Technical Field
The invention is related to a wall covering material that can be used in ovens, cold rooms, water and solar energy tanks in buildings such as houses, dormitories, schools, hospitals, factories, office, hotel and so on, which can be applied by coating, plastering, bonding, suppression and pressing methods and provides sound and heat insulation.
Prior Art
The semi-fluid mortar, which is created by mixing sand, lime, cement or soil and used for flattening the surfaces in any building, is called plaster. Plaster is also a mortar-based continuous coating material applied to interior and exterior wall surfaces and ceilings with a certain thickness in the buildings. In addition to covering the surfaces of the structural elements to which they are applied and making them look even, plasters also have functions such as thermal insulation and sound absorption, protecting the parts of the structure from precipitation and thereby protecting the entire structure from the atmospheric conditions. The plasters used in the prior art do not have a visually beautiful appearance.
They cannot be used decoratively. In addition to these plasters, there are also colored plasters for visually decorative purposes. Said decorative plasters are not resistant to high temperatures. In addition, there are problems such as flaming, inadequate sound insulation, short life spans due to their flaking in the usage areas, being made of hazardous waste materials and chemical materials, being conductive, irritating hands during application and releasing poisonous gas. The national patent document with the number TR2015 / 04626 available in the prior art refers to a boron mixed interior plaster wall covering for decorative purposes. Said wall covering relates to moisture and fire resistant interior plaster with boron content, which can be applied on brick or plaster for decorative purposes. The product mentioned in such document contains chemicals. It is not ecological and natural.

The coating material is produced by mixing at least one of vermiculite, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, cotton, mica, rock salt, straw, rice husk, oat, cannabis stalk, sepiolite, paper powder, carbonate, zeoite and boron in certain ratios. Instead of vermiculite used in the invention, derivatives of various volcanic mines and minarels can also be used. Textile cotton wastes can be used instead of cotton.
Each material used in the invention and its effect on the invention is as follows:
Vermiculite
Vermiculite increases the thermal insulation, sound insulation and fireproofing of the mixture. It also increases the pH value of the mixture. In this way, antibacterial properties are added to the mixture. In addition, vermiculite gives the mixture a natural appearance. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, vermiculite expanded (semi-expanded) at 500-700 ° C is used Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose
Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose improves the binding properties of the mixture under the invention. Furthermore, it increases the lubricity property of the mixture and provides ease of application on the related wall.
Cotton
Cotton increases the bonding, sound and heat insulation of the mixture. It also increases the fill of the mixture and brings a color combination to said mixture. In alternative embodiments of the invention, textile wastes in powder and granule or any other form can also be used instead of cotton.
Mica
Mica improves the sound insulation and fire resistance of the mixture. Besides, it gives the mixture a different visuality. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the muscovite-type mica mineral is used. Mica is a natural mineral.
Salt
Rock salt increases the pH level of the mixture and gives antibacterial properties. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, rock salt is used.
Straw, rice husk and oat
Straw, rice husk and oat give a natural appearance to the mixture subject to the invention. The straw, rice husk and oat used in the mixture subject to the invention are not used directly, but processed and used in 1-3 mm granule form.
Sepiolite Sepiolite gives the mixture subject to the invention the ability to absorb foul odors. Said sepiolite is used in the mixture as powder and granules form in 1-3 mm in size. Sepiolite is a clay mineral belonging to phyllosilicate group.
Paper Powder
The paper powder provides filler to the mixture and increases the stickiness of said mixture. Moreover, it provides a different color combination to the mixture.
Boron
Boron increases the degree of non-flammability of the mixture. Furthermore, it provides the mixture with fluidity for filling and easy application to the respective wall.
Zeolite
Zeolite provides heat insulation and non-flammability.
The invention is obtained by mixing one or more of vermiculite, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, cotton, mica, rock salt, straw, rice husk, oat, cannabis stalk, sepiolite, paper powder, carbonate, zeoite, boron and water. 8 different formulas were obtained by mixing different substances in different ratios. Details of said formulas are as follows.
Formula- 1
The proportions of the materials used in the mixture by weight are as follows;
42,4% vermiculite as 63,6 mm in size,
12-18% vermiculite as 1-2 mm in size,
21 - 32,4% Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose 4-6% rock salt.
The vermiculite used in the mixture constituting about 53% of the mixture is 4-6 mm and the other vermiculite constituting about 15% is 1-2 mm in size. Rock salt is in powder form.
After determining the proportions of the substances to be used in the mixture following process steps are followed;
Expansion of vermiculites at a temperature of 500-700 ° C,
Crushing expanded vermiculites of 1-3 mm in size in granular crushing machine
Passing the crushed 1-3 mm vermiculites through a 6 mm sieve and separating from dust,
Separation of 1-2 mm vermiculites and 4-6 vermiculites by using a special sieve,
Inserting 4-6 mm vermiculites, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, 1-2 mm vermiculites and rock salt in a 32-34 cycle spiral mixer respectively, Mixing in the right direction for 60 minutes and left direction for 60 minutes, Following the mixing, homogenization under the temperature of 30-40°C. Once the mixture is prepared, a certain amount is taken from the mixture prepared and it is mixed with water and applied with a transparent trowel to test the consistency of the mixture.
Note: The raw vermiculites expand everywhere at 800-1200 ° C. It is not economic for the producers to expand at a lower level. Consumers are the agricultural and construction sectors. In the construction, insulation is performed by mixing cement with plaster. We tested that vermiculite expanding at this level is not suitable for us.
