Description

A pipe for ventilation channels
The subject of the utility model is a pipe for ventilation channels.
Ventilation systems using corrugated pipes as ventilation conduits are already known in the art.
Patent description PAT. 184078 discloses a ventilation device for simultaneous aeration and de-aeration of rooms.
The subject of the invention is a ventilation device for simultaneous aeration and de aeration of rooms, in particular including a device for heat recovery from the de aerating stream, with a housing installed on or in the wall of the building and connected to the ventilation channels venting the aerating and de-aerating stream of the medium into the atmosphere. Inside the casing two flow ducts are formed, separated from each other, with a separate mechanical ventilation device for both the aerating and de aerating stream of the medium and with filtering elements placed in both the aerating and de-aerating stream of the medium. The mechanical ventilation devices in both the aerating and de-aerating stream are placed in such a way that the suction distance of a given mechanical ventilation device inside the housing of the ventilation device is longer than the blow out distance.
Polish patent application 387210 discloses a system of elements of a ventilation channel.
The subject of the invention is a system of elements of a ventilation channel composed of connected individual prefabricated elements made of styrofoam in the form of profiled ceiling battens where there is a pass-through element connected in series with another pass-through element and a T -piece or a corner, or possibly a perforated pass through element and/or a perforated end element. Both the perforated pass-through element and the perforated end element may serve the function similar to that of the pass-through element. Their surface is tightly closed as there are only incisions made in it which may be turned into ventilation openings just before installing the ventilation system or, if need be, at any time during using the system. The incisions make it possible to remove e.g. by pushing out part of the surface of a given element thus obtaining any number of ventilation openings.
Patent description P320626 discloses a flexible ventilation conduit. The invention solves the question of constructing a flexible ventilation conduit, made of a flexible pipe covered with an insulating coating and wrapped in insulating lagging fixed with a sleeve made of flexible mesh with an additional external sealing sleeve. The flexible pipe is perforated with openings distributed between its frame. Favourably, the openings have an oval shape and their surface covers at least 60% of the entire internal surface of the flexible pipe.
Polish patent description no. 144484 discloses a flexible ventilation conduit.
Patent application PL 321035 discloses a method of manufacturing a flexible pipe conduit and the flexible pipe conduit itself. The method consists in wrapping the head spirally with a tape, whose one edge is covered with a layer of glue on one side and in simultaneous wrapping a wire in a spiral way along the edge of the roll of tape covered with a layer of glue. The edge of the roll of tape covered with a layer of glue and wire is then wrapped with another roll of tape whose edge without the glue covers the edge of the tape with the layer of glue and wire. Both edges of the tape along with the wire between them are then pressed together and glued into a monolith forming a flexible pipe-type conduit. The flexible pipe-type conduit consists of the edges of spirally wrapped tape glued together into a monolith and the spirally wrapped wire situated between the glued edges of tape.
The remaining technical problem is manufacturing a ventilation conduit which will be flexible and easy to install but at the same time its structure will be strong enough to withstand the loads caused by the possible crushing of the conduit and the changes in pressure inside the conduit while remaining in compliance with the currently binding standards in the scope of the diameters of structural elements. The already known solutions make use of pipes with corrugated walls based on technologies employed in manufacturing oversleeves for electric cables. The used solutions have high corrugation and thick walls, which improves their durability but results in decreased diameter of the pipe. At the same time, in ventilation systems making use of modular elements it is not possible to increase the diameter of the pipe due to the standards which apply to connections.
The pipe according to the utility model solves this problem by using an appropriate type of corrugation which reinforces the structure and rigidity of the pipe and increases the internal diameter of the pipe at the same time. Such a structural change is also possible as a result of using high-density polyethylene.
A pipe for ventilation channels with a circular cross-section and corrugated walls having a double-layered wall, where the internal wall is smooth and the internal diameter of the pipe is at least 64 mm and the external pipe is formed into corrugations, is characteristic in that the external pipe has the minimum diameter of 77 mm and the corrugation has the height of 4 mm to 5 mm and width of 5 mm to 6 mm.
Favourably, the corrugation has the height and width of 4,5 mm and its internal part is rounded while the external bulge is flattened and the vertical parts of the corrugation of the pipe are bevelled at the angle between 5° to 9°.
Favourably, the pipe is made of high-density polyethylene.
The pipe according to the model is durable and resistant to crushing enough and yet at the same time has an increased internal diameter which results in 30% lower airflow resistance for the same air stream as compared to the currently used standard ventilation channels, which makes it possible for higher volumes of air to flow in the standard ventilation systems.
One embodiment of the utility model is presented in the drawing, where fig 1 presents a cross-section of the corrugation of the pipe, fig 2 presents the cross-section of a pipe with exemplary sizing of the pipe, while fig 3 presents a section of the ventilation pipe according to the utility model.
A pipe 1 for ventilation channels with a circular cross-section and corrugated walls having a double-layered wall, where the internal wall 2 is smooth and the internal diameter of the pipe is at least 64 mm and the external pipe 3 is formed into corrugations, with the corrugation in the internal part 4 being rounded and the external bulge 5 flattened and the vertical parts of the pipe corrugation 6 bevelled at the angle of 7°. The minimum diameter of the pipe is 77 mm.
The entire pipe is made of high-density polyethylene.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 2 the external pipe has the thickness of 0,45 mm in places where the bulge is flattened and the thickening on the vertical sections increases the thickness to 0,63 mm, which then decreases to 0,54 mm in the top part of the vertical section of the corrugation and reaches 0,45 mm on the external flattening.
