- the body 32 has a cylindrical recess 37, and the heater 33 and the metal tube 34 are provided on the inner side surface of the recess 37 at a position corresponding to the tobacco-containing segment of the non-combustion heating smoking article 30 inserted into the recess 37. It is arranged.
- the heater 33 may be a heater based on electric resistance, and electric power is supplied from the battery unit 35 in response to an instruction from the control unit 36 that controls the temperature to heat the heater 33.
- the heat generated by the heater 33 is transferred to the tobacco-containing segment of the non-combustion heated smoking article 30 through the metal tube 34 having high thermal conductivity. Since it is schematically illustrated in FIG.
- the heating device 31 heats the tobacco-containing segment of the non-combustion heated smoking article 30 from the outside, but may heat the tobacco-containing segment from the inside.
- the heating temperature by the heating device is not particularly limited, but is preferably 400 ° C. or lower, more preferably 150 ° C. or higher and 400 ° C. or lower, and further preferably 200 ° C. or higher and 350 ° C. or lower.
- the heating temperature refers to the temperature of the heater of the heating device.
- a polymer layer containing a volatile component is provided on the inner surface of the wrapper of the tobacco-containing segment. Since the polymer layer is located in the vicinity of the heater of the heating device during heating, the volatile component contained in the polymer layer is gradually released, but a sufficient amount is released over a long period of time.
- Example 1 (Preparation of wrapper) A liquid prepared by dissolving 21 g of menthol in 9 g of ethanol was prepared (hereinafter referred to as liquid A). 45 g of PVA (Tg: 58 ° C., average degree of polymerization: 500, degree of saponification: 85 to 89 mol%) was dispersed and mixed in 116 g of water heated to 80 ° C. Liquid A was added to this while stirring sufficiently with a stirrer to prepare a dispersion liquid.
- liquid A liquid prepared by dissolving 21 g of menthol in 9 g of ethanol was prepared (hereinafter referred to as liquid A).
- the dispersion is coated on one side (brand name: 50NFB, made by Nippon Paper Papillia, basis weight: 50 g / m 2 ) on one side (engraving side), and dried at 60 to 90 ° C. to give a thickness of 20 to 20 on the paper.
- a wrapper having a 30 ⁇ m polymer layer was obtained. When the cross section of the polymer layer was observed by SEM, it was confirmed that the polymer layer had a porous structure.
- non-combustion heated smoking article for evaluation A commercially available non-combustion heated smoking article (trade name: glo regular, manufactured by British American Tobacco Co., Ltd.) was prepared.
- the non-combustion heated smoking article contains no volatile perfume ingredients and the portion corresponding to the tobacco containing segment contains tobacco and glycerin as an aerosol generating substrate.
- the wrapper corresponding to the tobacco-containing segment is made of paper only.
- the wrapper corresponding to the tobacco-containing segment of the non-combustion heated smoking article was removed, and the wrapper produced instead was wrapped to obtain a non-combustion heated smoking article for evaluation.
- FIG. 6 shows the menthol supply efficiency showing the ratio of the amount of menthol in the inhaled aerosol to the amount of menthol contained in the non-combustion heated smoking article for each puff.
- Table 1 shows the total amount of menthol in the aerosol sucked during the four puffs (total menthol amount) and the total menthol supply efficiency of the four puffs.
- the stain unit is each stain that can be approximated to an ellipse (including a circle) regardless of whether it is independent of other stains.
- the degree of generation of stains is indicated by the number of stains generated in the evaluation of 200 non-combustion heated smoking articles, the size of the stains, and the generation rate% at each level.
- Example 1 A commercially available non-combustion heated smoking article (trade name: glo Menthol, manufactured by British American Tobacco Co., Ltd.) was prepared. The portion corresponding to the tobacco-containing segment of the non-combustion heated smoking article contains menthol as a volatile perfume ingredient and glycerin as an aerosol-generating base material. The wrapper corresponding to the tobacco-containing segment is made of paper only. The amount of menthol contained in the non-combustion heated smoking article is larger than the amount of menthol contained in the evaluation non-combustion heated smoking article produced in Example 1.
- Example 1 in which the wrapper was provided with the polymer layer containing menthol, the menthol supply efficiency was substantially uniform in the first to fourth puffs. It is speculated that menthol was gradually released from the polymer layer.
- Comparative Example 1 in which the tobacco filler contained menthol and the wrapper was not provided with the menthol-containing polymer layer, the menthol supply efficiency decreased linearly from the first puff to the fourth puff. Most of the menthol contained in the tobacco filling was vaporized in the first half of the suction.
- Example 1 in the total of 4 puffs, the menthol supply efficiency in Example 1 was higher than that in Comparative Example 1. This is presumably because in Example 1, the menthol was contained in the polymer layer of the wrapper, and the polymer layer of the wrapper was located near the heater of the heating device during heating. In addition, since the initial amount of menthol contained in the non-combustion heating smoking article is different between Example 1 and Comparative Example 1, the comparison was performed based on the menthol supply efficiency in FIG. 6 and Table 1.
- Example 1 no stain was confirmed on the surface of the wrapper, whereas in Comparative Example 1, a stain was confirmed. It is speculated that in Example 1, the presence of the polymer layer could suppress the exudation of the aerosol-forming base material, the tobacco component and the volatile fragrance component contained in the tobacco filler.

PVA(Tg:58℃、平均重合度:500、けん化度:85~89モル%)45gを80℃に加熱した水116gに分散混合した。
