where the user can intervene without needing interrupting washing and without needing discharging of the washing liquid and where the user can examine the failure or can realize change.
In Figure 4 and 5, one each representative views where the heater (30) is positioned in the subject matter washing unit (10) is given. Accordingly, in a possible embodiment of the present invention, the heater (30) is positioned in at least one heater connection part (32) essentially in the upper vicinity of at least one heater chamber (31) at the intersection positions of the side walls (23) of the washing chamber (20). Said heater connection part (32) is essentially positioned at a location where the washing liquid does not contact, and in a possible embodiment of the present invention, said heater connection part (32) is essentially positioned at a location of the washing chamber (20) which is close to the inlet opening (24). As the heater (30) is positioned at the heater connection part (32), intervention possibility without contacting the washing liquid is provided. Since the number of heaters (30) is big, the washing water is rapidly heated and time saving is provided. Besides, since there are pluralities of heaters (30), in case there is failure in any of the heaters (30), the washing process may be stopped and/or not stopped, and while a heater (30) is being repaired, the other heater (30) continues heating the washing liquid.
The heater (30) is essentially associated with the control unit (50). The control unit (50) controls operation of the heater (30).
