FIGURE 6 illustrates a schematic view of the story ranking platform.
In the story ranking platform of this invention, the platform enables users to see ranking of all stories played vis-a-vis competition and the overall genre. This can be analyzed in terms of Share of Viewership (SOV), Share of Duration (SOD) and Yield (SOV/SOD). This module helps user to understand return on investment (ROI) for every story.
The story ranking platform breaks down every story into pre-defined discrete segments and the ETL is configured to map viewership against these pre-defined discrete segments.
In at least an embodiment, there is provided a first insight determinator (ID1) configured to determine and correlate each first split video file (constituent split file), of a first channel, in correlation with at least a time statistic associated with each split video file and in correlation with a corresponding second split video file, of a second channel, in order to provide a first insight marker (SOD). This forms first set of data.
In at least an embodiment, there is provided a second insight determinator (ID2) configured to determine and correlate each first split video file (constituent split file), of a first channel, in correlation with at least a viewership statistic associated with each first split video file and in correlation with a corresponding second split video file, of a second channel, in order to provide a second insight marker (SOV). This forms second set of data.
In at least an embodiment, there is provided a third insight determinator (ID3) configured to determine and correlate each first split video file (constituent split file), of a first channel in correlation with at least a tag associated with each first split video file and in correlation with a corresponding second split video file, of a second channel, in order to provide a third insight marker. This forms third set of data.
SOD (Share of Duration) = (Sum of Duration of the particular story of the channel/
Sum of Duration of all stories of that channel)* 100
SOV (Share of Viewership) = (Sum of Normalized Impresions of the particular story of the channel / Sum of Normalized Impresions of all stories of that channel)* 100
Yield = SOV/SOD Normalized Impression = (lmpresions'000 of the story*Duration in seconds for which the story was present)/! 800 (30 Minutes) as per the Industries Standard.
Once these measures are obtained, stories are then sorted basis the selected measure which gives the Rank of each story in the Genre.
In at least an embodiment, there is provided a unified teleview snapshot platform (UTSP) configured to provide a visual display of said video file, said split video file.
In at least an embodiment, the unified teleview snapshot platform comprising a story ranking platform comprising:
a first collator configured to allow a user to collate said first insight marker, said second insight marker, and said third insight marker; each marker for said story marking platform being correlated with at least a stories’ tag to provide first collated data;
a story ranking portal configured to allow a user to rank said first video file in correlation with said second video file to provide a ranked profile; and
a second collator configured to allow a user to collate said first collated data with said ranked profile to provide second collated data.
In at least an embodiment, the system and method of this invention is configured to provide a story building platform.
Using the first insight marker, the second insight marker, and the third insight marker; an analysis engine (AE) analyses and forms a minute-level impresseion marker (i.e. minute- by-minute fourth set of data) is formed; which was earlier (prior art) not possible.
Thus, a minute level impression marker is attributed to video files (manual input stories) basis the percentage of duration for which the video file (story) was present in the defined time duration (minute). Thus, for the first time, granular level information is obtained; which was earlier not possible to be obtained / identified. According to a non-limiting exemplary embodiment considering a video file (story) that ran between 22:53:35 and 22:56:40 and assuming the impression of every minute starting from 22:53:00 to 22:57:00 was as follows, then the story impression was calculated as:
Figure imgf000013_0001
FIGURE 7 illustrates a schematic view of the story building platform.
In the story building platform of this invention, the platform enables users to analyse their own channel’s channel performance vis-a-vis what was playing on competition channel and the break strategy of the comptition channel.
Intra Day Story Performance: Here, the graph is plotted based on impressions for the channel with following colour code
o Red: Selected Story
o Yellow: Break
o Grey: Other Story

a second collator configured to allow a user to collate said first collated data with said ranked profile to provide second collated data.
In the anchor performance platform of this invention, the platform enables users to see the ranking of anchors, for how much time they were on screen, and the viewership garnered by them. i. KPI Blocks: The top Anchors of this section are decided based on Viewership/ Airtime (Sum of all impressions or lengths of Anchors in selected time period) a. Duration: Sum of lengths of Anchor in the selected date range.
b. Impressions: Sum of impressions of Anchor in the selected date range. c. Imp’OOO/Min: Total Impressions/Duration (in Minutes)
d. Days of Presence: If an Anchor is present on that particular day, the day is marked as green or as grey if the Anchor is absent. ii. Anchor Performance: The graph is drawn based on the impressions for that particular minute. a. Red: Anchor Present (Any/Selected/Top)
b. Grey: Others (including breaks)
Anchor Duration: Total no of minutes tagged as Anchor being present Others: Sum of all the minutes where an Anchor is not present.
The anchor monitoring platform maps an anchor with respect to a story and the same is further mapped with viewership statistics / data.
