  • the main panel 2 may be provided with finger hole tabs 90, which may be hingedly connected to the main panel 2 by a prefabricated fold line 91.
  • the finger hole tabs 90 which initially may lay substantially flush with the main panel 2, may facilitate that printing, for instance for marketing or promotional purposes, may initially extend over the finger holes 9, for instance until a user pushes these finger hole tabs 90 downwards to a position such as shown in Figure 2.
  • the top-gripping carrier 1 does not cover the top sides of the hds 61 of the cans 6. This may for instance facilitate that the bottoms of other cans 6, for instance the cans of a further multipack, may be nested into said lids 61. Besides, such a design may require relatively few material.

  • the can carrier in particular its main panel, may be provided with one or more perforation lines, that can form part of a zip release or pull tab, which may allow a user to tear off a part of the main panel in a relatively easy manner in order to break the can receiving aperture into an opening which is open at one of its sides, and no longer enclosed by the main panel, thereby enabling that the beverage can may be removed relatively easily by sliding it substantially sidewardly out of the opening in the remaining part of the main panel.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un support de canette de boisson à préhension par le haut comprenant un panneau principal (2) de matériau en feuille de carton présentant au moins une ouverture de réception de canette (3). Le panneau principal est doté d'une série de pattes de verrouillage (4) raccordées de manière articulée au panneau principal au moyen d'une ligne de pliage respective (5), et disposées autour de l'ouverture de réception de canette. Chaque patte de verrouillage s'étend à partir de la ligne de pliage respective en direction d'un bord de retenue (40) pour venir en prise avec une face inférieure d'une partie faisant saillie radialement d'une canette de boisson devant être reçue dans l'ouverture de réception de canette. Le bord de retenue est situé davantage vers l'intérieur par rapport à l'ouverture de réception de canette que ladite ligne de pliage. Chaque patte de verrouillage peut pivoter autour de la ligne de pliage respective à partir d'une position initiale de la patte de verrouillage respective, dans laquelle ladite patte de verrouillage respective se trouve sensiblement alignée avec le panneau principal, en direction d'une position repliée dans laquelle ladite patte de verrouillage est sous un angle avec le panneau principal. Le panneau principal comprend une série de sections de support de col (44) faisant partie intégrante du panneau principal et définissant des bords de support de col qui sont situés davantage vers l'intérieur par rapport à l'ouverture de réception de canette que les lignes de pliage des pattes de verrouillage. Au moins dans la position initiale des pattes de verrouillage, les bords de retenue des pattes de verrouillage s'étendent davantage vers l'intérieur par rapport à l'ouverture de réception de canette que les bords de support de col.
