Abstract
The present invention relates to a system (1) for finding root cause by using mobile and fixed network data such as the cell where unreachable subscribers get service before and after the time period when s/he cannot be reached, type of network, quality of service and information of the terminal being used, in a modeling method.
Description
A SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING ROOT CAUSE ABOUT SUBSCRIBERS HAVING REACHING PROBLEM FOR MOBILE NETWORK
SUBSCRIBERS
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a system for finding root cause by using mobile and fixed network data such as the cell where unreachable subscribers get service before and after the time period when s/he cannot be reached, type of network, quality of service and information of the terminal being used, in a modeling method.
Background of the Invention
Today, mobile call termination service and access to mobile networks and call initiation services as well are included among essential services required for providing any retail mobile communication service. A call is initiated in a mobile network by transmitting access signals to the mobile network by means of a mobile device upon button of“call/send” by dialling the phone number requested to be called by the user. Being unable to reach subscribers through service on mobile operators is important for subscribers and it leads to problems such as loss of reputation, loss of customer, inability to acquire income potential for operators as well. In the state of the art, in the event of being unable to reach a subscriber who cannot connect to a mobile network, this status is kept by creating record in a central data warehouse. Because the unreachable subscriber is in passive mode in the mobile network, no record created by this subscriber can be found as long as s/he is triggered over the network. Therefore, no root cause analysis/comment can be made about the inaccessibility status. Operators requesting to improve network quality make improvement on metrics such as call interruption, sound quality, data rate.
Considering the studies in the state of the art, it is understood that there is need for a system which enables to determine root cause from data of network service where unreachable subscribers get service before and after the time period when s/he cannot be reached.
The Turkish patent document no. 2017/21888, an application in the state of the art, discloses a system for detecting the reason of not being able to reach a subscriber who is called in a call being realized over a mobile communication network, and notifies it to the calling party. According to the system, when a calling subscriber initiates a call towards the called subscriber, it occurs that the called subscriber cannot get service following the subscriber register query on the communication network and the announcement server evaluates messages in signalings among stations and on the communication network, determines the latest location information of the called subscriber and then queries this location information in the location unit database by means of the information evaluation module. The announcement server detects that the called subscriber gets service for example from a cell in a subway station most recently by means of an information evaluation module during this query and plays the related announcement by using the voice response and announcement module.
Summary of the Invention
An objective of the present invention is to realize a system which enables to make root cause analysis about the status of being unreachable in accordance with the service data that it receives before and after the time when the unreachable subscriber cannot be reached in the event that the mobile network subscribers are unreachable.

(3)·
The server (5) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to receive data about the unreachable subscribers by accessing the subscriber and service data stored in the data warehouse (4). The server (5) is configured to receive data about the cell, terminal and network quality relating to the service that it gets before and after the time period when the unreachable subscriber cannot be reached. The server (5) is configured to calculate a correlation coefficient for subscribers who have similar network data and cannot be reached. The server (5) is configured to make root cause analysis about the source of the problem by using the information of previous and/or next cell/network type for the time period when the subscriber cannot be reached, together with the correlation coefficient. In the inventive system (1), personal data about subscribers getting service from the mobile network (3) are stored at first. Information such as cell, terminal where subscribers are located during service, rate are stored in the data warehouse (4). The
user terminal (2) which is used by an operator subscriber has problem of being unreachable for any reason. The server (5) receives information such as the cell where the subscriber gets service before and/or after the time period when problem of being unreachable is experienced, type of network, quality of service by accessing the data warehouse (4) records. Number of subscribers having similar problems and states are determined as a correlation coefficient.
