Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a communication system and a communication method.
  • SNMP Simple Network Management Protocol
  • Non-Patent Document 1 A method of monitoring the network status has been proposed for network management.
  • SNMP Simple Network Management Protocol
  • an SNMP server that manages and monitors sends a transmission request of status information of the device to the device under monitoring, and the device under monitoring responds to the SNMP server with the status of its own device.
  • This monitored device sends a response to the SNMP server every time there is a request from the SNMP server. Therefore, the SNMP can only grasp the state of the device under the supervision of the SNMP server. Specifically, although SNMP can determine that a packet loss has occurred, it cannot specify which packet of which user has been affected.
  • Streaming Telemetry Another method is Streaming Telemetry (see Non-Patent Document 2).
  • the device under monitoring is set in advance to send a status notification at predetermined time intervals. For this reason, each device under monitoring periodically transmits the contents corresponding to the response.
  • Streaming Telemetry can reduce the load on each device compared to SNMP.
  • INT since information is added in packet units, it is possible to specify which packet was affected when packet loss or delay occurred, unlike the above-mentioned SNMP and Streaming Telemetry. It is considered that the load on the server and the monitored device can be reduced in the INT, as compared with the SNMP in which the server and the monitored device individually create request and response information. In this way, INT differs from conventional SNMP and Streaming Telemetry in the notification method of status information, and further, the granularity of the monitoring target can be reduced.

Description

例えば、従来からよく用いられている方法として、SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol)がある(非特許文献1参照)。

ここで、フローとは、5-tupple(in/outのポート番号、in/outのIPアドレス、プロトコル番号)が等しいパケットの集合である。
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000001
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000002
 メモリ1010は、ROM(Read Only Memory)1011及びRAM(Random Access Memory)1012を含む。ROM1011は、例えば、BIOS(Basic Input Output System)等のブートプログラムを記憶する。
なお、ハードディスクドライブ1090は、SSD(Solid State Drive)により代替されてもよい。
