Description

Dispositif d’aide au portage dorsal d’un sac de type sac à dos ou cartable Device to assist with carrying a backpack or satchel-type bag on the back
DOMAINE TECHNIQUE DE L’INVENTION TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[1] The field of the invention is that of luggage storage.
[2] More specifically, the invention relates to a device for assisting the back carrying of a backpack or satchel type bag.
[3] The invention finds applications in particular for helping an individual such as a child or a teenager to carry on his back a bag which weighs a significant weight, higher than the usual recommendation fixing the maximum weight of a bag at 10. % of the weight of such individuals.
ÉTAT DE LA TECHNIQUE STATE OF THE ART
[4] Carrying a heavy bag on a regular basis can be tedious, even tricky during an individual's growth period.
[5] The overweight of school bags, which often weighs 20% of children or adolescents who carry them between a home and a school, is also a real public health problem. Wearing such bags can in fact cause deformations in the skeleton, respiratory compressions, or even scoliosis or low back pain.
[6] In order to remedy this, it is known from the prior art techniques for helping the carrying of a backpack or satchel type bag.
[7] There are thus techniques to roll the bag which is then no longer carried but pulled.
[8] However, these techniques are hardly satisfactory. Besides the noise generated by the rolling of such a bag, these techniques have the drawback of causing imbalances in the spinal column. Indeed such bags are pulled with an arm which is stretched backwards. Such bags are also lifted regularly in order to climb a step or even a staircase, which is not very practical and can lead to trauma to a shoulder. [9] It should also be noted that this type of wheeled bag has been prohibited by certain schools, which recommend that their students use a bag worn on the back.
[10] To aid the back carrying of a bag, rigid frames have been developed which can be carried by an individual on their back. These frames are configured to relieve some of the weight of a backpack that comes to rest on an inclined platform of the frame.
[11] However, these frames are bulky or even unsightly, making their use difficult in a school environment.
[12] In order to reduce the bulk of such techniques, there are belts comprising a platform forming a stop on which the backpack rests.
[13] However, these belts have the disadvantage of not maintaining the bag during the movements of the individual who can thus be unbalanced if the bag slips off the platform.
[14] None of the current systems makes it possible to meet simultaneously all the required needs, namely to provide a technique for assisting the carrying of a back pack type backpack or satchel which is removable and compactable in order to be able to be carried. easily stored, practical to use in a school environment, that is to say without hindering the usual use of such a bag, and which effectively relieves the shoulders of a carrier of such a bag by holding the bag substantially parallel to the wearer's back.
EXPOSÉ DE L’INVENTION STATEMENT OF THE INVENTION
[15] The present invention aims to remedy all or part of the drawbacks of the prior art mentioned above.
[16] To this end, the invention relates to a device for assisting the back carrying of a backpack or satchel-type bag by an individual, said bag comprising a pair of shoulder straps.
[17] It should be noted that during the back carrying of such a bag by the individual, each strap is supported on a separate shoulder of the individual. The bag is then generally oriented along an axis parallel to the back of the individual. This axis is substantially vertical when the individual stands upright. This axis will be called the carrying axis hereinafter.
[18] Generally, the bag is substantially symmetrical with respect to a median plane located between the two straps.
[19] Selon l’invention, le dispositif d’aide au portage dorsal comprend : [19] According to the invention, the back-carrying aid device comprises:
- une sangle de portage dudit sac, ladite sangle étant destinée à enserrer une partie du sac et les hanches dudit individu; et a strap for carrying said bag, said strap being intended to enclose part of the bag and the hips of said individual; and
- A removable retaining means of the carrying strap to said bag.
[20] Thus, the shoulders of the individual carrying the bag are relieved because the weight of the bag is taken up at least in part by the carrying strap which generally encloses the hips of the individual by pressing the bag into the lower back. of the individual.
[21] The carrying strap, which generally runs in the lower part of the bag opposite the lower back when carrying, allows all or part of the load to be diverted from the shoulders to the lumbar and abdominal regions of the wearer. the bag with the carrying aid device.
[22] It should be noted that the carrying aid device is not permanently attached to the bag as it could be the case of a ventral strap of a hiking bag, but in a removable manner in order to be able to be stored when not in use, thus reducing the overall bulk of the bag.
[23] In addition, the carrying aid being removable can be easily installed on another bag.
[24] In addition, the carrying strap surrounding the bag and pressing the bottom of the bag against the lower back, an arching effect is obtained, pressing the bag more firmly against the back than a lap strap does. integrated into said bag.
[26] In particular embodiments of the invention, the means for adjusting the length of one of the parts of the retaining strap is elastic.
[27] In particular embodiments of the invention, the device also comprises a means for stabilizing the inclination of the bag relative to the back of an individual carrying said bag with said device for assisting with back carrying.
[28] Thus, the bag is stabilized in inclination relative to the back of the individual, which allows it to be maintained during movements made by the individual who can walk or run without particular discomfort. In addition, this improved stability helps prevent the individual from being thrown back by tilting the bag away from the back of the individual.
[29] In particular embodiments of the invention, the means for stabilizing the inclination of the bag is a central section of the carrying strap which has a width greater than that of the other sections of the carrying strap.
[30] In particular embodiments of the invention, the means for stabilizing the inclination of the bag is a strap, called a stabilization strap, fixed at each of its ends at points of the carrying strap, called points fixing, the stabilization strap being substantially the same length as the central portion of the carrying strap, said central portion being included between said fixing points.
[31] The stabilization strap allows the carrying strap to be doubled, thus increasing the bag's holding points. The stabilization strap generally clamps the bag in an area higher than the carrying strap which supports the lower part of the bag when the bag is carried naturally by the individual.
[32] In particular embodiments of the invention, the angle between the central portion of the carrying strap and the stabilization strap is between 10 and 60 degrees.
[33] In particular embodiments of the invention, the width of the carrying strap is greater than or equal to the width of the carrying strap. stabilization, the width of the retaining strap being less than the width of the stabilization strap.
[34] In particular embodiments of the invention, the carrying strap comprises means for quick closing and for adjusting the length of the carrying strap.
[35] Advantageously, the carrying strap comprises a closing buckle and two adjustment buckles, located on either side of the closing buckle.
[36] Thus, with two adjustment buckles, it is possible to tighten the carrying strap symmetrically, in particular to avoid destabilizing the position of the device with respect to the bag during a tightening action of the carrying strap around of the individual's hips.
[37] In particular embodiments of the invention, the central portion of the carrying strap forms an angle of between 10 and 60 degrees with the rest of the carrying strap.
[38] In particular embodiments of the invention, the carrying strap is made of high density polypropylene fiber.
[39] In particular embodiments of the invention, the carrying strap comprises at least two so-called lateral pads capable of being pressed onto the hips of the individual carrying the bag.
[40] In particular embodiments of the invention, the retaining strap comprises at least one so-called dorsal pad capable of being pressed onto the lower back of the individual wearing the bag.
[41] The invention also relates to a method of installing a carrying aid device according to any one of the preceding embodiments, on a bag comprising a pair of shoulder straps allowing a dorsal carrying of the bag by an individual. along a so-called carrying axis, each strap being fixed to the bag on either side of the carrying axis.
[42] Un tel procédé d’installation comprend des étapes de : [42] Such an installation process includes steps of:
- fermeture de la sangle de maintien en enserrant une partie du sac avec la partie centrale de la sangle de portage ; - closing of the retaining strap by enclosing part of the bag with the central part of the carrying strap;
- positioning of the bag on the back of the individual by putting on the straps of said bag; - closure of the carrying strap appreciably enclosing the hips of the individual.
[43] Thus, the individual carrying the pack on his back is relieved by the back-carrying aid which shifts part of the weight from his shoulders to the lumbar and abdominal regions.
[44] The retaining strap, when it is closed, forms with a central part of the carrying strap a loop which grips the part of the bag, generally situated opposite a handle allowing the bag to be carried on the hand. hand. This part of the bag corresponds to a lower part of the bag when it is worn along the carrying axis.
[45] Preferably, the carrying strap substantially encloses the hips and abdomen of the individual, a means of closing the carrying strap being located at the level of the abdomen of the individual.
[46] In particular embodiments, the method also comprises, prior to the step of positioning the bag on the back, a step of positioning a means of stabilizing the carrying device in a middle part of the bag.
[47] This middle part is generally located between the upper part of the bag where the handle is fixed and the lower part of the bag which is clamped by the carrying strap.

DESCRIPTION DÉTAILLÉE DE L’INVENTION DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[54] This description is given without limitation, each characteristic of an embodiment can be combined with any other characteristic of any other embodiment in an advantageous manner.
[55] We note, from now on, that the figures are not to scale.
[56] FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a device 100 for assisting with back carrying according to the invention.
[57] The carrying aid device 100 comprises a carrying strap 110, a strap 120 for maintaining the carrying strap 110 to a bag, and a stabilizing strap 130. The three straps 1 10, 120 and 130 are in this non-limiting example of the invention made of high density polypropylene fiber.
[58] The strap 120 comprises two strands 122 each attached to one of their end to the carrying strap 110 at a point 121 located equidistant from a substantially midpoint 140 of the carrying strap 110. In other words, the carrying strap 110 is substantially symmetrical in a median plane. The hooking of the strands 122 to the carrying strap 110 is here carried out by sewing but can be carried out by any other means known to those skilled in the art.
[59] In order to be able to easily install the device 100 for carrying aid on the bag, the retaining strap 120 comprises means for opening and closing the retaining strap 120 which here comprises a closing buckle 125, comprising two complementary elements. The way opening and closing of the retaining strap 120 may also include clips or a clasp.
[60] The stabilization strap 130 is for its part fixed by sewing at each of its ends at points 150 of the carrying strap 110. The 150 points are on either side of the 140 midpoint, equidistant from the 140 midpoint. Generally, the points 121 for fixing the strands 122 of the retaining strap 120 are included between the points 150 for fixing the stabilization strap 130 to the carrying strap 1 and the midpoint 140. However, the points 121 and 150 can be advantageously combined in order to reduce the number of seams made.
[61] In variants of this particular embodiment of the invention, the points 150 are between the points 121 and the midpoint 140 to reduce the proportion of the straps in contact with the individual when carrying the bag on the back.
[62] Figure 2 is a perspective view of the bag 200 on which is installed the device 100 for assisting with carrying. The bag 200 is in the present non-limiting example of the invention a backpack conventionally used by pupils from ten or eleven years old. The bag 200 includes a large pocket 201 in which students generally insert the books and notebooks that they have to carry between their school and their homes. The bag 200 also includes a small pocket 202 opposite the back 203 of the bag 200 for carrying small items, such as keys or pencils.
[63] In order to be carried on the back of an individual and in particular that of a student, the bag 200 comprises a pair of shoulder straps 210. Each strap 210 is fixed to the bag 200 substantially symmetrically with respect to a corresponding median plane substantially to a plane of symmetry of the bag 200. A handle 21 1 enabling the bag 200 to be carried by hand is generally sewn into the upper part of the bag 200, substantially in the center and in the median plane. Each strap 210 sewn on either side of the handle 21 1 comes to rest on a separate shoulder of the individual when the latter carries the bag 200 on his back. The bag 200 is thus oriented along a carrying axis 270 which is substantially vertical at the time of carrying. It should be emphasized that the carrying axis 270 is substantially coincident with said plane of symmetry of the bag 200.
[64] When installing the device 100 for carrying aid on the bag 200, the carrying strap 110 runs in the lower part of the bag 200 along the carrying axis 270 near the bottom 205 of the bag 200 near the small pocket 202. The stabilization strap 130 for its part runs in the middle part of the bag, near an opening 203 of the small pocket 202, thus leaving free access to the small pocket 202.
[65] In order to keep the device 100 for carrying the bag 200 in position, the retaining strap 120 is advantageously inserted inside the opening 215 delimited by each strap 210 and then closed using the buckle 125 closing. The straps 210 are thus free to move.
[66] The retaining strap 120 is advantageously elastic in this non-limiting example of the invention. The retaining strap 120, once closed, thus forms with the middle part of the carrying strap 110 a loop whose circumference is smaller than the circumference of the bag 200. The elasticity of the strap 120 thus makes it possible to provide a degree of freedom in length to the strap 120 while conferring a restoring force pressing against the retaining strap 120 and the middle part of the strap 110 for carrying the bag 200.
[67] In variants of this particular embodiment of the invention, the retaining strap 120 includes a length adjustment buckle in addition to the elasticity of the retaining strap 120. Such a length adjustment buckle can also allow a non-elastic retaining strap 120 to be tightened in order to press the retaining strap 120 against the bag 200.
[68] Thus, whether the retaining strap 120 is elastic and / or provided with a length adjustment buckle, the device 100 adapts to different type of backpack. Generally, the device 100 can be used on backpacks with a perimeter between forty and two hundred centimeters.
[69] When the carrying aid device 100 is installed on the bag 200, the bag 200 can be worn by the individual who puts each of his arms into an opening 215 of a separate strap 210. [70] When the bag 200 is positioned on the back of the individual with each strap 210 resting on a shoulder separate from the individual, the carrying strap 110 can be adjusted to the individual's hip circumference by means of a length adjustment buckle 250 installed on the carrying strap 1 10. The individual can then close the carrying strap 1 10 by means of two complementary pieces 260 of a closing loop of the carrying strap 1 10, located substantially at the level of the abdomen of the individual.
[71] The individual can then benefit from the carrying aid of the device 100 which shifts part of the weight of the bag from the shoulders to the lumbar and abdominal regions of the individual, and in particular to the individual's pelvis. The individual's shoulders are thus relieved.
[72] In variants of this particular embodiment, illustrated in Figure 3, the carrying strap 1 10 comprises two length adjustment loops 250 each located near a complementary part 260 separate from the closure buckle. Thus, the user can adjust the length of the carrying strap 110 symmetrically without risking destabilizing the relative position of the carrying aid device 100 with respect to the bag 200.
[73] It should be noted that the straps 210 of the bag 200 generally include a buckle 216 for adjusting the length. The individual carrying the bag 200 on his back on which the carrying aid device 100 is installed can adjust the amount of load deflected from the shoulders to the lumbar and abdominal regions by tightening the shoulder straps 215 more or less by means of the length adjustment buckles 216. It is thus possible to make the entire load of the bag 200 rest on the lumbar and abdominal regions by loosening the length adjustment loops 216, which induces an increase in the length of each strap 215. Conversely, when the adjustment loops 216 in length are tight, equivalent to reducing the length of each strap 215, the load carried by the shoulders of the individual increases.
[74] Furthermore, the stabilization strap 130 makes it possible to keep the bag substantially parallel to the back of the individual, preventing the bag 200 from tilting back when the individual makes movements. The individual can thus walk or run without risk while carrying the bag 200 with the device 100 for assisting with back carrying.
[75] The stabilization strap 130 can be advantageously adjustable in length, for example using a tightening loop, located for example at the junction between the stabilization strap 130 and the carrying strap 110. In this way, the stabilization strap 130 can be adapted to different backpacks, having various shapes and therefore requiring adaptability of the stabilization strap 130.
[76] It should be noted that the stitching points 150 of the carrying strap 1 10 are in the present non-limiting example of the invention away from the points 121 thus improving the stabilization of the bag by reducing the angle 280 formed between the strap 110 and strap 130. The angle 280 is here of the order of 20 °.
[77] It should be noted that when the carrying aid device 100 is removed from the bag 200, the carrying aid device 100 is compactable in a pocket whose dimensions are of the order of 10 x 6 cm. The carrying aid device 100 can then be easily stored in the small pocket 202 of the bag 200.
[78] The device 100 for carrying aid can also be hooked to the handle 21 1 of the bag 200 by passing for example a part of the carrying strap 1 10, previously opened, inside an opening 212 delimited by the handle 211 which here formed by a strap, then by closing the carrying strap 1 10 via the complementary parts 260.
[79] Optionally, the carrying strap 110 may include side pads 310, shown in FIG. 4, which are positioned at the level of the hips in order to contribute to the comfort of carrying the bag 200.
[80] In variants, such pads can also be held at the back of the individual by the retaining strap 120. It should be noted that when a pad is installed on the support strap 120, this pad, of the dorsal or lumbar type, can rest on the coccyx, thus helping to help carry the bag 200.
[81] Thus, optionally, the retaining strap 120 comprises at least one dorsal or lumbar pad 320, shown in FIG. 4, coming to be positioned on the lumbar and more widely the lower back of the individual. carrying the bag, in order to absorb the impact of the bag against the back, as well as to prevent the bag from rubbing against the back.
[82] Such a dorsal or lumbar pad 320 is preferably inflatable, so as to limit the bulk when the lumbar pad is not in use. In an inflated state, the lumbar pad 320 has a thickness of between 2 to 4 centimeters, corresponding to the distance between the bag and the back of the individual wearing the bag in this inflated state.
[83] Thus, the lumbar pad 320 also allows better air circulation compared to a support strap 120 without a lumbar pad.
[84] In order to improve air circulation between the bag and the back of the person wearing the bag, the lumbar pad 320 may be structured. Such a structure is for example in a succession of reliefs or crenellations.
[85] It is expected that the lumbar pad 320 can be secured to the retaining strap 120 either permanently or removably, for example by being slipped over the retaining strap 120 using loops.
Autre exemple de mode de réalisation Another example of an embodiment
[86] FIG. 5 is a schematic view of a device 400 for assisting with back carrying according to the invention.
[87] In the present non-limiting example of the invention, the device 400 for assisting with dorsal carrying comprises a carrying strap 410 intended to grip part of a bag comprising a pair of shoulder straps (not shown in FIG. 5), and a strap 420 for maintaining the strap 410 for carrying the bag.
[88] The carrying strap 410 here advantageously comprises a central section 430 making it possible to stabilize the bag during the dorsal carrying. The central section 430 has a greater width than the rest of the carrying strap 410.
[89] In variants of this particular embodiment of the invention, the width of the carrying strap 410 is constant all along the strap, thus reducing the stabilization of the carried bag. [90] The strap 410 also comprises means 450 for opening and closing so as to be able to grip the strap 410 around the waist or hips of an individual.
[91] The holding strap 420 comprises two strands 422 each comprising at one of their end complementary parts 425 allowing rapid opening and closing of the strap 420, and a length adjustment buckle 426 in order to adjust the size of the strap. the strap 420 to the dimensions of the bag.
[92] When the carrying aid device 400 is installed on the bag itself carried by an individual, the carrying of the bag is stabilized thanks to the central section 430 of the carrying strap 410 which is wider than the rest. of the strap 410.
