Description

AN INDUCTION HEATING COOKER
The present invention relates to an induction heating device, in particular to a cooker.
The induction heating devices are gradually more used as cooktops due to the quick, economical, safe and clean heating methods thereof. Induction heating is created with the joule effect on the resistance produced as a result of the penetration depth determined by the frequency of the alternative currents of the electromagnetically inducted eddy currents of a coil generating high frequency magnetic field on a conductive metal cooking container (pot, pan etc.) having ferromagnetic features. The desired power adjustment for the suitable cooking container can be realized by changing the frequency of the alternative current. In order to use an induction heating cooker, the container desired to be heated has to be electrically conductive and produced from low density carbon steel, cast iron and magnetic inoxidizable materials with ferromagnetic features.
In the induction heating cooktops, a certain number of coils are positioned under a glass surface so as to form the heating surface. There are a large number of embodiments in state of the art wherein the coils are positioned in various configurations. In these embodiments, one or more than one coil designed to be one within the other at the regions determined by serigraphy on the glass surface heats a single cooking container. One of the problems encountered in the state of the art is to form coil structures which accommodate best the cooking containers which are produced in very different diameters and shapes and from different materials.
Another problem with the state of the art induction heating cookers is the necessity to operate the high power and large diameter coils together with smaller diameter coils in the most efficient manner. Moreover, as the size of the cooking container increases, the power to be transferred to the cooking container also increases. For example, if the power to be transferred per unit cooking container is desired to be increased then the number of coils also has to be decreased. On the contrary, if the position and geometry of the cooking container is desired to be detected on the entire surface, lower amount of power can be provided to small diameter cooking containers since the number of coils has to be decreased this time. One of the most important problems encountered in optimizing these values is the loss generated in the coils especially by high powers and thermal management.
In the induction heating cookers, since the heat required for cooking is generated on the cooking container not on the heat sources on the cooker, the efficiency of the induction heating cookers is very high. Since the heat transfer in the induction heating cookers is carried out twice as fast as the electric or gas cookers, the user who starts to using an induction heating cooker finds it difficult to prepare dishes as usual and the desired performance cannot be obtained in the desired duration. Therefore, the induction heating cookers cannot be used or cause the user to have bad experience in particular in special days.
In the state of the International Patent Application No. WO2011069290, a cooker is disclosed, which contains induction, gas and electric heaters together.
Another state of the art embodiment is explained in the Chinese Patent Application No. CN106287854. In this embodiment, a cooker is disclosed, which is operated in the gas mode if containers used on gas or electric heaters are used on induction heating cookers so as to prevent said containers from being damaged. The gas mode is performed by using an additional coil which has a different number of windings.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of an induction heating cooker which provides an efficient cooking process.
The induction heating cooker realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a memory wherein cooking parameters of gas or electric cookers are recorded; a selector; and a control unit which changes the existing cooking parameters according to the gas or electric cooker cooking parameters recorded in the memory and applies the same when the selector is triggered.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the producer conducts experiments wherein information on the time and energy and similar parameters required for heating a certain amount of water to a certain temperature in gas or electric cookers is gathered. Said parameters gathered in relation to the gas or electric cookers are recorded in the memory as the gas or electric cooker mode. When the user triggers the selector on the top plate, the operational parameters of the induction heater are changed with the parameters related to the gas or electric cooker mode, and thus the induction heaters are operated according to said mode.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the producer conducts an experiment wherein two liters of water is heated from 20° to 95° in a gas cooker and parameters such as time, energy and the like gathered during said experiment are recorded in the memory.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the producer conducts an experiment wherein two liters of water is heated from 20° to 95° in an electric cooker and parameters such as time, energy and the like gathered during said experiment are recorded in the memory.
In an embodiment of the present invention, all the induction heaters or one or more than one induction heater selected by the producer are/is operated according to the parameters related to the gas or electric cooker mode.
By means of the present invention, the user is enabled to carry out the cooking process in the induction heating cooker according to his/her habits with the gas or electric cooker. Moreover, by means of the present invention, the adaptation period of the users to the induction heating cooker, who had a gas or electric cooker previously, is shortened, and dishes meticulously prepared during this period are enabled to be cooked without experiencing any negative situations.
