Title: Desktop adhesive tape dispenser
A desktop dispenser includes a stationary base including a bottom member defining a bottom open chamber, a vacuum mount including a suction disc positioned in the bottom open chamber and an actuation rod extended from the top wall of the suction disc, and a carrier coupled to the stationary base and bias-able between a first position and a second position.
When the carrier is in the first position, the actuation rod of the vacuum mount is in an initial position; when the carrier is in the second position, the driving member lifts the actuation rod of the vacuum mount to an acting position. Thus, the desktop tape dispenser can be adhered to the top of a desk.
The claimed invention's function system is completely different from this and this system does not have the advantages of the claimed invention.
Solution and description of invention
This invention is much more comfortable and efficient than the previous ones. A lever is embedded in this desktop dispenser. When the user pushes the lever down, the system operates and unwinds the adhesive from the loop, and when the lever reaches its lowest level, the cutting process occurs.
While designing this desktop dispenser, it is not necessary to be heavy, because the system automatically unwinds and cuts the tape. Also, since the cutting blade is embedded inside the dispenser, it will not be dangerous.
On the other hand, due to the cutting blade design, its design (service) life is longer than the previous models. This device works in two automatic and customized cutting manners.
Automatic cutting: Push the lever down by finger. Finally, after cutting, before lever returns to the prior situation, one should touches the sticky side and removes it and then the lever is let to return up.
Customized cutting: Push the lever down by finger. Finally, after cutting, before lever returns to the prior situation, one should touches the sticky side and after returning lever, the tape is removed in desired manner and tape is cut easily by a blade embedded in the exit.
Brief Description of the Drawings

Fig 2: A view of the desktop dispenser in which the lever is in middle of the path.
Fig 3: A view of the desktop dispenser in which the lever moves down.
Fig 4: A view of the desktop dispenser in which the lever returns up.
Detailed Description of the Drawings
The claimed invention consists of several components and pieces which according to figure 1 , are described as follows:
1. The base of the desktop dispenser on which other components are mounted and shapes the mechanism.
1.1 Rivet connecting pieces of 1 and 7.
2. The lever is a moving part of the device and serves as the main connector between fixed and moving parts. The lever is connected to 1 and 3 parts through a pin, and hand first forces it and then this force moves to other parts.
In the automatic cutting, the blade is connected to the lever part and by moving it causes the tape to be cut.
2.1 The sliding parts on which blade 2.2 is mounted and is characterized with arms on both sides. In the customized cutting position, part 6 prevents its movement with part 2. This part can be returned to the previous status by spring 2.3.
2.2. One of the two blades used in the claimed invention. This blade is mounted on sliding part 2.1 , and while cutting, it is placed inside the slot in sliding part 1 , acting as a scissor.
2.3 The spring is embedded between sliding part 2.1 and a process in part 2 and, if necessary, it returns sliding part to its original position.
2.4 Handle by which the user pushes down lever. This part is attached to part 2.
2.5 Torsion spring on pin 2.6 makes lever and whole device return to the previous state.
2.6 Pin to connect parts 1 and 2.
2.7 pin to connect parts 2 and 3.
3- A part is between 2 and 4 which prevents locking device (desktop dispenser) operation.
4-This movable part is responsible for unwinding adhesive tape. The proportion between the size and the angles of this part is very important, which regulates the distance of the rubber from the sticky side of the tape when it returns and forces necessary to move the lever, among others.
If this proportion is not adjusted correctly, the rubber and adhesive tape will be locked or stiffed due to the high perpendicular force exerted on the tape surface (part 1) or vice versa due to the strong propulsion, the adhesive may protrude outside the rubber on the sticky surface.
In each part, a wheel is embedded which is required to reciprocating motion. The lower wheel is engaged in two reciprocating motions. When lever goes down, it rotates on the upper surface and acts as movable support of part 4 while exerting rubber force.
When lever goes up, it rotates on the lower surface and returns by the upper wheel. In former, upper wheel get far away from this part and is placed in lower part in the latter. This makes rubber 4.1 get away from tape sliding part to a given extent.
4.1 This rubber piece is attached to adhesive tape so that it pulls and unwinds the tape. It can also have bumps that are reflected on the tape.
4.2 Pin that attaches part 4 to wheel.
4.3 Wheels embedded in parts 4.4 and 4.2.
4.4 Pin or hinge that connects together part 3 and 4 and two upper wheels of part 4.
5. The body that holds the mechanical components in which adhesive tape is embedded and gives the claimed invention an appearance. The body can be connected to chassis 7 by joggle point, pins or screws.
5.1 The cap or lid attached to part 5 when tape goes up.
5.2 The hinged cylinder in which the tape is inserted and mounted on the device.
5.3 One of the two blades located on the outlet and by which customized cutting is performed.
6. This part sets up devices in two automatic and customized cutting mode. In latter mode, it fixes sliding part 2.1 on which blade is mounted and automatic cutting is prevented.
6.1 The customized cutting lever to change the automatic and customized cutting modes that are attached to part 6.
7. The main chassis which acts as the base of parts 1 and 5.
8. Adhesive tape loop
Description of device function in figure 2.
The lever (2) has a handle that the user can press it down to activate the system. In the lower part, the lever is connected by a loop to the body of the chassis (1), but it is possible to move up and down. At the same place, the torsion spring (2.5) is mounted, which returns the lever to its previous status when the lever is pushed down by the user and then the hand is lifted off the lever.
When the lever is pressed down, the rubber part (4.1) which is present in tape unwinding part, attaches to the adhesive tape sticky side. So, adhesive tape is embedded in the dispenser in a manner that its sticky side is exposed when it is unwind, placed in the horizontal part of the dispenser and finally when it is pulled from the dispenser. The tape unwinding part (4.3) has some wheels that move in a special space.
When the lever is lowered or pressed down, these wheels move on its upper surface on the existing track in chassis. As the lever rises, the wheels move on the lower parts. The more user pushes the lever downwards, rubber parts unwinds tape around the tube (Fig. 2). Also, instead of a wheel, sliding slot along the path in chassis can be used.
When the lever reaches its lowest level (Fig. 3), the blade will cut off the tape somewhere before the rubber. At this time, the user can sticks his/her finger to tape protruded from the device and remove it. Then as lever goes up automatically by torsion spring, first rubber parts gets away from tape and then returns to its previous place (Fig 4).
The user can also set the device to the customized cutting mode by changing customized cutting lever (6.1). In this mode, the blade does not cut. The user pulls adhesive tape when it sticks to finger.
At this time the lever rises and the rubber is removed from the adhesive and goes back. In order to cut the adhesive tape, the user pulls the adhesive tape and second blade (5.3) embedded in the outlet of the device cuts it.
It should also be noted that the wheel is also responsible for adjusting the distance of the rubber from the tape, and another wheel acts as the support for pulling parts of the tape.
Advantages of the invention
• It is more easily used than previous desktop tape dispenses
• It can be used in a fast manner
• High precision in cutting parts
• It is energy-efficient
• No need for maintenance and repair
Application of the invention
The claimed invention is applied in offices and homes, and wherever there is a need for adhesive tapes.
A method for applying the invention
In normal mode, lift the adhesive tape after opening the adhesive cap and put the tape head under the rubber. Then put the cap back on and put the lever down until the fingertip touches to adhesive tape. In this case, we use tape and let lever to get up. In case of cutting adhesive tape in customized manner, press the lever, then adhesive tape protrudes and the second blades cut it.
