Description

DYESTUFF MIXTURES INCLUDING CLAY
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to natural or artificial dyestuff mixtures and clays having pluralities of minerals therein and which are a soil type.
PRIOR ART
Clay is a soft material having very tiny particles. The atoms, which exist in clay material, are in the form of a cage or a chain array. The basic substance of clay is aluminum silicate hydrate and there may be the compounds of other elements like sodium (it will be hereafter described as Na), potassium (it will be hereafter described as K), calcium (it will be hereafter described as Ca), magnesium (it will be hereafter described as Mg) and iron (it will be hereafter described as Fe).
Clays are formed by two different structure stones with X-rays diffraction studies. The first structure, having silicium ion at the center thereof and having oxygen ions at the corners thereof, is in the form of a regular tetrahedron as seen. Tetrahedron structure is formed, in other words, silica layer is formed by means of joining by giving sextet rings with oxygen bridges through the corners thereof such that the bases of these regular tetrahedrons, which have chemical formula that can be written as SiO 4 4, are in the same plane.
Dyestuff used in textile is chemicals obtained in a natural or artificial manner. Natural dyestuff can be herbal and animal sourced. Natural dyestuff has low color fastness and the cost thereof is high.
Synthetic dyestuffs (from ready petro-chemical raw materials) have high color fastness. They have a lower cost and they do not necessitate detailed dyeing processes.
Textile products are product groups which are in the densest relation with human body after food substances. The dye wastes and the chemicals, which exist on the clothes worn by humans, penetrate into the human body by means of sweating and breathing and affect the human health in an unfavorable manner. As also known in the literature, said chemical and dye wastes have allergy and cancer threaten against human health. As a result, as described above, it is seen that the dyestuff which shows carcinogenic effect for the human body or the chemicals and the dye wastes which remain during production of the dyestuff must be prevented from contacting the body. In the related technical field, novelty requirement occurs in this direction.

In a possible embodiment of the present invention, the clay including substance is one of kaolin, montmorillonite, zeolite or the mixture thereof with specific weight proportions.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, the subject matter relates to natural or artificial dyestuff mixtures comprising clays having pluralities of minerals therein and which are a soil type and are explained with references to examples without forming any restrictive effect only in order to make the subject more understandable.
In the invention, the clay including substance is one of kaolin, montmorillonite, zeolite or the mixture thereof with specific weight proportions.
As also known from the literature, thanks to the adsorption and absorption characteristics of the clays, the clays can purify the body from toxic substances. Since the clay is subjected to hot water pressure for long time underground, the clay is crystallized and charged with negative electricity. Thanks to the negative charges of the clay, the clay attracts the positive charged toxic substances onto the skin surface, and afterwards, the clay absorbs these and realizes the function of removing these from the body. As mentioned in our invention, as clay is used as a component in the dyestuff mixture, the chemical wastes, which exist in the body of the fabrics which are in contact with the human body, are prevented from contacting with the skin.
In the invention, thanks to the usage of clay in the dyestuff as component, a dyestuff mixture is obtained where the toxic effect is substantially reduced.
Natural or artificial dyestuffs can be used according to the fabric color desired to be obtained as dyestuff. As also known in the literature, the dyestuff used in the art has carcinogenic effect for the human body both because of their chemical structures and because of their wastes coming from their production steps. In this form, the contact of the dyestuff to the human body must be reduced.
The improvement, considered to be provided by the present invention, is the production of dyestuff comprising clay component which will function as a coating against the carcinogenic effects, which exist in the fabric, by means of application of the obtained dyestuff mixture to the fabric.
The dyestuff statement can be described as substances applied in making the fabric colored. Said dyestuff is natural or artificial chemical substance according to the color and characteristics desired from the fabric. The dyestuffs to be used in the present invention can be indigo dyestuffs or derivatives.
The dyestuff mixture to be obtained by the present invention comprises at least one clay and at least one dyestuff. Accordingly, the dyestuff mixture can also comprise the mixtures of more than one clay group with specific weight proportions.
The clay, provided in the dyestuff mixture, is provided at a proportion between 1% and 15% by weight.
The dyestuff raw substance provided in the dyestuff mixture is provided at a proportion between 1% and 15% by weight.

• Clay substance with proportion between 1 % and 15%,
• At least one natural or artificial dyestuff with proportion between 1% and 15%, • Cross-binding substance which does not include formaldehyde and which functions as binder with proportion between 5% and 12%,
• Acrylic polymer which functions as binder with proportion between 5% and 12%,
• Dispersing agent which provides homogenous mixture with proportion between 2% and 5%,
• Thickener with proportion between 5% and 12%.
The dyestuff mixture comprises at least one solvent which completes to 100% by weight.
The production of dyestuff mixture obtained by means of the present invention is provided by means of forming a homogenous mixture in a solvent by clay and dyestuff. Binders, where cross-bonds are adhered, are added to the formed homogenous mixture. Dispersing agent substance is added for providing increase of homogeneity and for preventing precipitation of the components of the mixture where binder is added.
The dyestuff mixtures obtained by means of the present invention can be used as dyeing product in yarns, semi-produced products, woven fabrics, woven fabrics or non-woven fabrics.
