  • the direction of extraction of the filters from the frame may be opposite to the direction of throughflow of the air in them, so that the air flow which usually crosses them tends to push them inside the frame.
  • the rotation of the filtering unit about the vertical axis allows the rear face of the filtering unit to be made visible for extraction and replacement of the filters.
  • the rotation may also be through 180° so as to bring the rear face of filter unit completely opposite the housing 18.
  • the free space in front of the front openings 19 may be kept limited to that strictly necessary for extraction of the filtering unit and rotating it through at least 90°, such that the filters may be extracted in a direction substantially parallel to the extension of the front openings.

Since the air flow is divided up through the plurality of filter modules, closing of the circulating air inside a module for replacement of the filters which form it does not reduce excessively the air flow for the time period needed for the whole operation. Owing to the extraction and rotation system the operator is able to perform the changing operations more easily and with less effort. Moreover, the space around the booth may be keep small. An operator is able to gain access with clean filters to a front opening of a housing inside which it is required to change one or more filters, extract and rotate the filter module with little force, rapidly change the filters and reposition the module inside the housing.
  • the number of housings and/or the number of filters may vary from that shown depending on the specific requirements, such as the air throughflow to be purified.
  • the rotation about the vertical axis 31 may be angularly increased or reduced depending on the requirements and preferences.
  • the rotation may also be through 360° if desired, for example in order to extract the filters after a first rotation through 90°, perform a further rotation through 180° in order to then insert the new filters in an opposite direction and finally rotate the module through a further 90° in order to bring it back into the initial position and insert it again inside the housing.
  • a first operator may extract the modules from one side of the gangway and a second operator may insert the new filters from the other side of the gangway with respect to the front opening of the housing.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une cabine de peinture (10) comprenant une chambre de peinture (11) à l'intérieur de laquelle la peinture est pulvérisée et qui est pourvue d'un flux d'air destiné à évacuer l'excès de pulvérisation, qui est transporté vers au moins une unité de filtration (16) de la cabine, destinée à filtrer et à séparer l'excès de pulvérisation de peinture du flux d'air. L'unité de filtration (16) comprend une pluralité de modules de filtre (17), chaque module de filtre (17) étant contenu de manière amovible dans son propre boîtier (18) qui comprend une ouverture avant (19) qui peut être ouverte afin d'extraire le module de filtre du boîtier. Chaque module de filtre (17) est formé par un cadre de support (20) et par une pluralité de filtres (17a) disposés côte à côte à l'intérieur du cadre de support, le cadre de support (20) étant suspendu sous un chariot (22) qui coulisse sur une paire de rails parallèles supérieurs (23) qui sont disposés entre l'intérieur du boîtier (18) du module de filtre et une zone devant l'ouverture avant (19) du boîtier. Le cadre de support (20) est suspendu au chariot (22) au moyen d'une liaison rotative (30) de manière à pouvoir tourner autour d'un axe vertical (31) et permettre l'extraction du module de filtre (17) à partir du boîtier par coulissement du chariot (22) le long de la paire de rails et la rotation du module de filtre (17) autour dudit axe vertical (31) dans ladite zone devant l'ouverture avant (19) du boîtier et permettre ainsi l'extraction de filtres de la pluralité dans le cadre de support (20).
