DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, the inventive storage shelf is described by means of examples only for clarifying the subject manner such that no limiting effect is created.
In Figure 1 , an illustrative isometric view of an embodiment of the invention is shown. The structure comprises four verticals load-bearing columns (10) which are aligned to form a rectangle. Preferably load bearing columns (10) are made of metal.
Support profiles (12) are located between said load-bearing columns (10) which engage two load-bearing columns (10) transversely. The support profiles (12) are positioned transversely between two load-bearing columns (10). The support profiles (12) are preferred in order to increase the durability of the storage shelf (1 ).
In order to provide the connection of the horizontal load-bearings (20) on the column outer surfaces (1 1 ) of the vertical columns (10) by means of a fastener, there may be appropriate openings to said fastener. Said openings are provided such that they are arranged in a row on the vertical axis. Accordingly, the distance of the floor intervals can be changed by means of changing the location of the horizontal load bearings (20).
Said horizontal load bearings (20), as can be seen in Figure 1 , extend between two load bearing columns (10).
Referring to Figure 1 .A-1 .C; the horizontal load bearing (20) is provided in an integral manner. Preferably the horizontal load bearing (20) is obtained by means of bending a rectangular sheet. Said integral form provides obtaining a more durable structure in addition to easy assembly and disassembly of the horizontal load bearing (20).
A bend provided on the end portion of the load bearing surface (21 ) forms a support extension (22) by reaching to the storage shelf (1 ) again forming a certain angle. Said support extension (22) can be provided as a planar surface as seen in Figure 1 . By said support extension (22) or a fastener which will be passed through an opening provided on a plane extending in a perpendicular manner from the end of the support extension (22), preferably by means of a screw (24), the horizontal load bearing (20) can be engaged with the load bearing column (10).
Referring to the Figure 2-2.A; the horizontal load bearing (20) comprises a load-bearing surface (21 ) which extends outwardly from the storage shelf (1 ). The load-bearing surface (21 ) is preferably a plane which is provided parallel to the floor where the storage shelf (1 ) is positioned. Flowever, in case the portion to be placed on the shelf (50) has a certain amount of inclination and form, then it can be provided according to the relevant inclination or form. The shelf (50) can be provided as a wire structure. In addition to this, in order to carry the shelf (50), the load support profiles (40) can be positioned on the opposite sides (on the edges where the horizontal load bearings (20) are not present).
Referring to Figure 2; the horizontal load bearings (20) which are provided mutually between the load bearing columns (10) are positioned on the load bearing surface (21 ) on the end portion of the shelf (50) or on the portion close to the end portion. Therefore, one floor of the storage shelf (1 ) is formed.
The invention is mainly a storage shelf (1 ), comprising;
four verticals load bearing columns (10) which are aligned to form a rectangle; at least two horizontal load bearings (20) which are provided at equal height horizontally and mutually to each other between the consecutive load bearing columns (10) and connects the load bearing columns (10) to each other by extending from one load bearing column (10) to another and said horizontal load bearings (20) comprising the following which are provided in an integrated manner with each other,
load-bearing surface (21 ) whose one side is between two vertical columns (10) and one side extends outwardly from the storage shelf (1 ) and
and a support extension (22) extending from the edge of said load-bearing surface (21 ) extending outwardly from the storage shelf (1 ) to the load-bearing column (10) so as to provide a smaller angle than the right angle between the load-bearing extension (21 ).
Referring to Figure 2.B; the horizontal load-bearing (20) comprises a fixing extension (23) which enables to fix the shelf (50) by means of fitting into a channel (51 1 ) formed on the shelf (50) by extending from the load-bearing surface (21 ). The shelf (50) structure comprises a shelf extension (51 ) which is preferably formed by a bend or a discharge. Said shelf extension (51 ) forms the channel (51 1 ). Accordingly, a fixing extension (23) is positioned in the relevant channel (51 1 ). The fixing extension (23) is preferred as a surface which extends vertically. In order to use said fixing extension (23), the shelf (50) comprises a channel (51 1 ) structure. When the shelf (50) is positioned on the horizontal load-bearings (20), said fixing extension (23) and the channel (51 1 ) are provided on the top of each other. The fixing extension (23) which fits into the channel (51 1 ) prevents sliding over the horizontal load- bearings (20) by limiting the movement of the shelf (50).
The load-bearing surface (21 ), support extension (22) and fixing extension (23) are provided in an integrated manner. An integrated structure can be obtained by subjecting a plate to bending process. In Figure 2.A, the structure can be seen clearly. The end portion of the plate is bended in a manner such that it is parallel to the vertical axis and the fixing extension (23) is formed. The other end of the plate is bended in an inclined manner and thus the support extension (22) is formed and accordingly a load-bearing surface (21 ) is provided between the support extension (22) and the fixing extension (23).
Referring to Figure 1 .A; the fixing extension (23) can contain an opening on it and it can be engaged with the vertical load bearing column (10) by means of a screw (24) which is passed through this opening.
As it can be seen in Figure 3 and 4, the above described storage shelf (1 ) can be used for forming a storage shelf system (100).
In a configuration shown in Figure 3, there are two storage shelves (1 ) which are positioned side by side. Here, the number of the storage shelf (1 ) can be increased by three, four or more according to the requirement.
Above described horizontal load bearings (20) are positioned mutually at the edges of the storage shelves (1 ) facing each other. Accordingly, a walking trail (60) is positioned on the load bearing surfaces (21 ) of the mutually horizontal load bearings (20) of each storage shelf (1 ). The walking trail (60) allows the user to easily walk between the storage shelves (1 ).
The storage shelf (1 ) has preferably a wire structure.
The invention is mainly a storage shelf system (100), comprising;
at least two storage shelves (1 ) positioned side by side according to only one of the claims 1 - 7; a walking trail (60) which is provided on the sides of at least two of the storage shelves (1 ) which are facing each other such that its edges are placed on the load-bearing surfaces (21 ) of the horizontal load-bearings (20).
Referring to Figure 3 and 3.A; in order to carry some of the shelf (50) load, it comprises load support profiles (40) which are provided mutual and parallel manner to each other between said vertical load-bearing columns (10) and at least one load profile (30) which extends from one of said load support profiles (40) to another. The load support profiles (40) and the load profiles (30) mentioned in the state of the art are provided by means of welding them to each other. As it can be seen in Figure 1 -1 C, in an embodiment, a housing (41 ) is formed on said load support profiles (40). Said housing (41 ) can be obtained by body discharging process. The end portion of the load profile (30) is fitted in the housing (41 ) and required structure can be obtained. Preferably the load profile (30) is engaged with the relevant housing (41 ) in a fitted manner.
Referring to Figure 3.A and 3.B; for said fitting process, a discharge (31 1 ) is enabled slightly behind the end portion of the load profile (30). A thread (31 ) is formed by means of providing said discharge (31 1 ). Said thread (31 ) is fitted into abovementioned housing (41 ). Said threads (31 ) prevent the load profile (30) to separate from the load support profile (40) easily.
As can be seen in Figure 3, an embodiment of the inventive storage shelf system (100) can comprise one shelf (50) for each in the inner area of two storage shelves (1 ). As an alternative to this, the storage shelf system (100) can be obtained such that as in Figure 4, one of the storage shelves (1 ) may comprise a ladder (70). The ladder (70) can also be connected to the region of the shelf (50).
The protection scope of the invention is specified in the claims and cannot be limited to the description made for illustrative purposes in this detailed description. Likewise, it is clear that a person skilled in the art can present similar embodiments in the light of the above descriptions without departing from the main theme of the invention.
