Description
A DOMING LABEL FOR USE IN TEXTILE PRODUCTS AND A PRODUCTION
METHOD
Technical Field
Invention relates to a doming label applicable to tags and directly to textile products, and a production method.
The invention particularly relates to a doming label showing a high transferable onto surface where applied in tags used in textile products or textile.
Present State of the Art
Tags are highly important structures for introduction of products also in textile sector as I is in all sectors, giving information about product and promotion of brand of product. Tags in printing format applied onto material surface in textile sector or adapted by means of sewing onto material in particular determine preference for buying and enhances visibility and recognition of brand. For that purpose, tags representing brand are expected to be visible, aesthetic, value added and impressive. The tags which can provide such features at the highest rate are doming labels. Doming labes are applied in many sectors and frequently preferred. Since doming labels are in sticker form, they can provide transfer onto hard and smooth surface structures such as white properties, furniture, vehicle etc. and fields of use can be in this line.
Application of doming labels to textile surfaces and textile materials labels is not possible for said reasons. Since textile surfaces are not hard but allow flexibility, transferring of doming labels to surfaces is problem. In addition, textile products are exposed to operations of repetitive mechanical and heat differences by means of operations such as washing, drying, ironing etc. In such case, even transferring of doming labels to textile materials is achieved, keeping tag on surface for long time becomes impossible. In addition, doming labels used in standard applications contain mercury in their structure. Therefore, use of doming labels in textile materials is risky for human health as they contact skin.
As a result, due to above described disadvantages and inadequacy of existing solutions it has been necessary to make development in the related art.
Brief Description of the Invention
Present invention relates to a doming labels convenient for use on textile surfaces and textile tags and meeting all above requirements, eliminating all disadvantages and providing some further advantages, and a production method.
Primary purpose of the invention is to provide a doming labels of elastic structure transferring onto materials of soft and flexibility capacity such as textile surfaces and labels, and a production method for it.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide a doming label not constituting any risk for human health when contacting skin.
A further purpose of the invention is to disclose a doming label not affected by mechanical and heating processes such as washing, drying ironing etc.
In order to achieve above mentioned purposes, the invention relates to a doming label defined by a visual layer and a resin (polyurethane and silicone) layer provided on said visual layer. Said doming label comprises transferring surface capable to have flexibility whereon it is applied by means of pressing onto visual layer so as to use on textile goods.
The invention also relates to a production method for a doming label prepared by use of a visual layer prepared digitally and a resin (polyurethane and silicone) layer created by resin (polyurethane and silicone) blobbed from needle blobbing unit onto said visual layer and dried in a drying room. Accordingly, said doming label production method comprises of following steps. a) Printing visual layer onto a transferring surface by means preferably a printing machine, before creating resin (polyurethane and silicone) layer, b) Transferring of doming label taken from drying room to textile material by transferring machine.
The structural and characteristics features of the invention and all advantages will be understood better in detailed descriptions with the figures given below and with reference to the figures, and therefore, the assessment should be made taking into account the said figures and detailed explanations.
Brief Description of the Drawings
Figure 1 is a schematic cross-section view of doming label being subject of the invention. Figure 2 is a flow diagram of doming label production disclosed under invention.
The drawings are not necessarily to be scaled and the details not necessary for understanding the present invention might have been neglected. In addition, the components which are equivalent to great extent at least or have equivalent functions at least have been assigned the same number.

In this detailed description, the doming label (10) being subject of this invention has been disclosed solely for the purpose of better understanding of the subject and described in a manner not causing any restrictive effect.
Invention discloses a doming label (10) embodiment that can be used in flexible and non- hard textile surfaces and labels. With reference to Figure 1 showing cross-sectional schematic view, the doming label (10) comprises a transferring surface (11) a visual layer (12) provided on said transferring surface (11) and a resin layer (13) to keep said visual layer (12) and transferring surface (11) together and to for doming label (10) form.
Production of doming label (10) disclosed under the invention is achieved by a production system (20) in line with production method of which operation flow diagram is shown in Figure 2. In this line, firstly, visual such as logo, brand, figure etc. forming visual layer (12) is provided on the doming label (10). The prepared visual layer (12) is printed by preferably a printing machine (21) of serigraph, digital type onto transferring surface (11) of preferably plate form. The transferring surface used here is a surface of preferably
thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), polyurethane (PU), sticky transfer film, etc. Said surfaces have sticky feature under heat and are easily applied onto textile materials. Transferring surface (11) is capable of flexibility allowing adaptation onto textile materials of soft surface and flexible structure. Upon printing visual layer (12) onto transferring surface (11), resin is blobbed onto transferring surface (11) and visual layer (12) by blob printing method by use of needle blobbing unit (22) and thus resin layer (13) is provided.
The obtained doming label (10) is left for drying at preferably room temperature at preferably dust-free drying room (23). Fully dried doming label (10) is conveyed to a conveying belt (24) and sent to transfer machine (26). Doming label (10) is transferred onto intended textile surface o label material by means of temperature and pressure applied at transferring machine (26). Depending on product whereon doming label (10) will be transferred, doming label (10) is cut by a cutting unit (25) and shaped. The cutting unit (25) to be used can be preferably laser, a blade or a plotter.
Use of transferring surface (11) in the structure wherein doming label (10) can not be glued onto textile materials by production method provides transfer. Such transferring is provided by means of adaptability to textile materials thanks to flexibility feature of transferring surface (11). Transferring of doming label (10) of the invention onto textile materials also prevents removal of doming label (10) from textile materials under effect of mechanic and thermal operations such as washing, drying, ironing. Also since obtained doming label (10) product does not contain mercury, use of it on textile materials in a manner to contact skin does not cause any health risk.
