Drawer for drive mechanism of an opening / closing means of at least one shutter

The present invention relates to a construction comprising a masontena, an opening with a window and a shutter and a drawer for a mechanism for actuating an opening / closing means of at least one shutter. Document DE-U-94 18875 describes such a construction comprising the features of the preamble of claim 1.

This invention relates to the scope of manufacture of the facilities intended to close an opening provided at the level of a construction and, more particularly, the scope of manufacture of the devices intended to receive a drive mechanism of an opening / closing means. of at least one shutter of type shutter of which a building is provided, in particular residential.

Devices are already known to receive such a drive mechanism and that take the form of a drawer usually implanted at the threshold level of an opening, even that is supported by this threshold. As described in document FR-2,807,781, such a drawer is sized so as to allow the closure of the shutters and is designed to retract behind this or these shutters when they are closed, so that it is invisible for a observer located outside the building.

It will be noted that the drive mechanism housed in the drawer is connected, through an opening / closing means, at least to a shutter rotatably mounted on hinges normally implanted at the level of the facade of the construction and located, so therefore, in a displaced manner with respect to this drive mechanism and this opening / closing means so that, in order to be able to operate such a shutter in an appropriate manner, this mechanism and / or this opening / closing means must involve movement transmission organs whose Structure is often complex, such as cams, connecting rods, levers or the like.

According to another feature, the drive mechanism housed in the drawer has or is associated with a drive motor generally also implanted inside said drawer. This motor is of the electric type and requires an electric power supply that implies a cable connection of this motor to the electrical installation of the building. Such a cable connection requires either to provide electrical cables for a new construction, or to place new electrical cables in the framework of the renovation of an older construction with the realization problems and the aesthetic inconveniences that this entails.

In addition and since the electric cables come from inside the building and that the drawer is usually arranged outside this construction, between the window and the closed shutters, these electric cables must, as the case may be, go through the masonry or the frame of said window, so that it is necessary either to provide, or make, as appropriate, an opening at the level of the masonry or a hole at the level of the window frame with the problems of realization, intervention and / or aesthetic that this implies.

From document FR-2486139, a device for receiving an opening / closing drive mechanism of at least one shutter-type shutter that equips a building is known. Such a device is presented in the form of a drawer containing a mechanism of actuation of a round iron rod that, on the one hand, crosses the drawer as well as a hollow hinge attached to the mampostena and, on the other hand, attached to the lower hinge of the shutter.

For this purpose, it is observed that the drive mechanism acts only on an opening / closing means constituted by a round iron rod, which presents a certain number of drawbacks, in particular in terms of efforts necessary to ensure the rotation drive. of the shutter. In addition, such opening / closing means and, consequently, at least a part of the drawer must imperatively be implanted in the front part of the mampostena and in a laterally displaced way with respect to the equipped opening of the shutter, which also presents here, a certain number of drawbacks, in particular in terms of tightness of the drawer and the movement of the drive mechanism. In addition and in order to implement this opening / closing means in this way, the drawer (which takes the form of a hollow reinforced concrete drawer and which contains the drive mechanism) must imperatively be implanted in the support wall to which This drawer is fixed by work, including being integrated into the masonry (more particularly instead of a window sill), which also presents a certain number of drawbacks, in particular the need to intervene on the masonry.

The present invention aims to be able to eliminate the disadvantages of the devices of the state of the art.

Another preferred feature still refers to the fact that the exposed part of the part of the drawer that is sandwiched between the masonry and the shutter (s) adopts, at least in part, the shape of a wing or a portion of the drawer that, on the one hand, it extends substantially perpendicular to the general direction in which the drawer extends, in front of the shutter (s) in the closing position of the latter or the latter and, on the other hand, receives said solar collector.

An additional feature is that this drawer ensures the cladding, as the case may be, of the threshold or lintel of the opening that receives a window, door or the like that closes this opening.

The advantages of the present invention are that the part of the drawer that is sandwiched between the shutter (s) and the mampostena allows a part of the opening / closing means of the shutter (s) to be brought closer, including a part of the actuation mechanism of this means opening / closing the axis of rotation of this or these shutters and, consequently, decreasing the displacement of this opening / closing means and / or of this drive mechanism with respect to this axis.

Another advantage of this invention is that this part of the drawer receives a solar collector always seen for the supply of electric energy from a motor of the drive mechanism of the opening / closing means of the shutter (s). The presence of this solar collector advantageously allows this motor to supply the electric power necessary to drive the drive mechanism and prevents any cable connection of this motor to the electrical installation of the building.

Another advantage is still that the placement of such a drawer does not require any intervention in the masonry, or modify an existing installation.

Other objectives and advantages of the present invention will appear in the course of the following description which refers to embodiments which are given only by way of indicative and non-restrictive examples.

This drawer 16 is implanted at the level of the opening 2 of the construction 3, in front of said window 4, door or the like.

For this purpose and according to an additional feature of the invention, part 19 of the drawer 16 has a part 22 that is seen on the outer side of the construction 3, in a closed and / or open position of the or of the shutters 5, 5 ' .
