Abstract

The present disclosure provides a garbage compacting mechanism and a electric garbage collecting vehicle having a seperate garbage tank located in the front of the vehicle. The garbage compacting mechanism is disposed on the vehicle and above the garbage tank, having a planetary sprocket-chainwheel transmission mechanism or planetary gears for compacting garbage inside the garbage tank. As a result, the garbage is pressed with a large compression coefficient, thus increasing the capacity of storing and collecting of the electric garbage collecting vehicle. The present disclosure futher provides an electric garbage collecting vehicle having a steering wheel reversing mechanism used for a vehicle having the rear steering wheel to allow the vehicle to turn in the same direction of the rotable direction of the steering mechanism. The electric garbage collecting vehicle further comprises a garbage tank with a floodproof structure for electric motor, thereby the vehicle can travel through the flooded areas without affecting the operation of the electric motor.

Specifically, the present disclosure relates to garbage compacting mechanism used in an electric garbage collecting vehicle, the electric garbage collecting vehicle is movable in the narrow roads for purpose of mechanizing, reducing manpower, improving productivity, shortenning the duration of collecting and transporting to the gathering place and ensuring environmental sanitation.
Background
Currently, the garbage collection for ensuring environmental sanitation in Vietnam is divided into two phases. The first phase compries: collecting garbage which is performed manually by workers using handcarts from the locations of discharging garbage (residential areas, schools, hospitals, offices, public places) to the gathering places and waiting for specialized vehicles to take away, transport them to the common garbage disposal yards. The distance from the collecting locations to the gathering places are about 1-2 kilometres. This phase is carried out by self-managed garbage collecting teams or sanitation service companies. The second phase comprises collecting garbage from gathering places to the prescribed concentrated garbage disposal areas, transporting mechanically by specialized rolling trucks or dump trucks.
The current methods of collecting and transporting garbage have the advantages of being able to be carried out in every area, from small alleys to large roads, and workers are able to perform such method because it is simple and easy to implement.
However, in the process of industrialization, modernization and population growth in large cities today, manual garbage collection will not be able to keep pace with the rapidly increasing rate of the garbage generation, and face the following disadvantages: the implementation is manual and not highly professional; the rate of garbage collection in localities only reaches about 60 - 80% of total amount of garbage generated per day, there is still garbage remaining on inter-village roads, inter-communal roads and residential areas; the environmental pollution caused by garbage is still common due to garbage remains long time on the road during collection and transportation, about 5 - 7 hour/ day; due to manual collection, the arrangement of the gathering places are still based on the factors that are favorable for the health of workers so that many gathering places are located too close to the residential areas and the main roads causing environmental pollution, affecting urban beauty and obstructing traffic; the workers have to spend very much effort collecting and transporting garbage but efficiency of collecting gabage has not been improved, moreover, it requires more workers in the collecting process leading higher cost and allowances for workers; in order for the small handcarts be able to move in narrow lanes and to increase the volume of transporting, environmental workers often do additional walls attached with the carts to carry more twice the amount of garbage, causing environment pollution and obscuring visibility, which is dangerous while traveling.
Currently, the means of transporting garbage and wastes in towns and big cities are mainly garbage collection pushcarts with closed or opened tanks with different volumes and sizes. A lot of the specialized electric garbage collecting vehicles that do not meet the standard in appearance, and there are some disadvantages, such as: the garbage collection system uses a lot of human power; transporting volume is low; the garbage collection routine is unreasonable; the structure of vehicle is not strong and durable enough when the volume of transport is large and the vehicle operates a long time; the movement of the vehicle is unstable when carrying bulky garbage;
comfortability, appearance and environmental sanitation are not satisfied; the use and control of the vehicle are difficult.
The collection and transportation of garbage is one of the major problems that urban areas are facing in the world. Today, in the electric car revolution for replacing fossil fuels, many countries have applied electric vehicles for collecting and transporting garbage, mainly using small electric trucks or improved 3 -wheel vehicles. These vehicles do not have the function of compacting garbage, so the transportation is not much because the average density of household garbage is low (approximately 300kg/m3). The size of these vehicles are large, because in addition to the garbage tank, there is also a cabin and a seat for the driver, so it is impossible to enter the alley, while the narrow roads are common in cities in Vietnam and many Asian countries.
The 3 -wheel vehicles are unsafe structure vehicles and they have been banned from using in Vietnam. The present disclosure provides an electric garbage compacting vehicle that may be walked or driven while standing up, that has a compact size just like a motorbike and still be able to collect and transport the amount of garbage equivalent to a 1-ton truck, which can solve the above problem.
There have been solutions relating to some types of the garbage compacting mechanism for pushcarts. For example, W09631416 (Al) provided a garbage collecting pushcart with a storage compartment and a cylinder driven garbage compacting bar mechanism that is mounted on the lid of the container. DE3338213 (Al) provided a separatly garbage compacting mechanism used for garbage collecting pushcarts, in which the garbage collecting pushcarts are pushed into a position for the garbage compacting mechanism compacts the garbage in the tank of the vehicle.
However, these solutions have not provided a comprehensive solution for solving the problems of the electric garbage collecting vehicle which is combined with garbage compacting mechanism, and be able to disassemble the tank to facilitate the transfer of garbage to containers.
At present, there has not been any motor vehicles that not only have the abilities of collecting and compacting garbage but also have a small size for moving in the narrow roads. Therefore, there is a demand for garbage collection and compaction vehicles which could move in the narrow roads.
Summary
The object of the present disclosure is to propose an electric garbage collecting vehicle that is movable in the narrow roads to solve the above problems.
To achieve the above object, the present disclosure provides a electric garbage compacting mechanism used in an electric garbage collecting vehicle comprises a front garbage tank comrising: a tank lid used for covering the tank opening, having a horizontal semi-cylindrical integrated outer case that is opened at the bottom; this lid is rotatable around the horizontal shaft at the rear edge of the tank; a horizontal semi- cylindrical garbage compacting trough having the center line that is coaxial with the centerline of the outer case, opened at the bottom and be rotatable inside outer case, are arranged above the bin of the electric garbage collecting vehicle; a plate-type compressor having a pressing length smaller than the length of a garbage tank with one side integrated to garbage compacting trough; and a planetary sprocket- chainwheel transmission mechanism mounted on a compressor for driving and transmitting the pressure that includes at lease one large chain fixed to the inner side of the semi-cylinder garbage compacting trough; a electric garbage compacting motor fixed on the compressor; two shafts rotatably coupled on the compressor including the first shaft mounted to the first sprocket; and the second shaft mounted to the second sprocket that is fixed on the shaft and driven by the first sprocket, and the third sprocket fixedly mounted to the second shaft and engaged with large chain; thereby, when garbage compacting electric motor is actived, the compressor will rotate and compact the garbage inside the garbage tank.
According to one aspect, the present disclosure provides the garbage compacting mechanism, in which a spring for opening the garbage compacting trough has one end hooked to the tank lid and the other end hooked to garbage compacting trough to pull the garbage compacting trough and the compressor towards the original status of not working.
By the garbage compacting mechanism mentioned above, the garbage is compacted so the carrying capacity is increased for many times; reducing
environmental pollution due to garbage is compacted in closed containers; reducing investment costs of support facilities; it is easy to operate and use.
The present disclosure also provides the electric garbage collecting vehicle comprising: a frame made of section steel and get bent up at the front axle position to lower the chassis and reduce the height of the vehicle; a garbage tank removably mounted to the front of vehicle, wherein the bottom of the garbage tank is fitted to the bent part of the frame; wheels consisting of two front wheels and two rear wheels and at least one electric motor disposed under the frame, wherein the electric motor is operated by accumulators electricity and drives the wheels; accumulators fixedly disposed on the frame and located at the rear of the garbage tank; a handlebar connected to the steering mechanism and two rear wheels for driving the rear wheels and turning the electric vehicle; and the above garbage compacting mechanism is disposed in the rear upper of the tank for compacting the garbage inside the tank.
The present disclosure also provides the electric garbage collecting vehicle having a steering mechanism for a four-wheel-drive garbage truck that has two steering wheels located at the rear, including: a vertically rotatable steering shaft is fixed to the handlebar; and a rotatable reversing mechanism is connected to steering shaft and the shafts of two rear wheels so that when the steering shaft is rotated in one direction then the two rear wheels is rotated in a reversing direction, so that the vehicle will turn in the same direction as that of the steering wheel so that the driver will still feel like the vehicle is changing in the same direction as that of the handlebar.
The present disclosure also provides the electric garbage collecting vehicle having a garbage tank with a floodproof structure installed underneath thereof, wherein, the floodproof structure is used for the motor including floodproof protection member for the electric motor that is located under the tank and covering the surround of electric motor on the top and only opened at the bottom so that when the vehicle is driven to a flooding area, this outer floodproof case will keep the air on the top thereby forming the pressure to prevent water from rising up to the electric motor.

In the following, the present disclosure will be illustrated with a specific example of the structure of the electric garbage collecting vehicle according to one embodiment.
Refer to Fig.l to Fig.5, according to the first aspect, the electric garbage collecting vehicle comprises: the frame 1 made of shaped steel and bent at the position of the front axle to lower the vehicle substructure and reduce the height of the vehicle to not block the view so that the driver can steer; the garbage tank 2 located above the frame and in the front of the vehicle; four wheels installed below the frame and there is an electric motor for driving the front wheels, and the two rear wheels are used as steering wheels; the shock-absorbing leaf-springs 3 disposed on the wheel shafts for shock-absorbing while driving; the type 12V-240Ah accumulators 4 fixedly disposed on frame 1 and located at the rear of garbage tank 2 in the accumulator compartment; the handlebar 5 having a steering shaft 6 connected with the steering mechanism and two rear wheels for driving the rear wheels and turning the electric vehicle disposed in the rear, allowing a driver to drive from the rear of the vehicle. The plate 7 for standing used in the combination with a lid of container 71 disposed in the rear at the bottom of the vehicle, allowing the driver to stand on the vehicle when the vehicle is moving.
A 20-liter dirty water collection bin 10 is located underneath the garbage tank and located in the middle of the frame, collecting dirty water that flows out of the garbage tank during the garbage compaction process. In the dirty water tank 10 there is a sensor that lights up a signal when the dirty water is about to overflow so that workers can find the nearest drain outlet to discharge water.
The front axle of the vehicle is driven by an electric motor that is mounted a gearbox and connect to a axle differential. The whole of the electric motor is placed in a floodproof protection member 21. The front axle and the rear axle of vehicle are connected by clamp with shock-absorbing leaf-spring. The vehicle cabinet is located at the back and tilted so that it does not get caught in the driver's feet when walking the vehicle. In the vehicle cabinet, there are two floors of high capacity accumulator are kept on high to remain dry even when the vehicle is running in a flooded road, the space between vehicle cabinet is fitted with 2 electric motor controls driving the alxe and garbage compacting electric motor. The front of the vehicle cabinet is mounted a spring shaft 17 to be weight balanced with the garbage compacting mechanism 8 to assist when lifting the garbage compacting mechanism 8 up. The back of the vehicle cabinet has 3 doors to replace the accumulator. A door at a low position when opened and turned down can be used as a panel for the driver to stand up to control the vehicle. This door is fitted with two springs on either side to close itself when the driver comes down. When the upper two doors are opened to both sides, there is a strong brace to form two side-panels for the driver. The top of the vehicle cabinet has a U-shaped handlebar like that of a motorbike so that everyone who knows how to drive a motorbike can control the garbage compacting vehicle easily. Steering wheel 5 is equipped with a throttle to adjust the vehicle speed, oil brake disc, horn buttons, turn signals, headlights, reverse gear. The top of the vehicle cabinet also is arranged a meter for measuring the capacity of accumulator and a meter showing the operating time of the vehicle.
As shown in Fig.1, 10 and 11, the garbage compacting mechanism 8 include the tank lid 81 for covering the tank opening, having a horizontal semi-cylindrical integrated outer case 82 that is opend at the bottom. This lid 81 is rotatable around the horizontal shaft at the rear edge of the tank 2. One the horizontal semi-cylindrical garbage compacting trough 83 that have the same center axis with outer case 82, opened at the bottom and rotated inside the outer case 82, is disposed in the upper of the garbage tank of the electric garbage collecting vehicle. The plate-type compressor 84 have a pressing length smaller than the length of a garbage tank with one side integrated and located in the central axis of garbage compacting trough 83 and outer case 82. A planetary sprocket-chainwheel transmission mechanism 85 is mounted on the compressor for driving and transfering the compressor. The transmission mechanism 85 consists of large chains 86 located parallel to the inner circumference of the outer shell 82 which is fixed to the inside of the garbage compacting trough 83. The whole of electric motor 87 integrated with the gearbox and the driving front sprocket are placed in the garbage compacting trough and fixed on the compressor. The two shaft are rotatably mounted on the compressor. The first shaft coincides with the shaft of the electric motor 87 that is mounted on the compressor which is mount the first sprocket. The second shaft includes the second sprocket 88 fixed on the shaft and driven by the first sprocket through a chain drive. The third sprocket 89 is mounted on the second shaft and engage with the large chain, thereby, when the garbage compacting electric motor 87 is operated, the compressor will rotate and compact the garbage inside the garbage tank, so that the garbage compacting mechanism which is operated by planetary sprocket transmission manner that has a compact structure but large transmission ratio.
Garbage compacting mechanism 8 is connected to the vehicle cabinet by means of a rotating shaft 16 and spring shaft 17 for balancing weight. The 50-liter garbage tank which containing recycle garbage is also the part that holds the garbage compacting mechanism through the lid 81. The backside of the garbage recycle bin 22 is planar, the upper edge is chamfered to support the driver while standing. The lid of the garbage tank is opened and is molded to protect against rainwater.
The garbage compacting cage is close to garbage recycle bin 22, with the rearview mirror mounted. The garbage compacting trough 83 have the compressor rac 84 facing outward that is located in the inside of the garbage compacting cage. The garbage compacting trough 83 is movable around the axis according to the principles of planetary front sprocket. The chain (large chain) 83’ is fixed to the outer case of the compacting cage 83.
In the opening position, the garbage compressor 84 together with the garbage compacting cage are rotated up to expose the opening of the container to place the garbage. Then, the operator press the button for operating the electric motor 87 and causing to turn the garbage compacting trough 84 downwards and compacting the garbage inside container 2 with a high compression ratio (Fig.11), reducing the garbage volume to 5-10 times compared the original garbage volume. When a cycle of garbage compacting has been finished, the user unlocks the lock pin, garbage compacting trough 83 is brought back to the open position by the spring 90 which is mounted behind the garbage compacting trough 83. The lid of the garbage tank 81 is formed with a convex surface 8G from the inside to the top to allow the bin to easily move from the garbage compacting area to other parts of the container, while also expanding the space of the bin and expanding the space for garbage compacting. The front of the garbage compactor has a headlight, turn signals and a horn. The garbage compacting mechanism 8 is put in place and fully immersed in the outer rim of the tank opening to prevent the dirty water from overflowing. The garbage tank whose two sides are concaved to fit the engine and wheel are put in front of the vehicle.
Referring to Fig.2, Fig.8 and Fig.9, the opening of the garbage tank with bearing rim 12 to match the garbage compactor and also matching with a automatic loader of a common garbage truck. Two sides of the garbage are mounted loaders 13 for the folklift dumb the garbage to the container of a lift truck. The loader 13 are positioned at a distance from the center of the bin so that when the forklift lifts the garbage tank to the opening of the container, the garbage may dumb itseft. The dirty drainage hole created at the bottom of the garbage tank is matched to the hole of the dirty water tank below. If the electric garbage compacting vehicle is used together with a garbage truck, the garbage bins must be inward bevelled at the lower comer that adjacent to the vehicle cabinet (Fig.8), The beveled angle 14 is created so that when the gripper of the common garbage truck rolls up the bin without touching the bottom comer into the vehicle cabinet. Clips on both sides of trash cans are used for a shovel and a broom with collapsible handles that do not get dirty and obstructing traffic.
According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, overall, the electric garbage compacting vehicle has the wheelbase size of 800m, the length of 1900mm, the width of 800mm and the height of 1350mm, which is equivalent to the size of a regular scooter with a short wheelbase, so that the garbage compacting vehicle may be managed flexibly in alleys.
By the aforementioned structure, the electric garbage collecting vehicle according to the present disclosure may overcome the disadvantages of the above- mentioned garbage collection methods: It is able to be carried out in every area, from small alleys to big roads; quick collection, shortenning the duration of collecting and transporting to the gathering place and ensuring environmental sanitation because the vehicle is driven by the electric motor; reducing labor because the garbage is compacted so the capacity is increased many times; reducing environmental pollution due to compacted garbage in closed tanks; reducing investment in support facilities, it is simple and easy to implement.
According to another embodiment, the present disclosure provide a broom 15 with a collapsible handle that is attached to the electric garbage collecting vehicle. At present, in Vietnam, environment workers often use bamboo brooms in the north and coconut leaf brooms in the south. There are usually two brooms on each electric garbage collecting vehicle, one long-handled broom to sweep the road and one short- handled broom to clear garbage by a shovel with one hand. The use of both brooms, especially the broom that has up to 2 meters long handle, causing pollution and obstruction while traveling. Therefore, the present disclosure provide using a versatile broom 15 with a collapsible handle as shown in Fig.14. The broom handle is made of two telescopic stainless steel tubes thay in which are fitted with draw spring 15 and shock absorber spring 19. Normally the broom is shortened and placed next to the container of the electric garbage compacting vehicle. When in use, if a long-handled broom is used for sweeping, the worker holding the broomstick handle to pulls out until the end of the length, then fix the broom handle by means of a spring-loaded pin 18. If you need to shorten the broomstick, just press the pin near the middle of the two pipe joints, the spring in the tube will pull the handle back. In order not be noisy, this spring is connected with a damping spring 19. One end of the broom handle has a nut and a bracer to change the brush.
Garbage compacting mechanism 8 used a planetary front sprocket system or planetary gears system 85 according to an example of the present disclosure has the specified parameters as following.
The main part is the garbage compacting trough 83 that is mounted electric motor 87 with the power of 4kw inside to gearbox by the transmission ratio 1:8; the torque is 120N.m. The outer shaft of the electric motor 87 is mounted 14-tooth front sprocket that is connected by a one row chain to 42-tooth front sprocket 42 rang in order to get the transmission ratio 1:3. Coaxial with the large front sprocket Iόh are two 14-tooth front sprocket that is connected by two-row chains with 2 front sprocket with a same amount of tooths on the outermost shaft. Two ends of this shaft engage 6 14-tooth front sprocket to a fixed chain that screws in the outer cage of the garbage compactor. The number of links that are calculated for the whole circle is 154, the transmission ratio is 1:11. So the total transmission ratio over the system is 1 : 264. Therefore, It could be canculated the total loading of the compressor is approximately 20 tons. The garbage compacting trough always creates a hollow in the garbage tank. When operating, workers put garbage bags through the opening of the garbage bin into the hollow. Then press the garbage compacting button. At the end of the rotating cycle of garbage compacting trough 83 has one cotter pin that is pushed by a spring to prevent garbage compacting trough from opening that causing the smell of garbage to the surrounding environment. To further garbage compacting, the operator detachs a cotter pin by a lock handle mounted next to the garbage compacting cage. The garbage compacting trough 83 will be automatically opened by a inner mounted spring that has been stored power from the last garbage compacting. The operator places the garbage bag in the opening of the garbage collector and repeats the above procedure.
Refer to Fig.6, garbage tank 2 co floodproof structure used for the electric garbage collecting vehicle which is mounted at the bottom of garbage tank. The floodproof structure for the motor include floodproof protection member 21 for floodproofing cho electric motor 31 is located underneath the tank and covering the surround of the electric motor 31 at the top and only and only opening at the bottom so that when the vehicle is driven to a flooding area, this outer floodproof case will keep the air on the top thereby forming the pressure for proofing the water rising up to the electric motor 21.
Currently, with the rapid urbanization speed, the transport infrastructure cannot keep up, so flooding often occurs when it rains.. Driving electric vehicle through deep submerged areas is very dangerous for electric motor 31 because it is often installed in a low position in the car, easy to short circuit. Therefore, the flooding protecting member of electric motor 21 is to overcome the above disadvantages. The floodproof protecting member of electric motor 21 is a metallic semi-cylinder taken outside the engine that only exposes the bottom to create the convection for cooling the engine. When driving into the deep water because the semi-cylinder is always facing down, the air cannot escape to prevent the water from rising in the protective member, keeping the engine shaft not in contact with water, this is a part that is easily to get water into the engine. Therefore, the vehicle can still operate even when flooded with both 2 wheels.
3- or 4-wheel vehicles driving the rear wheel with the steering wheel will be driven in reverse, that is, turning the steering wheel to the right, the car will change direction to the left and vice versa. This is easy to confuse the driver and will be dangerous when traveling.
Therefore the present disclosure provide a rear steering wheel reversing mechanism as shown in Fig.12 and Fig.13. The handle bar 5 is fitted with a steering wheel reversing mechanism 51 ά the rear axle (Figures 12 and 13), avoiding danger because of being wrong about the turn direction in unexpected situation.
The handlebar 5 is fixed to a vertically rotatable steering shaft 6. The steering wheel reversing mechanism 51 connect steering shaft to two rear wheels by a brace system which is connected to the steering shaft and the shaft of two rear wheels.
The brace system includes two cross-braces 53 and 55 are rotatable on two shaft of two rear wheels and linked together by a connecting rod 54 through a hinge joint. The brace 53 has a hinge joint at the middle for connecting to the rear wheel shafts, and one end is connected to one end of the connecting rod 54 through the hinge joint, the other end is hinge jointed to one end of the rod 52. The other end of rod 52 is hinge jointed to steering shaft 6. Thereby, when turning steering shaft 6 to the right, the brace 53 reverse the rotation direction and the rear wheels rotate to the left and vice versa.
The control of the steering wheel only needs to impact on one of the two wheels and crossing the brace to reverse the wheel to suit the normal routine. The mechanism is also applicable to 3 -wheeler that having steering wheels at the rear.
The advantages of the garbage compacting mechanism and the electric garbage collecting vehicle that has this mechanism according to the present disclosure include:
Vehicles can compress garbage right from the source of garbage collection, thus reducing the amount of transit and minimizing environmental pollution due to the garbage being closing compacted. Garbage compaction is divided into the individual bags so the ratio of compaction is very high.
The car is compact in size with high load and big accumulator and can be moved in the alleys, so after full of load, it is posible to transported directly from the city to gathering zones with garbage tank. Therefore, it is possible to replace and eventually eliminate completely rudimentary pushcarts that wasting human power and causing environmental pollution. There is also no need to bring the common garbage truck into the city to collect garbage to avoid pollution and traffic congestion.
Moreover, the collection of garbage at the containers located in suburban areas should be able to use forklift trucks with high loading capacity and a lower investment costs. Forklift trucks can run all day without avoiding rush hour like in the city.
Small lorries with integrated container or take out the garbage itself tank cause environmental pollution every time they transfer to large trucks to move to landfills. The electric garbage vehicle have separate containers so that it is possible to use the gripper of common garbage truck to collect garbage or use forklifts to dump into garbage tanks.

Claims

1. A garbage compacting mechanism used in an electric garbage collecting vehicle provided with a front garbage tank comprises:
a tank lid used for covering the tank opening, having a horizontal semi- cylindrical integrated outer case that is opened at the bottom; the lid is mounted rotatablly around the horizontal shaft at the rear edge of the tank;
a horizontal semi-cylindrical garbage compacting trough having the center line that is coaxial with the centerline of the outer case, that is opened at the bottom and rotatable inside the outer case, disposed in the upper of garbage tank of the electric garbage collecting vehicle;
a plate-type compressor having a pressing length smaller than the length of garbage tank with one side integrated to garbage compacting trough; and
a planetary sprocket-chainwheel transmission mechanism mounted on the compressor for driving and transmiting the pressure include:
at lease one large chain fixed to the inner side of the semi-cylinder garbage compacting trough;
a electric garbage compacting motor fixed on the compressor;
two shafts which are rotatably coupled on the compressor, comprising the first shaft mounted to the first sprocket; and the second shaft mounted to the second sprocket that is fixed on the shaft and driven by the first sprocket, and the third sprocket fixedly mounted to the second shaft and engaged with a large chain; thereby, when garbage compacting electric motor is actived, the compressor will rotate and compact the garbage inside the garbage tank.

The garbage compacting mechanism according to claim 1, wherein a spring for opening the garbage compacting trough comprisea one end hooked the tank lid and the other end hooked garbage compacting trough to pull the garbage compacting trough and the compressor towards the original status of not working.
3. An electric garbage collecting vehicle comprises:
a frame made of section steel and get bent up at the front axle position to lower the chassis and reduce the height of the vehicle;
a garbage tank removably mounted to the front of vehicle, wherein the bottom of the garbage tank is fitted to the bent part of frame; wheels including two front wheels and two rear wheels and at least one electric motor arranged under the frame, wherein the electric motor is operated by accumulators electricity and drives the wheels;
accumulators fixedly disposed on the frame and located at the rear of the garbage tank;
handlebars connected to a steering mechanism located in the rear and two rear wheels for driving the rear wheels and turning the electric vehicle;
a garbage compacting mechanism according to claim 1 or 2 disposed in the rear upper of the tank for compacting the garbage inside the tank.
4. The electric garbage collecting vehicle according to claim 3, wherein a floodproof structure for the electric motor of the garbage tank attached in the lower of garbage tank includes the floodproof protection member used for the electric motor is located underneath the tank and covering the upper surrounding of the electric motor and only opened at the bottom so that when the vehicle is driven to a flooding area, this outer floodproof case will keep the air on the top thereby forming pressure to prevent water from rising up to the electric motor.
5. The electric garbage collecting vehicle according to claim 3 or 4, wherein the steering mechanism comprises:
a vertically rotatable steering shaft fixed to the handlebar; and
a rotatable reversing mechanism connected to the steering shaft and shafts of two rear wheels so that when the steering shaft is rotated to the left, the two rear wheels shall be rotated to the right and vice versa, thereby the vehicle will turn in the same rotated direction of the handlebar and the driver will still feel like that the vehicle is changing in the same direction as the rotated direction of the handlebar.
6. The electric garbage collecting vehicle according to claim 5, wherein the rotatable reversing mechanism is a set of braces include two cross-braces (53) and (55) rotatably mounted on shafts of two rear wheels and connected together by a connecting rod (54) through a hinge joint; the brace (53) has a hinge joint at the middle for connecting the brace with the rear wheel shafts, and one end of the brace (53) is connected with one end of the connecting rod (54) through the hinge joint, the other end of the brace (53) is jointed with one end of the rod (52); the other end of the rod (52) is hinge jointed to the steering shaft (6).
