Closed System Formula Baby Food Preparation Machine
Technical Field
Our invention: it is related to the closed system formula baby food preparation machine developed for the purpose of meeting the special nutrition needs of the baby in hospitals, basic institutions of the health sector in the case that breast milk is never given or is insufficient, particularly for nutrition of the babies who are monitored in newborn intensive care units and services as hospitalized.
Previous Technique
Today preparation of the formula baby food is performed in clinics in an outdoor environment. Convenient conditions should be created beforehand in each preparation phase of the baby food.
The newborn nurses should wash their hands carefully, have short nails, wear mask and bonnet, the benchmark used for baby food preparation should be cleaned beforehand, the water to be used for the baby food should be boiled for minimum 10 minutes and warmed at the temperature range that the baby could take (down to 40 degrees level), the baby bottle to be used should be cleaned beforehand and boiled for 10 minutes in a water container, the formula baby food should be consumed within the determined period after its package is opened (within 4 weeks), the baby food should be stored in a cool and dry environment, the formula baby food should be put into the baby bottle as suggested in the nutrition table of the baby following the boiled and warmed water before preparation of the baby food, 1 scale (30 ml+1 scale (4,6 gr)) the tubulure of the baby bottle should be closed and the baby bottle should be shaken using circular movements, for the purpose of providing aseptic conditions before preparing the baby food.
The newborn nurses who provide care undertake the most important responsibility in this regard in the phases of preparation, storage, heating of the formula baby food and giving the same to the baby. The most significant restrictions and disadvantages of this process is that at the same time the transaction of formula baby food preparation is repeated several times within the day, many workloads are allocated for the same transaction each time and
that performance of the transaction in an outdoor environment leads to potential health risks.
Purpose of the Invention
All of those undesired risks that could arise in nutrition of the babies have been decreased using the formula baby food preparation machine within closed system. This product allows preparation of formula baby food in clinics as well. The aseptic conditions during preparation, storage and heating are preserved. The period of baby food preparation by the care nurse, his/her steps, environment arrangements and aseptic practices have been standardized within this machine.

Explanation of the Invention
There are special touch areas on the top front face of the closed system formula baby food preparation machine where baby food names, the amount of water and baby food to be given shall be written and where water boiling button shall be available. (Figure-5)
There are storage sections designed for putting baby food with different content and water reservoirs where boiled and warmed water is put, at the top. (Figure- 1)
There is a reservoir section on the top front section of the closed system formula baby food preparation machine (Figure-3) where 8 baby bottles in which water and then the baby food could be added after all data are entered are placed (4 at the front + 4 at the back).
And at the bottom there is the gallon cupboard from which water used for baby food preparation is taken (Figure-5). The gallon (7) and waste water tank (17) (Figure-4) shall be put in the cupboard under the machine.
The baby food shall be extracted from its package and filled in the baby food silos (1). The baby food silos shall be closed with impermeable cover (2). The prescription of the baby food to be prepared shall be determined from the menu in the LCD screen (Figure-5).
The water coming from the gallon (7) shall be drawn to the water tank numbered 1 (4) using the water pump (16). The water shall be sterilized by
being heated up to 95 degrees using the heater resistance (14). The water shall be taken from there to the 2nd water tank (5) and the temperature shall be decreased down to 40 degrees. From there, the water shall be sent to the 3rd water tank (6) as 40 degrees water. The water in the 3rd tank (6) shall be used for baby food preparation. Baby food blending container (3) water of the amount stipulated in the prescription shall be taken from the 3rd tank (6) using the water valves (13). The baby food dosed with dosing valve (12) shall be transferred to the same baby food blending container (3).
The blending process shall be performed using the magnetic blender. The baby food prepared shall be transferred to the baby bottles (11) using the baby food blending water tank pump (15).
Baby bottles (11) shall be placed on the drainage grill (8) in order. It shall descend from the baby food blending container (3) to the tubulure of the baby bottle (11) by means of the filling piston (10) depending on the baby bottle (11) size and the baby bottle (11) shall be filled.
After the process of baby bottle (11) filling is completed, the baby food blending container (3) shall perform transaction of washing at the same time using the 95-degree water from the 1st water tank (4) and sent to the waste water drainage pan (9). This work flow ranking shall be performed in the same manner in 8 baby food blending containers. The waste which is the mixture of waste water and baby food accumulated in the drainage pan (9) shall be accumulated in the waste water tank (17) and destroyed.
Mode of application of the invention to the industry
The closed system formula baby food preparation machine serving for the abovementioned purposes could be produced and used in any branch of industry and it could be applied to the industry.
Claims
1- The invention is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it is composed of the upper reservoir section where baby food silos (1) with impermeable cover (2) where 8 baby bottles (11) in which baby food could be added (4 at the front + 4 at the back) could be placed and the baby food blending container (3) and water tanks (4-5-6) are located as well as a gallon (7) at the bottom and a baby food mixture waste water tank (17).
2- What is mentioned in Claim 1 is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it has a baby food blending container (3) to which the baby food dosed in baby food silos (1) with impermeable cover (2) is transferred using drainage valve (12) and water valves (13).
3- What is mentioned in Claim 1 is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it has a baby bottle (11) to which the baby food is transferred from the baby food blending container (3) using the baby bottle filling piston (10).
4- What is mentioned in Claim 1 is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it has a drainage grill (8) where baby bottles (11) are arranged in order.
5- What is mentioned in Claim 1 is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it has a drainage pan (9) which performs transaction of washing at the same time using the 95-degree water from the 1st water tank (4) after completion of the baby bottle (11) filling process and where the waste water is accumulated.
6- What is mentioned in Claim 1 is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it has water tanks (4-5-6) to which the water from the gallon (7) is drawn to the water tank numbered 1 (4) using the water pump (16) and the water is sterilized by being heated up to 95 degrees in this tank using the heater resistance (14) and from there the water is taken in the 2nd water tank (5) and the temperature is decreased down to 40 degrees and then the water is sent to the 3rd water tank (6) as 40-degree water.
7- What is mentioned in Claim 1 is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it has a water tank pump (15) which pumps water in the water tanks (4-5-6). 8- What is mentioned in Claim 1 is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it has a water pump (16) transferring the water from the gallon (7).
9- What is mentioned in Claim 1 is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it has a gallon (7) where there is water providing blending of the baby food.
10- What is mentioned in Claim 1 is a closed system formula baby food preparation machine and it has a waste water tank (17) where the mixture of waste water and baby food accumulated in the drainage pan (9) is transferred.
