- the combination of an additive package containing organic peroxide and an antiwear additive based on carboxylic acids in diesel fuel has a synergistic effect on the lubricity of the fuel.
- Table 2 shows the experimental values of the corrected diameter of the wear scar according to the HFRR method for each of the diesel fuel samples. For comparison, the tables also provide data on the lubricity of diesel fuel samples containing 2-ethylhexyl nitrate as an ignition promoter, with the composition and concentration of the antiwear additive unchanged.
