Description

A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTEGRATING
HEALTHCARE SERVICES AND PATIENT CARE AT THE PATIENT’S DOORSTEP
FIELD OF INVENTION [0001] The embodiment herein generally relates to the field of healthcare services. More specifically, the invention provides a system and method for integrating healthcare services and patient care at the patient’s door step. BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART
[0002] Improvement in communication networks and the adoption of internet and mobile phone technology by a vast population have given rise to many services and services providers providing door step delivery services to the users. [0003] The advent of providing services to the users in the comfort of their home has further fueled the concept of providing health care and accessory products and services at the user’s door step. [0004] The prior arts provided in this field mostly manage the delivery of single health care service at a time.
[0005] Some other prior arts generally relate to the delivery of pharmacy items to the patient’s home, whereas another prior art relates to scheduling the doctor appointments and manage them through internet enabled devices. [0006] There are some other prior arts that help the users search the nearest available hospital and doctor along with their service quality reviews.
[0007] But none of the prior arts mentioned above integrates all the healthcare services and providers for the ease of the access of the users.
[0008] Therefore, there is a need to develop a system and a method for integrating health care services and patient care at the patient’s door step. Further there is still a need to develop a system and a method, that integrates the healthcare services, healthcare service providers, health care related product providers and other healthcare related accessory service provider to provide the user the desired healthcare services and/or healthcare products in the comfort of the patient’ s or the user’ s home.

According to an embodiment, the method of integrating healthcare services and patient care at the patient’s doorstep comprising the steps of accessing of the healthcare platform by the user, registering of the user with the details related to his medical history using the user interface, recommending the appropriate services for the user by the system based on the medical history of the user.

Claims

claim:
1. A method 200 for integrating healthcare services and patient care at the patient’s doorstep, wherein the method comprises the steps: accessing of the healthcare platform by the user 201 ; registering of the user with the details related to his medical history using the user interface 203; recommending the appropriate healthcare services for the user by the system based on the medical history of the user 205; displaying of the list of the health care service providers providing the service desired by the user present around the user’s location 206 ; selection of the healthcare service provider by the user 207; paying of the fee by the user for the desired health care service and/or product 208; notification to the selected healthcare provider by the platform regarding the user purchase 209; dispatching of the purchased healthcare service and/or product by the healthcare service provider 210; tracking of the healthcare product and/or service on the map by the user for expected delivery time 211; and receiving of the purchased health care service and/or product by the user 212.
2. The method 200 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the method includes, searching of the desired healthcare services and/or products by the user 204.
3. The method 200 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the method includes reviewing and rating of the service and/or product of the healthcare service provider.
4. The method 200 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the method includes tracking real time location of the user for providing information relating to the healthcare product and/or service providers near the user location.
5. The method 200 as claimed in claim 1, wherein tracking of the location of the product and/or service after the dispatch and estimated delivery time by the service provider is enabled.
6. The method 200 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the method includes scheduling and managing appointments with the healthcare practitioners.

A system 100 for integrating healthcare services and patient care at the patient door step, wherein the system comprises: a user interface 102, a resource engine 103, a cloud communication layer 104, a server 105 and a database 106. wherein the user interface 102 provided for facilitating the plurality of users to register in the system for the desired healthcare services, search the desired healthcare provider and purchase the healthcare services and/or product for door step delivery; wherein the resource engine 103 includes: an allopathy module 107 configured to list healthcare service providers and/or products related to allopathy medicine; a homeopathy module 108 configured to list healthcare service providers and/or products related to homeopathic medicine; an ayurvedic module 109 configured to list healthcare service providers and/or products related to ayurvedic medicine; a nursing module 110 configured to list service providers for providing nursing services and home care services to the user; a physiotherapy module 111 configured to list service providers for providing physiotherapy services to the user; a laboratory module 112 configured to list service providers for providing laboratory services to the user; an emergency module 113 configured to list service providers for providing emergency services to the users; and a pharmacy module 114 configured to list service providers for providing pharmacy services to the users.
8. The system 100 as claimed in claim 7, wherein the user interface is accessible through a plurality of electronic communication devices 102 that includes laptop, mobile and tablets.
9. The system 100 as claimed in claim 7, wherein the resource engine communicates 103 with the server 105 through a secure cloud communication layer 104.
10. The system 100 as claimed in claim 7, wherein the system automatically recommends the healthcare services to the user based on the user’s medical history.
