Description
A FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM AND A FIRE ALARM BALL THEREOF
Technological Field:
The invention is related to a fire alarm ball that enables early detection of fires, to be used in any kinds of environments and particularly forestlands.
State of the Art:
Forest fires are seen in many parts of the world and cause serious material as well as intangible damages. The studies and systems for early detection of the fires aim to prevent damage of the fires. The systems intended for the early detection of the fires can provide early detection of possible fires by means of data transmissions carried out by the satellite views, sensors and wireless networks. The invention subject to the description describes an alarm ball which detects fires and alerts the main center.
In the state of the art, the early detection systems used in the forestlands are provided with detectors. Such detectors can be spotted by the people trekking around those areas. In such cases, people can steal the detectors and can make the same obsolete by changing their location.
The detectors used in the state of the art are manually placed in the fields. However, it is not possible to reach some forestlands with manpower. In such conditions, the detectors are required to be released to the fields by means of helicopter and similar aircrafts. The detectors in the market are not sufficiently durable.
In the Chinese patent document No CN208422050 (U) found in the literature research made, a warning system which detects the forest fires early is disclosed. In the system which is described in the document, a platform is erected within the area to be supervised and the platform monitors the forestland by means of a camera, infrared and sensors. The platform solution is both very costly and also cannot be applicable to all forestlands. Some forests cannot be penetrated by land vehicles. At the same time, the environment can be damaged while it is being erected. Another disadvantage is that the platforms need constant maintenance and repair.
Consequently, a fire detection system is required wherein the state of the art is
surpassed, the disadvantages are eliminated.
Brief Description of the Invention:
The invention is a fire alarm ball providing a fire detection system which surpasses the state of the art, eliminates the disadvantages and has some additional advantages.
The aim of the invention is to provide a fire detection method (system) which is provided by fire alarm balls placed in a forestland.
Another aim of the invention is to provide a fire alarm ball which has an exterior in camouflage in forestland colours in order not to be subjected to stealing, displacement, damage by animals.
Another aim of the invention is to provide a fire alarm ball which detects the fires with its heat and smoke sensors transmits its data from its sensors as well as its GPS location to the center via an antenna.
The present invention, in order to fulfil all the aims mentioned above and as will emerge from the detailed description below, is a fire alarm ball to be used in any kind of environments particularly forestlands, which enables early detection of wildfires, characterized in that; it consists of a body of the size of a tennis ball and a spherical form, comprising a camouflage print coating on the external surface of said body in forest and land colors so as to make the fire alarm ball not to be detectable by humans and animals.
Description of the Figures:
The invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, thus the characteristics of the invention will be understood clearly. However, the aim of this is not to limit the invention with such certain embodiments. On the contrary, it is aimed to cover all alternatives, amendments and equivalents which may be contained in the field defined by the accompanying claims.

Description of the Invention:
In this detailed description, the inventive fire alarm ball (1) is described by means of examples only for clarifying the subject matter such that no limiting effect is created. In the description, a fire alarm ball (1) to be used in any kinds of environments particularly forestlands which enables early detection of fires is disclosed.
In Figure 1 , a front view of the inventive fire alarm ball (1) is given. Accordingly, the fire alarm ball (1) consists of a body (10) which has a tennis ball size, has a spherical form. The external coating (11) of the body (10) has camouflage colours appropriate to the forestland colour, thus they will continue to perform their activities in the land during long years without being noticed by the people and the animals. Similarly, the external coating (11) material of the body (10) is manufactured from rubber material, the durability of the fire alarm ball (1) is increased against conditions such as releasing the fire alarm balls (1) from the helicopter. On the body (10) of the fire alarm ball (1), there is an antenna (12) that makes data transmission to the main center, a heat sensor receiver (13) that measures the temperature value of the external environment and a smoke sensor receiver (14) that measures the amount of fume. The fire alarm ball (1) operates with lithium battery (18). The discharged energy of the battery (18) is filled actively through transforming the solar energy obtained from the solar panel (15) located on the body (10) into the electrical energy.
In Figure 2, a sectional view of the inventive fire alarm ball (1) is given. In the sectional view, it is seen that, the internal portion of the body (10) is filled with the foam padding (19), a transmitter (16), GPS (17), battery (18), heat sensor (20) and smoke sensor (21) are placed within the cavities of the foam padding (19). The smoke sensor (21) detects the smoke via the smoke sensor receiver (14), the heat sensor (20) detects the abnormal heat changes via the heat sensor receiver (13) and together they transmit data actively to the main center. Data transmission is enabled via the antenna (12) and the transmitter (16). The location of the fire alarm ball (1) can be tracked through GPS (17).
The inventive fire alarm ball (1) will be released to the predefined areas in predefined numbers in the forest land and thus will enable early detection of the fires. The most important aspect here is indicated as its comprising a camouflage colour external coating (11) which allows it to be hidden in the forestland so as not to be detectedby the humans and animals.
