Description

AN ADVERTISEMENT SYSTEM EMPLOYING CODE IMAGES
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention is related to a platform that enables the Broadcaster and the Consumer to interact easily and instantaneously without the need to use search engines, by means of the mobile application that the Consumer downloads to his/her mobile phone, where the application defines the image perceived, and allows the action assigned to the code defined for this image to be carried out immediately.
PRIOR ART
In the prior art, specific to every environment where the Consumer-Broadcaster and Advertiser trio is present, a system that provides the six points mentioned below for the consumer and that enables the consumer to have access to all kinds of information, opportunities, discount and advantages or allows them to make purchases, and provides additional advantages as the application is continued to be used, until the products etc. that the consumer has seen on TV, outdoor mediums, digital mediums and/or printed media and is curious or interested of, reaches the sales point, is not available. a) A technological interaction has not been provided between the Broadcaster and the Consumer. b) The consumer carries out a search via search engines, regarding the products he/she has seen in a medium and this situation leads to loss of time for the consumer and requires the advertiser to make more advertisements in order for the consumer to remember the brand and/or the related message and carry out a search. c) The distance of the phone to the related medium is limited in QR code applications and therefore it is difficult to be used by the consumer. d) A single message is submitted via the related code in QR code applications in terms of the advertiser and different advantages or opportunities cannot be presented to targeted groups at the same time. e) As the system cannot recognize the person who is scanning the code in QR code applications in terms of the advertiser, procedures such as demographic distribution or automatic form filling cannot be carried out. f) Location based scaling cannot be carried out by the advertiser at outdoor advertising. In TV’s, there is no data besides rating. Due to this reason, from which location outdoors or from which unit or from which program on TV, the number of forms/site visits/downloads or purchases are made can’t be verified.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention is related to Makaronla, which is a technological platform in order to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above and to set forth new advantages to the related technical field.
The invention is the only platform that unites the trio consisting of the consumer, broadcaster (TV, outdoor etc. mediums) and advertiser (brand). One of the aims of the invention is to create the shortest way to reach the trio consisting of the consumer, broadcaster and advertiser immediately and with ease and to bring this trio together in common interest by means of a single system.
Advantages of the invention;
a) It provides a technological interaction between the Broadcaster and the Consumer. b) It allows the consumer to reach the message or product that he/she has seen in the medium without using search engines. c) It allows the consumer to reach immediately and with ease to the related message without the need to use zoom or at a further distance between himself/herself and the related medium in comparison to the QR code when passing by the outdoor unit or when watching TV. d) It allows the advertiser to provide different advantages/discounts and/or opportunities according to demographic features of everyone that is using the application with a single advertisement message (via a single advertisement on TV or a single advertisement outdoors). Moreover it determines the location of the consumer when said consumer is close to the sales point, and sends a private message to the consumer when said consumer is close to said determined location so that the consumer can use the advantages/opportunities and/or discount code provided by the system. e) It allows the advertiser to have an automatic form filled by the consumer in addition to the URL, games, video and music contents directed by the related content assigned with said code. f) Thereby the advertiser can evaluate from which location outdoors or from which unit or from which program on TV, the number of forms/site visits/downloads or purchases are made. g) In addition to the advertorial, it will allow the broadcaster to be able to instantly and effortlessly deliver by with the URL assigned to the relevant code, the dress worn by the person in the broadcasted program, an item or tool appearing in the program, or the food items cooked in the program. At the same time, it enables the audience to participate in a TV competition from home or to it allows the viewers to decide on the developments or upcoming events in a series.
The technology used in the system of the invention is not a QR code or a barcode. The solutions provided by the invention to the technical field are as follows;

The mentioned invention is a technological platform that defines the image that is perceived by the application via the mobile application that has been downloaded into the mobile phone and thereby enables to instantaneously carry out the action assigned to said code identified to the image, that enables without the need for search engines the consumer to have access to all kinds of information, opportunities, discount and advantages or allows them to make quick purchases if desired, and provides additional advantages as the application is continued to be used, until the location/place/products etc. that the consumer has seen on the screen and is curious or interested of, reaches the sales point, for the consumer; a technological platform that defines the image that is perceived by the application via the mobile application that has been downloaded into the mobile phone by the TV viewer, and thereby enables to instantaneously carry out the action assigned to said code identified to the image, that enables without the need for search engines the viewer to have access to all kinds of information, campaigns, discount and advantages rapidly and besides this allows the viewer to participate in the programs on the TV screen while sitting at home and/or allows the viewer to change the content of the program, that initiates an interaction period between the TV and the viewer, and thereby allows the advertiser to carry out measurable and target oriented advertisement, that establishes a new income model with applications such as advertisement/product integration, sponsorship etc that shall be carried out within the program content and that shall provide additional income on top of the present advertisement income with all these assets, that allows affiliate marketing to be applicable in an offline medium that shall be carried out online, only from the internet (Although it can be used for all mediums such as TV, cinema, outdoor etc, only TV has been defined here) for the medium/user; a technological platform that defines the image that is perceived by the application via the mobile application that has been downloaded into the mobile phone and thereby enables to instantaneously carry out the action assigned to said code identified to the image, that enables without the need for search engines, the consumer to have access to all kinds of information, campaigns, discount and advantages rapidly until the location/place/products etc. that the consumer has seen on the screen and is curious or interested of, reaches the sales point, besides this that provides tailor-made special opportunities from general access to private access according to criteria such as age, gender and location etc., according to consumer segmentation, and again, that brings the advertiser into action with the consumer by means of a unilateral advertisement period by ensuring that the advertisements attract more attention, that eliminates all of the obstacles that the consumer comes across during purchasing as the consumer is allowed to see the product by allowing said consumer to use all of these opportunities via his/her mobile application and/or via the web site and/or the store, and additionally gives the opportunity to marketing people, to create new marketing and sales ideas, for the advertiser.
The operation principles of the platform in which the mechanism called “Makaronla” is located and the benefits it provides have been described below.
General Definitions:
Platform: Is the entire place where the businesses/players interact with each other, using the mechanism assembled with technological parts that have been developed and combined. (Figure 1) Mechanism: It is a structure that combines several technological and commercial parts that has functions and functionality. The detailed description of (Figure 1) has been given below.
Code Image (IoC): “The image of said code” is an image that is created by artificial intelligence algorithms, placed on the media that shall reach the consumer and in which the instructions to be given to the mobile application of the consumer is encoded.
Capturing region (Interaction area): Is the area where the code embedded into IoC is defined by the mobile application and can be decoded. It is sufficient for the user to activate the mobile application by holding the phone in this area vertical to the media where the IoC is placed, in order to carry out decoding (Figure 2).

Capturing with single touch: This is a feature that does not necessitate any other action than holding the phone upright for an IoC decoding within the capture zone, by activating the mobile application with a single touch. (Figure 2)
Platform Parts:
Players -Entities: (1-4)
Users (A): TV channels, Advertisers (Brand owners) and agencies. The users create campaigns, carry out targeting and reporting. Visual embedder of the related code (B): It allows all of broadcasters, creative agencies, media agencies, advertisers according to preference. It places the IoC of the campaign created by the user to be added to the targeted media mediums.
Broadcaster (C): All broadcasters that can come across IoC including TV’s, outdoor mediums, cinema and/or digital mediums.
Consumer (D): IoC They make use of the contents of the campaigns prepared by the user, by decoding the code image (IoC) by means of the application on the mobile phone.
Parts forming the E-Mechanism (I- VII);
Dashboard (I): Area where the users create all of the campaigns, and enter the IoC and campaign details and finalizes them, carries out the targeting and reporting activities.
Mobile Phone Application (II) (Ila-IIg sub parts): An application that allows the mobile phone to take the actions received from the dashboard by decoding of the IoC by the consumers.
Code Detection (Ila): The decoding of the IoC downloaded by the camera is carried out;
Machine Learning Algorithm Unit (Ilai): The code embedded into the IoC is decoded by means of the artificial intelligence and machine learning technology that is used.
Camera Control Unit (Ilaii): The focusing, HDR, diagram and posing settings are automated if necessary in order to correctly download the IoC together with automatic camera controls.
Wallet (lib): The promotion codes to be used in POSM’s are kept in the wallet.
Logic Gate (He): It realizes the defined action by tracking the motion of consumers according to the conditions defined in the campaign by the user. These actions operate to send notifications according to location, day and time. A notification is submitted to the user. Geo Tracker (lid): By means of the geographic tracker technology within the mobile application, the users are tracked and data is saved anonymously. Users send notifications according to the location of the consumers.
Consumer Data (He): The data of the consumers are anonymously saved and processed. At the same time, these anonymous data are grouped and are used for re-targeting.
Action History (Ilf): The data of the consumers are anonymously saved according to the past activities and past transactions.
Push Notification (Ilg): The consumer is regularly sent a notification and the consumer is asked for permission for doing so.
User Database (III): Location where all of the data of the consumers and users are processed and kept anonymously in the user database.
Affiliate Software (IV): It anonymously transfers to the sales affiliate software, the important actions that comply with the predetermined criteria and that is realized in the consumer application and page/URL. The anonymous data of the consumers are used to calculate costs. Detail: A method that is available for you to gain money from all digital sales houses and dealers by obtaining commission from each successful sale by advertising products, services, web sites or businesses.
Promo code Generator (V):Promo code is created according to the actions determined by users. The codes are sent to the wallets of the consumers that have carried out these actions. Example, a 5% discount token being sent to the consumer of the brand (advertiser).
Campaign Action Tracker (VI): All of the transactions of the consumer within the mobile application are tracked and are anonymously saved. These data are then used for invoicing and if desired, these data are shared with the user via the dashboard and/or as an excel notification. Invoicing Interface (VII): An invoice is billed for account balance with user following the reporting created according to consumer data and this is submitted to the user.

• A dashboard where the users create all of the campaigns, and enter the code images and campaign details and finalize them, where the targeting and reporting activities are carried out,

• An invoicing interface that enables an invoice to be billed for an account balance with user following the reporting created according to consumer data and submits said invoice to the user. The medium mentioned above is a TV channel, cinema or outdoor unit.
The actions/interactions (1-11) are described in detail below.
The operation method of the interactive platform (Makaronla) characterized by comprising the following process steps; i. After access to the dashboard is identified for the user, defining by the user, the campaign installations and targeting via the dashboard and moreover, reporting the continuing or finished campaigns (1), ii. Entering by the user, the details and definitions related to the code image (IoC) that is present in the dashboard, delivering via e-mail, the code image in order for said code visual embedder to be embedded into the targeted content (2), iii. Delivering the code image, to the necessary medium so that the code image defined for the campaign can be published in the medium and with the targeted content where the visual embedder of the related code is embedded (3) (the TV channel was taken as the target medium in the invention), iv. Reading of the code image broadcasted in a medium (TV channel and or outdoor unit etc.) located within the capturing region by the camera of the mobile phone, by opening the mobile application on the phone of the consumer (4), v. Decoding the code image after the consumer ensures that it is read and loaded to the mobile application by means of related algorithms and submitting the action code resulting as a result of said decoding to the dashboard in order for it to be queried (5), vi. Sending an instruction (via e-mail on the dashboard) via the dashboard for the actions to be taken by the mobile phone according to the identification of the action code submitted to the dashboard of the mechanism-invention; whereby the mobile phone application ensures the phone to take the following actions by means of these instructions (6):
• Opening a page/URL from any browser (6a),
• Opening a mobile phone application or directing to an application market where the related mobile application is being sold (6b), • Downloading the promotion code assigned to the campaign to the wallet in order for the consumers to use later on (6c). vii. Tracking the transactions of the consumer within the campaign (7) and:
• Tracking the actions and the finalization thereof during the travels of the consumer in the page/URL that they have been directed to (7a),
• Tracking the actions and the finalization thereof during the travels of the consumer in the mobile application that they have been directed to (7b),
• Tracking if the promotion code downloaded by the consumer to the wallet has been used online and offline (7c). viii. Tracking the actions defined when the campaign was created (8) and:
• Tracking all of the steps of the consumer in the mobile application (8a),
• Tracking how and where the consumer has used the promotion code (8b),
IX. Creating the invoice at the end of the campaign, which shows the details such as the consumer reached, the presentation and reading (9), x. Sending the invoice created for invoice balancing to the user (10), xi. Saving the consumer that is registered to the mobile application and its transactions to the user database anonymously and in consolidation (11).

Claims

1. The invention is an interactive platform, characterized by comprising:
• A dashboard where the users create all of the campaigns, and enter the code images and campaign details and finalize them, where the targeting and reporting activities are carried out,
• A mobile phone application that downloads the actions received from the dashboard into the phone, decodes the code using artificial intelligence and machine learning, enables focusing HDR, diagram and posing setting automation in order to download the code image correctly by using the camera control unit together with automatic camera control, that enables to keep the promotion codes in the wallet, that carries out the realization of the action defined by following the transactions of the consumer according to the conditions defined in the campaign by a logic gate and allows geographical tracking of users and allows the submission of regular notifications by means of the push notification feature,
• A user database where all of the data of the consumers and users are processed and kept anonymously,
• Sales affiliate software that transfers to itself anonymously the important actions that comply with the predetermined criteria and that is realized in the consumer application and page/URL.
• A promotion code creator that enables to create codes according to the actions determined by users,
• A code image that is created by artificial intelligence algorithms, placed on the media that shall reach the consumer and in which the directive to be given to the mobile application of the consumer is coded,
• A campaign action tracker that enables to track all of the transactions of the consumer within the mobile application and to anonymously save them,
• An invoicing interface that enables an invoice to be billed for an account balance with user following the reporting created according to consumer data and submits said invoice to the user.
2. The operation method of the platform according to claim 1 , characterized by comprising the following process steps; i. After access to the dashboard is identified for the user, defining by the user, the campaign installations and targeting via the dashboard and moreover, reporting the continuing or finished campaigns (1), ii. Entering by the user, the details and definitions related to the code image (IoC) that is present in the dashboard, delivering via e-mail, the code image in order for said code visual embedder to be embedded into the targeted content (2), iii. Delivering the code image, to the necessary medium so that the code image defined for the campaign can be published in the medium and with the targeted content where the visual embedder of the related code is embedded (3), iv. Reading of the code image broadcasted in a medium located within the capturing region by the camera of the mobile phone, by opening the mobile application on the phone of the consumer (4), v. Decoding the code image after the consumer ensures that it is read and loaded to the mobile application by means of related algorithms and submitting the action code resulting as a result of said decoding to the dashboard in order for it to be queried (5), vi. Sending an instruction (via e-mail on the dashboard) via the dashboard for the actions to be taken by the mobile phone according to the identification of the action code submitted to the dashboard; whereby the mobile application ensures the phone to take the following actions by means of these instructions (6):
• Opening a page/URL from any browser (6a),
• Opening of a mobile application, or directing the defined mobile application to the market (6b),
• Downloading the promotion code assigned to the campaign to the wallet in order for the consumers to use later on (6c). vii. Tracking the transactions of the consumer within the campaign (7) and:
• Tracking the actions and the finalization thereof during the travels of the consumer in the page/URL that they have been directed to (7a), • Tracking the actions and the finalization thereof during the travels of the consumer in the mobile application that they have been directed to (7b),
• Tracking if the promotion code downloaded by the consumer to the wallet has been used online and offline (7c). viii. Tracking the actions defined when the campaign was created (8) and:
• Tracking all of the steps of the consumer in the mobile application (8a),
• Tracking how and where the consumer has used the promotion code (8b), ix. Creating the invoice at the end of the campaign, which shows the details such as the consumer reached, the presentation and reading (9), x. Sending the invoice created for invoice balancing to the user (10), xi. Saving the consumer that is registered to the mobile application and its transactions to the user database anonymously and in consolidation.
3. A method according to claim 2, characterized in that said medium, is a TV channel, cinema or outdoor unit.
4. A method according to claim 2, characterized in that the instruction mentioned in item vi, is submitted via e-mail.
