Abstract

The invention refers to a tool set hanging packaging, namely a packaging which enables storage of each tool set in a transparent state both by offering for sale and also during the use later-on. Thanks to the invention each particular tool pieces (T) of each tool set are each per se easily insertable into such packaging, arranged in an organized manner and also easily removable there-from, when desired. To this aim, a locking member (3) is arranged on said base plate (1) between said sequences (2, 2 ') and is by means of its actuating portion (301), which protrudes outside from the base plate (1), displaceable in the longitudinal direction (x - x) thereof at a pre-determined distance from its one to another terminal position, wherein said locking member (3) is furnished with a sequence of resilient cantilevered locking holders (31, 32), the arrangement of which substantially corresponds to arrangement of the holders (21, 22; 21', 22 ') on the base plate (1), so that each tool piece (T) in a tool set, when inserted between each neighboring holders (21, 22; 21', 22'), also extends between each neighboring locking holders (31, 32) on said locking member (3), and each locking holder (31, 32) on said locking member (3) is furnished with a securing portion (310, 320). which in one of said terminal positions of the locking member (3) protrudes over each corresponding tool piece (T) of the tool set, by which each of said tool pieces (T) of a tool set, when inserted within the packaging, is temporarily protected against undesired removal from each corresponding gap between each neighboring holders (21, 22; 21', 22 ') until the locking member (3) is displaced into its another terminal position on the base plate (1).

Tool set hanging packaging
T he present invention refers to a tool set hanging packaging, which is suitable either for storage for the purpose of sale or offering for sale, or also later during the use of each tools as such from the side of each purchaser i.e. user.
Such inventions in accordance to the International patent Classification belong cither to store equipment, namely to class L 47 F 5/00, or to packaging suitable for exhibition or presentation of certain items and consequently into the Class B 25 I I 3/00.
In this, the invention is rest on a problem how to provide a hanging packaging namely a packaging for storage of a tool set in a transparent state both during the sale or offering to sale, and also subsequently during the use thereof, wherein on the one hand each single tool piece could be easily inserted and herewith transparently arranged therein, or optionally also easily removable there-from, and on the other hand such hanging packaging should also enable securing against undcsired removal like a theft of single tool pieces from each tool set during offering the tools for sale. A lool set in this specification means a pre-determined number of tool pieces, e.g. wrenches, screwdrivers or the like, wherein such tool pieces are generally suitable for the same purpose and together form a functional group, in which the sole tool pieces differ from each other in particular in dimensions or in shape of certain details, e.g. by width of the gap by wrenches, or by screwdrivers in dimensions and/or in the shape of the operational tip used for manipulating each screw, or in its length and/or diameter by boring, thread cutting or milling tools.
L too set hanging packaging is disclosed in SI 23 167 L and DO 297 17 238 U. In both cases the hanging packaging consists of a base plate, which is furnished with a suitable opening, which enables hanging on a cantilevered holder, as well as with an attaching means, which is suitable for attaching each tool onto said base plate. Such hanging packaging is no doubt suitable for hanging each particular toll piece of a tool set during the stage of offering for sale and even later during the use, and moreover also preventing of undesired removal of said tool piece from the packaging prior to sale thereof. In the practice however such storage of single tool pieces, which may essentially differ from each other in view of dimensions or shape thereof generally required availability of several packaging variations which are each per se produced by different dimensions, which is connected with essentially increasing of costs due to producing such packaging, more waste and more complicated recycling and in addition to that, such packaging generally does not allow to each user to store several tool pieces of the same tool set on the same place and in an organized manner and.
On the other hand, those skilled in the art are generally aware that storage of a group of tool pieces belonging to a tool set on the same place and in an organized manner either for the purpose of sale or for the purpose of using such tool pieces. is enabled by means of a packaging in the form of a plate or a box, which is furnished with at least one opening for hanging or attaching to any further suitable surface, in particular c.g. to each wall, wherein on such plate at least two properly spaced sequences of properly resilient cantilevered holders are available, so that each two neighboring holders form a gap there-between into which a tool piece of a tool set may be inserted and is then positively retained in two mutually spaced gaps formed by four holders, namely by two pairs of neighboring holders belonging to each of said sequences.
In the context of resolving the previously mentioned problem, the invention proposes a tool set hanging packaging, which comprises a sufficiently rigid base plate, on which two sequences of cantilevered holders are arranged, which extend substantially i.e. at least approximately in a longitudinal direction of said base plate and are in the transversal direction of said base plate spaced apart from each other on order to allow inserting of single tool pieces of each tool set. In general, each tool piece of said tool set is detachably insertable into a gap between two neighboring holders in the first sequence and also into a gap between two neighboring holders in the second sequence arranged along the same transversal axis, and is then maintained in such position, or can also be also removed, when desired.
In a hanging packaging according to the invention a locking member is foreseen which is arranged on said base plate between said sequences and is by means of its actuating portion, which protrudes outside from the base plate, displaceable in the longitudinal direction thereof at a pre-determined distance from its one to another terminal position. Said locking member is furnished with a sequence of resilient cantilevered locking holders, the arrangement of which substantially corresponds to arrangement of the holders on the base plate, so that each tool piece in a tool set, when inserted between each neighboring holders, also extends between each neighboring locking holders on said locking member, and each locking holder on said locking member is furnished with a securing portion, which in one of said terminal positions of the locking member protrudes over each corresponding tool piece of the tool set, by which each of said tool pieces of a tool set, when inserted within the packaging, is temporarily protected against undesired removal from each corresponding gap between each neighboring holders until the locking member is displaced into its another terminal position on the base plate.
In addition to that, a plumbing means can be arranged on said base plate, and c complementary plumbing means can be arranged on said locking member wherein both these plumbing means are adapted for plumbing in the sense of preventing any displacement of the locking member relative to the base plate in that terminal position of the locking member, in which each tool pieces, which are stored in the packaging, should be by means of said securing portions on the locking member prevented against undesired removal from the gap between each corresponding locking holders on the locking member and from both corresponding gaps between each corresponding holders of both sequences on the base plate.
Said base plate can also be furnished with at least one hanging eye, which comprises at least one passage, which is suitable for hanging of said packaging on a cantilever or a pin of each sale rack in a store.
The invention moreover provides a possibility, according to which said base plate is furnished with at least one throughout bore, which is suitable for detachable or non-detachable attachment of the base plate on each disposable surface. Moreover, said base plate is on its rear side furnished with at least one pin, which is suitable for detachable or non-detachable attachment of the base plate on each disposable surface.
Said base plate can also be furnished with a cover, which is pivotally around the axis, which extends along the transversal direction of the base plate, connected with said base plate and is suitable for placing over each tool pieces of a tool set, which are inserted within the gaps between the locking holders on the locking member and the gaps between the holders in both sequences on the base plate. Said cover is insertable into the area between both sequences of holders on the base plate and comprises a cutoff, which extends in the longitudinal direction and is located in the area of said locking holders and securing portions on the locking member.
A further embodiment of the invention provides that said cover is furnished with a plumbing means, which in combination with a suitable complementary plumbing means on the base plate enables plumbing of the cover, when it is placed over each tool pieces stored within the packaging, and prevents any displacement of the cover relatively to the base plate.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention each of said resilient cantilevered holders on the base plate is formed as a flattened circular loop and each of said locking holders on the locking member is formed as a letter L, wherein its bent terminal portion then represents said securing portion. The invention will be explained in more detail on the basis of an embodiment, which is presented in the attached drawings, in which

A tool set hanging packaging according to fig. 1 comprises a suitable rigid base plate 1. on which two sequences 2. 2’ of properly resilient cantilevered holders 21. 22; 2 G, 22” are arranged, which are suitable for inserting of each tool piece T there-between. wherein said sequences extend substantially in longitudinal direction x - x of said base plate 1 and are in the transversal direction y - y thereof spaced apart from each other.
Consequently, each tool piece T of said tool set is detachably insertable between both each neighboring cantilevered holders 21 , 22 of the first sequence 2 and each relative to said transversal axis y - y oppositely arranged cantilevered holders 2 G. 22 of the second sequence. Each tool piece T is therefore firmly held in its position, and can optionally also be removed from said position.
The hanging packaging according to the invention is furthermore furnished with a locking member 3, which is located in the area between said sequences 2, 2’ and comprises an actuating portion 301 , which protrudes outside from said base plate 1. and is by means of it movable relative to said base plate 1 at a pre-determined distance in its longitudinal direction x - x from one to another position. To this aim, said locking means 3 is inserted within suitable guides, which arc arranged on said base plate 1 , and is displaceable from its first end position to its second end position by sliding along said guides in a longitudinal direction x - x of the base plate 1 . Said locking means 3 is furnished with a sequence of resilient cantilevered locking holders 3 1 , 32, the arrangement of which is adjusted to arrangement of the previously mentioned cantilevered holders 21 , 22; 2 , 22 on the base plate 1 , so that each tool piece T of a tool set, when it is inserted between each neighboring holders 21 , 22; 2 G, 22’, also extends throughout the gap between the neighboring locking holders 31 , 32 on the locking member 3. Each of said locking holders 3 1. 32 on the locking means 3 is furnished with a securing portion 310, 320, which in one end position of the locking member 3 on the base plate 1 protrudes over each tool piece T of the tool set.
Consequently, each tool piece T of a tool set, when inserted in said hanging packaging, is temporarily prevented from being removed from each belonging gap between each neighboring holders 21 , 22; 2G. 22’ until the locking member 3 is displaced into its another end position on the base plate 1. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1 - 5 each of said cantilevered locking holders 31. 32 is shaped in form of letter L, wherein its bent terminal arm represents said securing portion 310, 320, and wherein each of said resilient cantilevered holders 21 , 22; 21 ", 22: in the sequences 2, 2’ on the base plate 1 is formed as a flattened circular loop. Such concept enables easy inserting each tool piece T into each corresponding gaps, reliable retaining of said tool piece T within each gap and also easily removing each tool piece from said gaps. In the shown embodiment there is a plumbing means 10 available on said base plate 1 , and a plumbing means 30 is also foreseen on the locking member 3. Said plumbing means 10, 30 on the base plate 1 and on the locking member 3 are adapted for plumbing by means of disabling any movement of the locking member 3 relative to the base plate 1 in that terminal position thereof, in which each tool pieces T arc by means of securing portions 301 , 302 secured against removal from the gap between each corresponding locking holders 31 , 32 on the locking member 3 and herewith also from the gaps between each neighboring holders 21 , 22; 2 , 22 in said sequences 2, 2 on the base plate 1. This is in particular important during the stage of offering each tools for sale, when each undesired removal of single tool pieces from gaps between said holders 21 , 22; 2 , 22’ on the base plate 1 is impossible.
Said base plate 1 is also furnished with a hanging ear 4, which is furnished with at least one passage 40, which serves for hanging said packaging on a suitable cantilever or a pin on each disposable hanging rack in a store. In the embodiment according to Figs. 1 - 5 said hanging car 4 is extractable from the area of the base plate 1 ant can fur such purpose be inserted within a suitable guide, which is available on the base plate 1.
In addition, in the embodiment according to Figs. 1 - 5 said base plate is furnished with at least one throughout bore 101 , which is suitable for detachable or non- detachablc attachment of the base plate 1 on each desired surface, e.g. for screwing the base plate 1 on a wall, in particular a perforated wall panel. In the shown embodiment said base plate 1 is on its rear side 100 furnished with at least one pin 102, which is suitable for detachable or non-detachable attachment of the base plate 1 on each disposable surface. Still further, said base plate 1 is in the shown embodiment furnished with a cover 6. which is connected to the base plate 1 pivotally around the transversal axis extending in said axis y - y and may therefore be set over each tool pieces T or each tool set inserted into gaps between the locking holders 31 , 32 on the locking member 3 as well as between the holders 21 , 22, 2 , 22' in said sequences 2, T on the base plate 1. In the shown embodiment said cover 6 is insertable into the area between both sequences 2, T of the holders 21 , 22; 2 , 22’ on the base plate 1 and is furnished with a cutout 60, which is located in the area of said locking holders 31 , 32 and securing portions 301 , 302 on the locking member 3.
In one of possible embodiments of the invention also said cover 6 is furnished with plumbing means 61 , which in combination with a suitable complementary plumbing means 1 1 on a base plate 1 enables plumbing of the cover 6 in its position in which it is placed over each tool pieces T stored within the packaging, by which each displacement of the cover 6 relative to the base plate 1 is prevented, which is in particular important by offering the tool set for sale, when removal of single tool pieces T from the gaps between each corresponding holders 21 , 22; 2 G, IT on the base plate 1 is prevented by means of the locking member 3 as long as it is plumbed and secured against displacing.

Tool set hanging packaging comprising a sufficiently rigid base plate ( 1 ), on which two sequences (2, 2’) of cantilevered holders (21 , 22; 2 G, 22’) are arranged, which extend substantially i.e. at least approximately in a longitudinal direction (x - x) of said base plate (1 ) and are in the transversal direction (y - y) of said base plate (1) spaced apart from each other on order to allow inserting of single tool pieces (T) of said tool set, such that each tool piece (T) of said tool set is detachably insertable into a gap between two neighboring holders (21 , 22) in the first sequence (2) and also into a gap between two neighboring holders (21’.22’) in the second sequence (2’) arranged along the same transversal axis (y - y). and is then maintained in such position, or can also be also removed, when desired, characterized in that a locking member (3) is arranged on said base plate (1 ) between said sequences (2, 2’) and is by means of its actuating portion (301 ), which protrudes outside from the base plate (1 ), displaceable in the longitudinal direction (x - x) thereof at a pre-delermined distance from its one to another terminal position, wherein said locking member (3) is furnished with a sequence of resilient cantilevered locking holders (31 , 32), the arrangement of which substantially corresponds to arrangement of the holders (21 , 22; 2 G, 22’) on the base plate ( 1 ), so that each tool piece (T) in a tool set, when inserted between each neighboring holders (21 , 22; 21’. 22'). also extends between each neighboring locking holders (31 , 32) on said locking member (3), and each locking holder (31 , 32) on said locking member (3) is furnished with a securing portion (310. 320). which in one of said terminal positions of the locking member (3) protrudes over each corresponding tool piece (T) of the tool set, by which each of said tool pieces (T) of a tool set, when inserted within the packaging, is temporarily protected against undcsired removal from each corresponding gap between each neighboring holders (21 , 22; 2 G, 22’) until the locking member (3) is displaced into its another terminal position on the base plate (1 ).

Tool set hanging packaging according to Claim 1 , characterized in that a plumbing means ( 10) is arranged on said base plate (1 ), and plumbing means (30) is arranged on said locking member (3), wherein said plumbing means ( 10, 30) are adapted for plumbing in the sense of preventing any displacement of the locking member (3) relative to the base plate ( 1 ) in that terminal position of the locking member (3), in which each tool pieces (T), which arc stored in the packaging, should be by means of said securing portions (310, 320) on the locking member (3) prevented against undesired removal from the gap between each corresponding locking holders (31 , 32) on the locking member (3) and from both corresponding gaps between each corresponding holders (21 , 22; 2 G, 22’) of both sequences (2, 2') on the base plate ( 1 ).
3. fool set hanging packaging according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said base plate ( 1 ) is furnished with at least one hanging eye (4), which comprises at least one passage (40), which is suitable for hanging of said packaging on a cantilever or a pin of each sale rack in a store.
4. fool set hanging packaging according to anyone of the preceding Claims, characterized in that said base plate (1 ) is furnished with at least one throughout bore ( 101 ), which is suitable for detachable or non-detachable attachment of the base plate ( 1 ) on each disposable surface.
5. fool set hanging packaging according to anyone of the preceding Claims, characterized in that said base plate (1 ) is on its rear side ( 100) furnished with at least one pin (102), which is suitable for detachable or non-detachablc attachment of the base plate ( 1) on each disposable surface.

Tool set hanging packaging according to anyone of the preceding Claims, characterized in that said base plate (1 ) is furnished with a cover (6), which is pivotally around the axis, which extends along the transversal direction (y - y) of the base plate (1 ), connected with said base plate ( 1 ) and is suitable for placing over each tool pieces (T) of a tool set, which are inserted within the gaps between the locking holders (31 , 32) on the locking member (3) and the gaps between the holders (21 , 22; 2G, 22’) in both sequences (2, 2’) on the base plate (1 ).
7. fool set hanging packaging according to Claim 6. characterized in that said cover (6) is insertable into the area between both sequences (2. 2’) of holders (21 , 22; 2 G, 22’) on the base plate ( 1 ) and comprises a cutoff (60). which extends in the longitudinal direction (x - x) and is located in the area of said locking holders (32, 32) and securing portions (310, 320) on the locking member (3).
8. fool set hanging packaging according to Claim 6 or 7, characterized in (hat said cover (6) is furnished with a plumbing means (61 ), which in combination with a suitable complementary plumbing means ( 1 1 ) on the base plate (1 ) enables plumbing of the cover (6), when it is placed over each tool pieces (T) stored within the packaging, and prevents any displacement of the cover (6) relatively to the base plate ( 1 ).
9. Tool set hanging packaging according to anyone of the preceding Claims characterized in that each of said resilient cantilevered holders (21. 22; 2 G, 22') on the base plate (1) is formed as a flattened circular loop.
10. Tool set hanging packaging according to anyone of the preceding Claims, characterized in that each of said locking holders (31 , 32) on the locking member (3) is formed as a letter L, wherein its bent terminal portion represents said securing portion (3 10, 320).
