- the topology information is information showing information on all the devices connected to the relay device 20 and the route connecting the devices. From the topology information, it is possible to acquire information such as what kind of equipment is connected to the relay device 20 and what kind of route each equipment is connected to.
- the congestion determination unit 422 calculates and aggregates the resources used in each of the uplink communication and downlink communication routes of each LPWA terminal 10 from the acquired topology information (step S302).
- the resources are wireless channels and relays.
- the congestion determination unit 422 determines whether or not the utilization rate of each resource is equal to or higher than a certain standard (step S303). When the utilization rate of each resource is equal to or higher than a certain standard (step S303-YES), the congestion determination unit 422 determines that congestion has occurred (step S304). On the other hand, when the utilization rate of some or all of the resources is less than a certain standard (step S303-NO), the congestion determination unit 422 determines that no congestion has occurred (step S305). As described above, in FIG. 9, the resource utilization rate is calculated based on the traffic volume of the LPWA terminal 10.
- FIG. 10 is a flowchart showing a flow of communication quality estimation processing performed by the monitoring device 40 in the embodiment.
- the communication quality estimation unit 423 acquires the set value of the assumed frequency of uplink communication, the call loss rate of the service level, the reference value of the radio field strength, and the assumed frequency of the radio wave intensity exceeding the standard value of the radio wave strength (step S401).
- the call loss rate represents the probability that a state in which a call cannot be received occurs due to insufficient capacity of the communication line.
- the call loss rate is calculated based on the ratio between the assumed frequency of uplink communication and the frequency derived from the data communication record.
- the communication quality estimation unit 423 determines whether or not the call loss rate is equal to or less than the call loss rate of the service level (step S402). Specifically, first, the communication quality estimation unit 423 divides the frequency of uplink communication derived from the data communication record by the assumed frequency of uplink communication. Next, the communication quality estimation unit 423 calculates the call loss rate by subtracting the division result from 1. Then, the communication quality estimation unit 423 determines whether the calculated call loss rate is equal to or less than the service level call loss rate. When the call loss rate is equal to or lower than the service level call loss rate (step S402-YES), the communication quality estimation unit 423 determines the number X1 of the uplink communication radio field strengths acquired from the communication record, which exceeds the service level radio field strength reference value. Calculate (step S403).
- the communication quality estimation unit 423 calculates the division result X2 by dividing the calculated number X1 by the set value of the assumed frequency of uplink communication (step S404). The communication quality estimation unit 423 determines whether or not the calculated division result X2 is equal to or higher than the assumed frequency of radio field strength exceeding the service level reference value (step S405). When the division result X2 is equal to or higher than the assumed frequency of the radio field intensity exceeding the service level reference value (step S405-YES), the communication quality estimation unit 423 determines that the service level is satisfied (step S406). Satisfying the service level means that the communication quality is good.
- step S402-NO when the call loss rate is larger than the call loss rate of the service level (step S402-NO), or when the division result X2 is less than the expected frequency of radio wave strength exceeding the service level reference value (step S405-NO), the communication quality.
- the estimation unit 423 determines that the service level is not satisfied (step S407). Failure to meet the service level indicates poor communication quality.
- FIGS. 11 and 12 are flowcharts showing a flow of failure determination processing performed by the monitoring device 40 in the embodiment.
- the processes of FIGS. 11 and 12 are executed when there is no communication record in any of the LPWA terminals 10 within a predetermined time.
- the failure determination unit 424 confirms the response to the relay device 20 that has the last communication record in the LPWA terminal 10 that has no communication record within the predetermined time (step S501).
- the failure determination unit 424 determines whether or not there is a response from the relay device 20 (step S502).
- step S502-YES the failure determination unit 424 determines whether or not the wireless IF of the relay device 20 that has transmitted the response is in a normal operating state (step S503).
- step S503-YES If it is in a normal operating state (step S503-YES), does the failure determination unit 424 have a communication record on any LPWA terminal 10 on any channel during a predetermined time (step S504)? There is a communication record in any LPWA terminal 10 in any channel (step S504-YES), the failure determination unit 424 refers to the station information database 432, and all LPWA terminals 10 and all relay devices 20 Acquire placement information (step S505). The failure determination unit 424 determines whether or not there is an LPWA terminal 10 other than the LPWA terminal 10 in which the last communication record is the relay device 20 that transmitted the response and there is no communication record within a predetermined time. Determine (step S506).
- Step S506-NO When either or both of the conditions that the last communication record is that there is no relay device 20 that transmitted the response and the LPWA terminal 10 that has no communication record within a predetermined time is other than the LPWA terminal 10 are satisfied ( Step S506-NO), the failure determination unit 424 determines that the failure is unique to the terminal (step S507). After that, the monitoring device 40 ends the failure determination process. On the other hand, when the last communication record is the relay device 20 that transmitted the response and there is an LPWA terminal 10 other than the LPWA terminal 10 that does not have a communication record within a predetermined time (step S506-YES). The failure determination unit 424 determines whether or not there are a plurality of LPWA terminals 10 having no communication record at a geographically close distance (step S508).
- the failure determination unit 424 states that when the geographical distance between LPWA terminals 10 without communication records is less than a predetermined distance, there are a plurality of LPWA terminals 10 without communication records at a geographically close distance. judge. On the other hand, when the geographical distance between LPWA terminals 10 without communication records is equal to or greater than a predetermined distance, the failure determination unit 424 must have a plurality of LPWA terminals 10 without communication records at a geographically close distance. judge. When there are not a plurality of LPWA terminals 10 having no communication record at a geographically close distance (step S508-NO), the failure determination unit 424 determines that the failure is peculiar to the terminal (step S507). After that, the monitoring device 40 ends the failure determination process.
- the failure determination unit 424 determines that there is a possibility of a communication failure due to the installation environment of the LPWA terminal 10. (Step S509). After that, the monitoring device 40 ends the failure determination process. Further, in the process of step S504, when there is no communication record in any LPWA terminal 10 in any channel (step S504-NO), that is, when there is no communication record in any LPWA terminal 10 in any channel.
- the congestion determination unit 422 performs congestion determination processing of the relay device 20 that has transmitted the response (step S510).
- the failure determination unit 424 determines whether or not congestion is occurring due to another system as a result of the congestion determination process (step S511). When it is determined that congestion due to another system has occurred (step S511-YES), the failure determination unit 424 determines that the communication failure is due to a deterioration in communication quality due to interference from another system or the like (step S512). After that, the monitoring device 40 ends the failure determination process. On the other hand, when it is not determined that congestion due to another system has occurred (step S511-NO), the failure determination unit 424 determines that the radio IF of the relay device 20 that transmitted the response is called a siren (step S511-NO). S513). After that, the monitoring device 40 ends the failure determination process.
- step S503 if the operating state is not normal (step S503-NO), the failure determination unit 424 determines whether or not it is possible to communicate with the test terminal attached to the installation location of the relay device that responded. Determine (step S514). When it is possible to communicate with the test terminal attached to the installation location of the relay device that has responded (step S514-YES), the failure determination unit 424 executes the processes after step S504. On the other hand, when it is not possible to communicate with the test terminal attached to the installation location of the relay device that responded (step S514-NO), the failure determination unit 424 determines that the wireless IF of the relay device that responded has failed (step S515). .. After that, the monitoring device 40 ends the failure determination process.
- step S502 when there is no response from the relay device 20 (step S502-NO), the failure determination unit 424 confirms the response to the relay device 20 on the uplink communication path from the relay device that has no response. (Step S516).
- the failure determination unit 424 determines whether or not there is a response from the relay device 20 (step S517).
- step S517-YES When there is a response from the relay device 20 (step S517-YES), the failure determination unit 424 determines that the relay device 20 or the wired IF or link of the relay device 20 has failed (step S518). After that, the monitoring device 40 ends the failure determination process.
- step S517-NO the failure determination unit 424 determines that the relay device 20 on the route has failed (step S519). After that, the monitoring device 40 ends the failure determination process.
- FIG. 13 is a flowchart showing the flow of the relay device setting control process performed by the monitoring device 40 in the embodiment.

Description
従来、通信インフラの監視にはSNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol)が利用されている(非特許文献1参照)。
"A Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)"、Network Working Group、[平成31年3月15日検索]、インターネット<URL: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1157>
ところで、一般的には、IoT向け無線通信技術としてLPWA(Low Power Wide Area)が利用されている。
