Abstract

The aim of the invention is to allow the use of laminated glass panels, without drilling and without rollers, for closing and opening bathroom enclosures, in a sliding system. To this end, two fixed guides (1) and (7), respectively external to the enclosure (for the fixed glass (VF)) and internal to the enclosure (for the movable glass (VM)), are coupled to each other by means of a movable base (8) that holds a movable profile (17) for accommodating the movable glass panel (VM). When the opening or closing action is imposed by the user, using a handle (P), the movable glass panel (VM) moves smoothly with its movable base (8) sliding along the internal fixed guide (7) to open and close the bathroom enclosure.

[003] It is known that Brazil has a coastal zone of over 8500 km in length - (Source: Ministry of the Environment; www.mma.gov.br/biodiversidade-aquatica/zona-costeira-e- Marinha.html) and, along it, thousands of homes that have some type of sliding glass installation, supported by a pulley. Due to the salt air of the tropical coast, pulleys in these coastal areas suffer severe damage much more quickly, than in other regions of the country. Therefore, the importance of eliminating the pulley system must be emphasized to meet the need for this entire territorial extension.
[004] Just to exemplify the above, the patent document BR 202014026915-6 called “IMPROVEMENTS INTRODUCED IN A BATHROOM BOX SLIDING DOOR” can be cited. Two images of this document are presented as figure 1, also only as an example for the request to be described later. For the image of this figure 1, the system of “pulleys” is observed, in this case called rollers, whose set (R) is mounted on a sliding reel (C) by a pair of rails (K) of the upper horizontal rail (T), closed by lid (5) and supported on supports (S) previously fixed on the walls of the bathroom stall. This upper horizontal rail (T) has vertical rails (10) for lateral fixation for the glass panels (V), which are supported inferiorly on a central guide (G) with rollers.
[005] This movement by pulleys or rollers, usually mounted on the rails by means of complex arrangements can also cause problems for these turning elements, imposing wear on them due to the climate, as has been said, and also to pressure due to unevenness, buckling of the tempered glass panels (of great weight) during opening and closing of the span. Another problem observed in relation to the pulley game is that its fixation, by axis through support, in the rail, leaves cracks with the surface of the glass panel and, although minimal, they can favor the disengagement of this closing and opening element when its movement through the boxing gap, requiring the use of covers that do not, generally do not give the user the necessary security, especially due to the heavy weight of the tempered glass which, if released, can cause accidents.
[006] In addition, there are also problems in the frame assembly itself, precisely because of the tempered glass (which undergoes a hardening process, acquiring great hardness), which must be drilled to receive the axle of the pulley set, handle and other elements , using drills that require a lot of cooling water during drilling work (ie, going against the current sustainability trend). It is common for assemblers, during the installation of these glass assemblies, to run, do not obey the ABNT basic rules for drilling the tempered glass panel, as for example the NBR 7199: 2016 standard for holes above 80 mm displaced: “a hole can be located at a board distance equal to its radius , as long as the other non-adjacent edge is at a distance of three times the radius for glasses from 9mm to 10mm and five times the radius for glasses from 8mm to 9mm. Exactly because of these incorrect procedures, the glass panels can undergo structural changes and, during use, in the opening and closing of the gap, this vulnerability because of the drilling, added to the action of the winds, buckling and other factors, end up triggering “Spontaneous explosions” of the panel ”.
[007] Thinking about the problems mentioned above, the inventor proposes, in this patent application, the use of laminated glass panels for bathroom stalls.
[008] For this purpose, the panels are mounted in a sliding arrangement, supported by two fixed guides coupled together, one of these, external to the box, receiving the fixed glass panel and both receiving, in common, the coupling of a base movable that is supported on the fixed guide, internal to the box, and that is screwed by a stop, to the receiver profile of the movable glass panel, with cover closure. Through this movable base coupled to the profile, both slide directed over the arrangement of fixed guides carrying the movable glass panel (moved by the user) for the opening and / or closing of the box, at the end of the smoothed stroke by whisk.
[009] The arrangement is light and simple in installation and effective in operation, with total absence of holes in the glass panels (prioritizing safety) and during the assembly itself set, allowing customization of the finish (several colors and textures options), absence of pulleys for moving the glass (minimizing maintenance), no difference in dimensions between glass panels, fixed and movable, with the slide guide made of special polymer of high density and high durability, in addition to offering a sustainable improvement in the production chain through savings in water resources and stock.
[010] Explained superficially, the laminated glass panel door and the mounting system that surrounds it, become more detailed.
[012] As figuras a seguir relacionadas, de 2 a 5, referem-se à porta para abertura e fechamento de vãos em questão, motivo desse pedido de patente: [011] The images in figure 1, as already explained, were extracted from patent document BR 202014026915-6 just as an example. [013] In accordance with the attached drawings, the “LAMINATED GLASS PANEL DOOR, WITH ASSEMBLY THROUGH SLIDING ASSEMBLY FOR THE OPENING AND CLOSING SYSTEMS OF VIDES”, object of this patent application, is inferior to a guide lower fixed (1), external to the box, receiving a support (2) and, by its teeth (3), receiving the locking of a finishing top (4), besides receiving, by its conformation of teeth and flap (5) the locking of teeth and corresponding flaps (6) of another fixed guide (7), internal to the box. As shown in details A and B in figure 2, after the initial coupling, the fixed external guide (1) receives the “just” fit of the lower edge of the fixed glass panel (VF) and also receives the coupling of a movable base ( 8) attached by its side with a circular tip (9) between teeth (10) of a side rail (11) of the said external fixed guide (1), the same movable base (8) being seated by its half-cane portion ( 12), on the internal fixed guide (7). In addition, the movable base (8) incorporates superiorly, aligned to the half-cane portion (12), a eyelet (13) in which the semicircular cradle (15) of a movable profile is aligned (14) by teeth (14) 16), forming a hole (17) for screwing a stop (18). With the screwing, the stop (18), with the same profile as the movable base (8), locks the latter (8) to the movable profile (16), which, in turn, still receives a support (19) when laying “tight” fitting of the lower edge of the movable glass panel (VM), completed by a whisk (20), with lateral closure by means of a lower cover (21) equipped with upper teeth (22), as well as details C and D in figure 2 and details E and F in figure 3.
[014] Through the teeth (22) of the lower cover (21), the lower ends of the vertical rails (23) of the lateral support of the glass panels (VF) and (VM) are attached, whose upper ends are coupled in teeth ( 24) of the upper cover (25), which laterally closes the upper fixed guide (26), as shown in figure 4. As can be seen from the details G and H, this upper fixed guide (26) has a front track (27) along its extension, receiving the sliding fitting of a finishing panel (28), in addition to being formed by an internal guide (29) that houses the beater (30) and that receives the “tight” fitting of the upper edge of the movable glass (VM), in addition to a external fixed guide (31), receiver of the “just” fitting of the upper edge of the fixed glass (VF).
[015] Thus assembled, as shown in figure 5, for the use of boxing the door has its movable glass (VM) pulled from a handle (P), which is fastened at the desired point from a template (no shown) by means of adhesive tape. When brought in the direction of the opening, the movable glass (VM), seated on the support (19) of the movable profile (16), slides smoothly through the movable base (8) in contact without friction by its half-cane portion (12) (polymer high density), until reaching the opposite side of the box by the stop (18), at the end of the course also smoothed by the beater (20). The same occurs in the upper guide (26), with the end of the movable glass (VM) smoothed by the beater (30) of the internal guide (29).
[016] As noted, the set avoids the use of drilling and, consequently, screws, notably facilitating installation in the bathroom stall in any of the assembly steps, from the fixed guides (1) and (7) lower, the vertical rails (23) as well as the upper fixed guide (26), which are fixed to the floor, walls and beam by applying silicone glue or even adhesive tape. The locking between the fixed guide (1) and the movable profile (17) that carries the movable glass (VM) is made by engaging from the movable base (8), receiving a single screw. The glass panels (VF) and (VM) are likewise only fitted between the external guide (1), movable profile (17) and the upper external (27) and internal (29) guides, with these facades being “fair” by its lower and upper edges without leaving, (as in the pulley system) undesirable cracks that can cause disengagement during the opening. e-closes boxing, avoiding accidents. Because there is no need for drilling, the glass panels (VF) and (VM) can be manufactured in laminated glass, lightweight, less expensive and environmentally friendly. The finishing cover (28) that is inserted in the front rail (27) of the upper guide (26), can have a different texture and color from the set, in order to customize it according to the consumer's desire, thus bringing an aesthetic appeal more after installation in the bathroom stall.
[017] As noted, the advantages in relation to the pulley system, is perfectly noticed in the set in question, due to the lightness, simplicity in the installation, in the assembly system between the components, in the use (safer), in short, bringing visible both technical and aesthetic and commercial innovations. Of course, the number of laminated glass panels can vary according to the dimensions of the box, as long as the same mounting system is maintained.
