Description

HIGH DENSITY TRIPLE FORMER HOLDERS ASSEMBLY
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a former holder, more particularly, assembly of the multiple former holders to increase the volume of glove lines in glove industry.
BACKGROUND ART
It is important to wear gloves when working with harmful chemicals and other materials because they protect our hands from infection and contamination. Its use has created demands for manufacturing of gloves industries.
The existing device for manufacturing gloves comprising multiple former holders. However said device design is in a vertical arrangement which taking up more spaces for the multiple former holders in an assembly whereby less number of former holders only can be assembled in a movable chain which would affect the overall production of gloves. Besides, there is instability in holding the multiple former holders together which also affecting the production of gloves significantly.
There have been several solutions provided to increase the volume of glove lines in glove industry, and few of them have been discussed below:
WO2015142155A1 discloses an improved double former holder assembly that is used in high speed latex dipping process for the production of products such as medical gloves. The double former holder assembly basically consists of a U-shaped bracket which is connected to two taper-L-shaped arms having an upright plate and a rectangular base plate. The U-shaped bracket has a base and two vertical ends and a pivotal rod. Each of the rectangular base plate of the two taper-L-shaped arms is used to hold at least one former holder. In the closed positional, the upright portion of the taper-L-shaped arms and aligned back to back with each other. In the open position the two L-shaped arms and the former holders can have an arcuate motion of up to 150°. MY-168511-A discloses a triple former holder assembly used in a glove manufacturing processes. The triple former holder assembly consists of a middle linkage arm being sandwiched between two opposing side linkage arms in a knuckle joint mechanism, each linkage arms having a former holder, which carries a former. The three linkage arms mounted onto the knuckle joint mechanism consisting of a C- bracket, a pin and an R-clip for the pin. The knuckle joint mechanism secure the three linkage arm arrangement in place and provide a means of rotation about the pin to accommodate for glove manufacturing processes’ requirements. This knuckle joint mechanism is attached to a conveyor chain via a connecting shaft. Bearings on 20 each connecting shaft aids the movement of the conveyor chain along the glove production line.
Accordingly, it can be seen in the prior arts that there exists a need to have an improved former holder assembly to increase the volume of glove lines in glove industry.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
An objective of the present invention is to provide multiple former holders to increase the production rate.
It is an objective of the present invention to provide flexibility for placing either three or two former holders according to the requisite of the production. It is further an objective of the present invention to provide stable production line with safely secured former holders.
Also, it is an objective of the present invention to provide a space saving former holder assembly whereby the arrangement of former holders are in a triangular arrangement which allows more former holders to be fixed and increases the number of former holders in a single line. Another objective of the present invention to modify the current double former lines with a triple former line which will allow us to produce 50% more compare to the existing double former production output. Further, another objective of the present invention to provide a cost saving former holder assembly whereby it allows higher former holders in a smaller area will ensure the maximum utilization of operation cost on utilities, energy and also labor with a reduction of 33.3% compare to the current high speed double former line. Accordingly, these objectives may be achieved by following the teachings of the present invention. The present invention relates to a former holder assembly comprising a plurality of former holders received by a pin and arranged adjacently, which permitting rotation around said pin, a first former holder of said plurality of former holders having a L-shaped arm, a second former holder of said plurality of former holders having an extended L-shaped arm, characterised in that, a third former holder of said plurality of former holders having a straight arm with a protruding arm, wherein said protruding arm is sitting in between the first former holder and the second former holder to increase capacity of a glove machine, wherein said pin is received by a shaft which connected to a movable chain of said glove machine.
