Description
FIXING APPARATUS FOR PARTS THAT CANNOT BE FIXED BY MAGNETIC FORCE SUCH AS FRICTION WEDGE IN GRINDING MACHINES
Technical Field
Invention relates to an apparatus providing fixing of parts to be grinding cannot fixable by magnetic force onto magnetic table, such as friction wedge used in metal forms.
The invention particularly relates to fixing apparatus comprising a base table providing seating of fixing apparatus on the magnetic table, at least two compressing wedges providing fixing of part to be grinding onto said base table, at least two compressing rods passing through connection holes created on part to be grinding and providing fixing by applying compression on the base table and bearings formed on compressing wedges to provide housing of said compressing rods.
Present State of the Art
A basic shaping method, the grinding process of machining by abrasive grain of a certain geometry or hard, cornered in free form and made by sets created by whole forms of such grains. Grinding process in manufacturing is preferred to process workpieces in specified sensitive tolerance ranges, eliminate deformation occurring as a result of heating process, machining hardened surfaces and obtaining quality and shining surfaces.
In the prior art the parts to be machining is to be fixed to grinding machine by use of work fixing tools such as machine clamp, connecting bolt and wedges, magnetic tables. Particularly, transverse or longitudinal poles forming magnetic tables are used for connection of magnetized parts made from metal material, and fixing parts to be grinding is provided by magnetizing method. Wedge parts magnetized are sequenced around non-magnetized (not attracted by magnetic force) in magnetic tables and compression and fixing of non magnetizing parts is provided. However, it is likely that not magnetized parts may release from other parts and fly out in this method.
When literature is searched, a utility model application numbered TR2014/04185 is encountered and it discloses a grinding machine comprising of top body performing grinding of surfaces in various geometry and thickness, connection body and a lower body. Grinding machine of the invention has a magnetic body placed on lower body for fixing work piece. Magnetic body has cores and said cores are wound onto bobbin. Thus, N and S poles formation is provided. A semi-roller is used to wind bobbin onto core. Semi-roller also provides electromagnetic insulation between surface of placement and magnet body. Work
piece to be grinding is thus exposed to electromagnetic force of attraction and thus fixing is provided.
In said methods of the prior art measurement accuracy of part cannot be provided because of machining parts going under the part. Also, part to be machined may move as compression is not provided adequately. In addition to all of these, the wedge may release from the parts providing compression and fly out.
In conclusion, due to above mentioned negativities and deficiencies, it is needed to make novelty in the prior art.

Primary purpose of the invention is to provide fixing of parts that are non-fixable by magnetic force to magnetic table and provide grinding.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide fixing of part to be grinding to grinding machine in a safe manner.
A further purpose of the invention is to prevent machining wastes between magnetic table and surface to be contacted.
Another purpose of the invention is to reduce danger of parts flying out.
In order to achieve above purposes, the invention is a fixing apparatus providing fixing of parts to be grinding cannot fixable by magnetic force in grinding machines and thus providing machining thereof and characterized in comprising

Detailed Description of the Invention
This detailed description describes fixing apparatus (A) fixing parts to be grinding (110) cannot fixable by magnetic force, such as friction wedge used in metal forms, to magnetic table and thus providing grinding thereof only for better understanding of the subject without any restrictive effects.
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of fixing apparatus (A) and figure 2 shows top view of it. The fixing apparatus (A) in general comprises a base table (120) providing seating of fixing apparatus (A) on the magnetic table, at least two compressing wedges (130) providing fixing of part to be grinding (110) onto said base table (120), at least two compressing rods (140) passing through connection holes (111) created on part to be grinding (110) and providing fixing by applying compression on the base table (120) and bearings (131) formed on compressing wedges (130) to provide housing of said compressing rods. (140).
The trust member (150) providing a reference seating specified during initial location of the part to be grinding (110) onto base table (120) also provides support of part to be grinding (110), on the fixing apparatus (A). Connection members (160) provides connection of trust member (150) to base table (120) and inserting into contact housings (132) formed on compressing wedge (130) and force application onto compressing rod (140), and said connection members (160) are bolts.
Contact holes (121) are formed on base table (120) in order to provide fixing of trust member (150) to base table (120) by connection member (160) and while applying force to compressing rod (140) by compressing wedge (130) to locate tightened connection member (160). Figure 3 gives a mounted/demounted status view of fixing apparatus (A).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said base table (120) is made from material attractable by magnetic force and the surface where it is seated onto magnetic table is smooth. Bearings (131) provided on compressing wedge (130) is of feature in different number and of different axis sizes. Thus, location of part to be grinding (110) in various sizes onto base table (120) can be provided. Figure 4 is side view of fixing apparatus (A).
Working principle of fixing apparatus of the invention is as follow;
Parts to be grinding (110) not attractable by magnetic force are placed between two compressing wedges (130) on the base table (120) and position is adjusted by trust member (150). Compressing rods (140) pass through connection holes (111) formed on part to be grinding (110) and bearings (131) formed on compressing wedge (130). By means of connection members (160) compressing wedge (130) is fixed onto base table (120). During that time upon tightening connection members (160) force applied onto compressing rods (140) by compressing wedge (130) increases. Because compressing rods (140) pass through connection holes (111) formed on the part to be grinding (110), compression increasing on compression rods (140) is transmitted to part to be grinding (110). As a result, the part to be grinding (110) is compressed between compressing rods (140) and base table (120) and thus fixing is provided. Fixing apparatus (A) having the part to be grinding (110) can also be fixed to magnetic table by means of base table (120)
By means of fixing apparatus (A) of the invention, fixing parts to be grinding (110) cannot fixable by magnetic force such as friction wedge are fixed to grinding machine in a safe manner and machining parts going between surface in contact with magnetic table during grinding is prevented. In addition, flying out of the part to be grinding (110), from placed location is prevented.
